Abstract

The digital technology transformation has brought significant changes to the field of education, including at the elementary school level. This study aims to explore students’ perceptions and the challenges faced by schools in utilizing digital media for learning at SDN 01 Plelen, which his located in a rural area with limited technological infrastructure. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, data was collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews with class II students and teachers. The results show that the majority of students demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive perception toward digital media, particularly in terms of motivation and understanding of the material. Meanwhile, teachers acknowledge that digital media can enhance the effectiveness of learning but still face challenges such as limited devices, internet access, and the need for technical training. This study recommends improving infrastructure, providing teacher training, and ensuring ongoing technical support to optimize the implementation of digital media in elementary schools, especially in areas with limited access to technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of problem-solving abilities in grade 5 students' fractions in terms of learning styles. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Limpung with a total of 27 students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires, tests and interviews. For the validity or validity of the data using the triangulation method. The results of the study are: 1) students with a visual learning style have fulfilled all indicators of problem solving ability 2) Students with an auditory learning style have fulfilled the indicators of understanding the problem, preparing a problem solving plan and carrying out the problem solving plan but in the stage of re-examining students with an auditory learning style felt incapable of doing so. 3) Students with a kinesthetic learning style have fulfilled 2 indicators, namely understanding the problem and implementing a problem-solving plan while for the other 2 indicators students are deemed incapable of doing so. In this study it was also found that kinesthetic students experienced pseudo-thoughts where the child answered correctly but did not understand the concept; students only imitated the examples given by the teacher.

Abstract

Era Society 5.0, the national education system carries out reforms in a planned, targeted and sustainable manner to ensure equity in education, improve quality, and increase the relevance and efficiency of education management. So, the Ministry of Education and Culture established an independent curriculum with the development of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila character. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila and to describe the differences in the application in each dimension of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila at SD Negeri Sidorejo 01 Warungasem. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a type of phenomenology, and data collection techniques through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. In addition, this study used Miles & Huberman's data analysis procedures: data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and verification and deepening using source triangulation, method triangulation, and time triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila at Sidorejo 01 Warungasem Public Elementary School, namely through the school culture of entrepreneurship, intra-curricular learning with the habituation of religious morals, personal morals, morals towards humans, morals towards nature, and national morals. and scout and marching band extracurricular activities. From the implementation of the 6 dimensions of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila the most dominant are faith, piety to God Almighty, and have noble character. Based on these data it can be concluded that the implementation of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila at SD Negeri Sidorejo 01 Warungasem through the school culture of entrepreneurship, intracurricular learning and extracurricular activities of scouts and the Marching Band.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to analyze the factors that influence parents' decisions in choosing a school for their children, between Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools (SDIT/MI) and Public Elementary Schools (SD Negeri Kalipucang Kulon) in Batang Regency. The population in this study consisted of parents who had enrolled their children in elementary school or who had children aged 7–13 years and were domiciled in Kalipucang Kulon Village, Batang District. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling, which is a method of selecting samples by selecting individuals who happened to be met. This study used a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 20 respondents from among the parents of students. The analysis techniques applied were descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression analysis to test the proposed hypothesis. The results of the study showed that religious factors, quality of education, costs, and school facilities were the main considerations for parents in choosing a school for their children. Meanwhile, the quality of teaching, image, and location of the school did not show a significant influence. These findings provide important implications for schools and stakeholders in efforts to improve the quality of education. Keywords: Factors, School Selection, Elementary School  Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi keputusan orang tua dalam memilih sekolah untuk anak mereka, antara Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT/MI) dan Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SD Negeri Kalipucang Kulon) di Kabupaten Batang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari orang tua yang telah mendaftarkan anak-anak mereka di sekolah dasar atau yang memiliki anak berusia 7–13 tahun dan berdomisili di Desa Kalipucang Kulon, Kecamatan Batang. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling, yaitu metode pemilihan sampel dengan cara memilih individu yang kebetulan dijumpai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 20 responden dari kalangan orang tua siswa. Teknik analisis yang diterapkan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi logistik biner untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor agama, kualitas pendidikan, biaya, dan fasilitas sekolah merupakan pertimbangan utama bagi orang tua dalam pemilihan sekolah untuk anak mereka. Sementara itu, kualitas pengajaran, citra, dan lokasi sekolah tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pihak sekolah dan pemangku kepentingan dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Kata Kunci: Faktor, Pemilihan Sekolah, Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka menuntut peningkatan kemampuan guru untuk menyesuaikannya. Salah satu poin utama dalam aplikasi kurikulum tersebut adalah penerapan metode Project Based Learning yang dianggap memiliki potensi besar dalam memaksimalkan kompetensi siswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meingkatakan kompetensi guru di daerah Kota Pekalongan dalam memahami Project Based Learning dan penerapannya. Kegitan yang di selenggarakan di SMA Sains Cahaya Al Quran Pekalongan ini diikuti oleh 32 peserta, terdiri dari guru-guru yang berasal dari beberapa sekolah di kota pekalongan. Metode pelatihan diterapkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini yang dikemas dalam konsep Temu Pendidik Daerah. Fakta dilapangan yang telah terjadi bahwa mayoritas pendidik hanya memahami PjBL sebatas pemberian tugas keapada siswa, padahal PjBL lebih dari itu. Metode ini dapat memaksimalkan kompetensi siswa, menerapkan 6 profil pelajar pancaseila dengan maksimal, serta dapat membantu guru dalam penilaian apabila dikombinasikan dengan asesmen yang tepat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan selain meluruskan miskonsepsi tersebut juga untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam menyusun pembelajaran dalam era Merdeka Belajar.

Abstract

Technological advances bring positive and negative currents to the way students and the younger generation learn. Students can search for information and even the answers they need by utilizing technological advances. Unfortunately, the easy access to information received by students through technology without proper filtering or control will give rise to inequality in the younger generation, and negative foreign cultures sometimes affect our character as Indonesians. If bad habits are carried out continuously, they will stick and become bad character. Student character is a very important concern, and it is the homework of teachers and parents to complete it. Character will be the character, character, and behavior shown by the habits they carry out. Habits can grow through the environment in which they are formed, including family, school, and society. This community service has the aim of optimizing youth organizations as an environment for students to learn so that awareness grows in learning while at the same time embedding character values through the environment in which they are formed. Community service activities are carried out by forming study groups and utilizing existing facilities in the living environment, such as village halls, mosques, and parks. It is hoped that good habits in learning will stick with students and will increase awareness of learning.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, adaptability and entrepreneurial skills have become increasingly important. This research examines the role of Market Day as an effective method for instilling entrepreneurial values ​​among elementary school students. The study results show that Market Day not only provides practical skills in the business world, but also encourages student character development, including increasing creativity, independence, courage to take risks, and a sense of responsibility. Through hands-on experience in planning, production, marketing, and sales, students gain deeper insight into the world of business as well as improve their social skills, such as communication and teamwork. The findings show that Market Day contributes significantly to the development of entrepreneurial character, preparing students with the skills necessary to face future challenges. However, implementing Market Day also faces various challenges, such as limited resources and the need for support from teachers and parents. Therefore, this research emphasizes the importance of integrating this kind of activity into the school curriculum to form a generation of innovative and responsible entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are a crucial pillar of regional economic development, including in Caruban Village, Ringinarum District. One growing MSME is Abon Buana, which faces challenges in expanding its product promotional reach to compete in an increasingly competitive market. Utilizing digital marketing is a strategic solution to increase promotional effectiveness while expanding its target market. This study aims to analyze the role of digital marketing in developing promotional activities for Abon Buana. The method used was descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of digital marketing, particularly through social media (Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business) and marketplace platforms, contributes significantly to introducing products to the wider public, increasing interaction with consumers, and strengthening brand image. Creative content strategies tailored to local and global consumer trends have proven effective in attracting buyers. However, challenges include limited technology management capabilities, consistent content creation, and the need for ongoing mentoring. Thus, digital marketing plays a crucial role in strengthening the promotion of Abon Buana's MSMEs in Caruban Village, Ringinarum District, while also opening up opportunities to increase competitiveness in a broader market

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of Mindfulness-Based Learning (MBL) in enhancing emotional regulation and learning concentration among elementary school students. The research is motivated by the declining attention span and emotional stability of students in the digital era, which affects the learning process. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed in this study. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation conducted at SD Negeri Kranggan 02, Batang Regency, Indonesia. The research participants consisted of the principal, a fifth-grade teacher, and fifteen fifth-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The findings reveal that the implementation of Mindfulness-Based Learning, through activities such as mindful breathing, self-reflection, and brief moments of silence, helps students calm themselves, become aware of their emotions, and improve their learning concentration during classroom activities. Both teachers and students reported a calmer and more conducive classroom environment. These findings indicate that Mindfulness-Based Learning has the potential to be an effective instructional approach to support emotional regulation and learning concentration in elementary education, in line with the social-emotional development goals of the Merdeka Curriculum.
