Abstract

Learning at UPT SMPN 1 Sutera seems to be still low, this is because the learning model used by teachers is still not appropriate and the discussion process has not been carried out well. One way to overcome this problem is to apply the STEM integrated Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This research aims to determine the effect of the STEM integrated Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on student learning outcomes in human respiratory and excretory system material at UPT SMPN 1 Sutera. The type of research used in the research is Quasi Experiment, namely a research method to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions. The design used in this research is the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were class VIII students at UPT SMPN 1 Sutera. The sample in this study consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class which were taken using a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used consisted of an observation sheet on the implementation of the STEM integrated PBL model, pre-test and post-test questions. The research data obtained was then analyzed through descriptive statistical tests and inferential statistics using SPSS version 25. Based on the results of the analysis in hypothesis testing, it showed that there was a significant average difference between the control and experimental classes. The results of research hypothesis testing were found to be 0.000 and smaller than 0.05. Thus, it can be seen that the significant difference between Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, so there is an influence. The conclusion from the hypothesis test is that there is a significant influence between students' scores using the STEM integrated PBL learning model. So H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So there is an influence of the STEM integrated PBL model on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Project Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of the 8th grader at SMP Negeri 32 Padang on the digestive system and respiratory system. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with a research design that is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of the study covers all of the 8th grader at SMP Negeri 32 Padang which consists of 7 classes. The samples in this study were class VIII.6 as the control class and VIII.7 as the experimental class. The sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. The instrument of this research is a Pre test – Post test question in the form of objective questions as many as 20 questions. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using prerequisite tests, namely normality test and homogeneity test, then hypothesis testing is carried out. Based on the hypothesis test that has been carried out, the results of hypothesis testing calculations were obtained with the help of Microsoft excel using the t test technique with a significant level of 5%. The tcount ≥ ttable value is 2.56 ≥ 2.00, meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project Based Learning learning model has a significant effect on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 32 Padang

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low problem-solving skills of students due to learning that is still dominated by conventional methods and the lack of interactive media, resulting in students tending to be passive in their learning. This study aims to determine the effect of applying a gamification-based Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall on the problem-solving skills of seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Padang. This study used a quantitative method with a non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental design. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, with class VII.A as the experimental class and VII.F as the control class. The research instruments consisted of an observation sheet, a student response questionnaire, and a problem-solving ability test in the form of 11 essay questions. Data analysis was conducted through normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The results showed that the implementation of learning reached an average of 94% (very good category) and student responses were 88% (positive category). The t-test results showed that Tcount > Ttable (2.05 > 2.00), which means that there was a significant difference between the two classes. Thus, the application of gamification-based PBL assisted by Wordwall had a significant effect on improving students' problem-solving skills

Abstract

The application of learning to the Kurikulum Merdeka such as the Pancasila Student Profile has one aspect of achievement in the learning framework, one of which is the dimension of trust, piety to God Almighty and Good character. Kurikulum Merdeka learning frees teachers to use technology in carrying out the learning process. Based on this, research was conducted with the aim of producing valid and practical E-Modules. The type of research used Research and Development (R&D) and uses the ADDIE model using three stages of the model. The validity test of the Interactive E-Module is carried out by the validator and the practicality test is carried out by the science teacher and students. The instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of validity and practicality sheets. The results of the validity test obtained an average value of 0.92 with a very high category. The results of the practicality test by the teacher showed a value of 0.96, by students it was 0.90 in the very high category. It can be concluded that the development of the Science Interactive E-Module for Integrated Middle School Al-Qur'an Values has a level of validity and practicality with a very high category.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka expects students to be able to develop soft skills and character in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile. One of the lessons that can realize the Pancasila Student Profile is science. Implementing of science learning in schools requires a learning model so that the learning process has systematic step. One of the learning models recommended are Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. This type of research is quasi experiment with posttest only control group design. The population in this study were all student in VII grade at SMPN 7 Sijunjung. This experiment using purposive sampling technique, so that the sample were obtained as student at class VII. 5 and VII. 6. The research sample consisted of one experimental class applying the Problem Based Learning assisted by practicum and the control class using the conventional learning model. The research result obtained an average of experimental class = 49,97 and control class = 45,33. Based on prerequisite test, it was found the data were normal and homogenous. Include that the data on research show a significant influence in application of the Problem Based Learning on student in grade VII at SMPN 7 Sijunjung.
