Abstract

Population growth projection in Bombana Regency up to 2045 is important because population increase is not accompanied by an even spatial distribution across sub-districts, which may lead to different levels of regional pressure in the long term. Population projection based on arithmetic and exponential growth models integrated with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is applied to describe variations in the spatial patterns of population growth at the sub-district level and to identify differences in projection results under different growth assumptions. Knowledge of population growth trends and spatial distribution is required to assess the direction of population development in the central to western parts of Bombana Regency, which grow faster than coastal and island areas, as a basis for long-term regional and spatial planning.

Abstract

The generalized k-token graph GFk(G) is a graph with the k-subsets of V(G) as the vertices, and two different vertices are adjacent if and only if the symmetric difference contains at least one edge of G. This model extends the classical k-token graph by relaxing the adjacency condition, leading to increased edge density and altered topological properties. In this paper, we establish the fundamental properties of GFk(G), including its connectivity, duality, and monotonicity. We provide exact formulas for the vertex degrees and the total size of GF2(G), along with combinatorial bounds for k > 2. Furthermore, we characterize the girth and clique numbers, proving that GFk(G) is highly prone to containing triangles even when the base graph is triangle-free. We also explore the inheritance of Hamiltonicity and bipartiteness, demonstrating that while connectivity is preserved, bipartiteness is lost for almost all bipartite graphs with at least four vertices. Our results provide a comprehensive structural characterization of this generalization, bridging the gap between classical token graphs and broader set-theoretic graph constructions.

Abstract

Traffic accident analysis plays a crucial role in improving road safety and reducing accident rates. Besides enforcing traffic regulations and promoting driver vigilance, analyzing accident data can provide valuable insights into patterns and risk factors that contribute to accidents. This research aims to apply k-Means clustering to accident data in East Java from 2016 to 2020 in order to identify hidden patterns based on victim age, victim type, vehicle type, gender, and accident causes. The clustering process categorizes most variables into two groups (low and high), while victim age is divided into three groups (young, middle, and older). The results reveal distinct accident patterns across age groups and victim types, with high accident clusters dominated by young drivers and motorcyclists. These findings provide insights into the characteristics of high-risk groups and can serve as a reference for designing more targeted road safety policies and preventive strategies.

Abstract

Mas Andi Red Brick Store in Bengle Village faces marketing challenges due to its continued reliance on conventional methods such as direct promotion and face-to-face sales. This strategy is considered less effective in today’s digital era, where consumers are more active in using online platforms to search for information and make purchases. To address this issue, a Community Service Program (PKM) was carried out with the aim of helping the business partner develop their enterprise through the implementation of digital marketing strategies to increase sales.The PKM activities were conducted in several stages, including initial observation, website usage training, intensive mentoring, and direct implementation of digital strategies. The training materials included the creation of social media accounts such as Instagram and Facebook, the development of promotional content, and the management of digital interactions with consumers. This was done because many potential customers search for red brick products via social media platforms.The results of this activity show that the business partner has started to understand the importance of digital marketing. The partner is now able to independently create and upload promotional content and expand their market reach through digital means. This activity not only improved their technical skills but also encouraged a change in mindset regarding the consistent use of digital technology to build a business image.The close collaboration between the service team and the partner created a participatory and practical learning environment. It is hoped that the skills gained can continue to be developed, allowing the partner’s business to grow and compete in an increasingly digital marketplace

Abstract

Rukyah Equipment Training at the Fadhlul Wahid Ngangkruk Grobogan Islamic Boarding School to Support the Effectiveness of Hilal Observation Implementation. This Community Service activity aims to improve the capacity of students and ustadz of the Fadhlul Wahid Ngangkruk Grobogan Islamic Boarding School in mastering rukyah devices to support the effectiveness of hilal observations. The method used was Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a practice-based training approach, so that participants not only received theory but also actively participated in problem identification, solution formulation, and field practice. The results of the activity showed significant achievements, where the level of understanding of participants reached 90% in the use of cameras and rukyah devices, and 85% in mastery of theoretical material, although there were still limitations in certain instruments. The implication of this activity is the need for continuous training and intensive mentoring to optimize instrument mastery. The suggestion is that this practice-based training model can be adopted by other Islamic boarding schools as a strategy to strengthen the role of Islamic boarding schools in the development of astronomy and determining the beginning of the Hijri month.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the maturity of e-government in Karanganyar Regency using a maturity model consisting of four main dimensions: technology, organization, environment, and economy. The method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with relevant officials, and data validation was conducted using secondary sources. The results show that the maturity of e-government in Karanganyar Regency is at level 3 (defined) and moving toward level 4 (managed). However, there are several main challenges, such as the uneven distribution of ICT infrastructure, data integration, limited skilled human resources in technology, and relatively low community participation, among others. This study recommends increasing the utilization of advanced technology and strengthening community participation to achieve higher e-government maturity.
