Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and work stress on employee turnover at PT Cahaya Putra Persada. The variables studied were leadership style and work stress in relation to employee turnover. The research method used is a quantitative method. The data used is data collected directly through the distribution of questionnaires to employees of PT Cahaya Putra Persada. The number of samples in this study were 63 employees. Data analysis techniques used include t test, F test, and coefficient of determination test using SPSS 24 software. The results of this study indicate that leadership style (X) has no significant effect on employee turnover. Work stress (X2) has a significant effect on employee turnover. Thus, the results of this study indicate that the factor that has a very significant influence is work stress, which plays a role in the frequent employee turnover at PT Cahaya Putra Persada.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style and work competency on employee performance. The research method used is quantitative research with associative research type. The population in this study were all employees of the PPIC Dept. PT XYZ with a total research sample of 70 employees. The sampling technique uses saturated samples and uses collection techniques with observation instruments, questionnaires and interviews. Then the data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 29 software. The results of the research partially showed that transformational leadership style had no significant influence on employee performance and work competency had a significant influence on employee performance. The research results simultaneously show that transformational leadership style and work competency have a significant effect on employee performance. The implication of this research is that it is necessary to improve employee performance, develop programs, train and improve leadership systems.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of work ethic and work discipline on the performance of employees at the Civil Service Police Unit of Karawang Regency. The research employs a quantitative method using a survey approach. The sample consists of the entire population of 70 employees from the Civil Service Police Unit of Karawang Regency. Primary data were collected and analyzed using multiple regression analysis with SPSS 26.0. The results show that the work ethic of the employees is rated very highly. Similarly, their work discipline is also categorized as very good. Employee performance is assessed as good overall. Simultaneously, work ethic and work discipline have a significant influence on employee performance. Partially, work ethic has a significant impact on employee performance, and work discipline also shows a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

Teacher performance plays a crucial role in the success of the learning process. Competence and appropriate compensation are often identified as key factors influencing performance outcomes. This study aims to examine the effects of competence and compensation on teacher performance at State Senior High School 1 Tempuran, Karawang, both individually and collectively. Utilizing a quantitative approach, all teachers at the school were included as research participants. The findings reveal that competence has a significant individual impact on teacher performance, while compensation does not show a meaningful influence when considered separately. However, when analyzed together, competence and compensation collectively contribute to teacher performance. These results highlight the importance of enhancing professional competence as a strategy to improve overall teaching quality, with compensation playing a supportive role.

Abstract

The implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is an essential guideline for managing the flow of tasks and responsibilities, while work ethic plays a crucial role in enhancing motivation and commitment to carrying out duties. This study aims to examine whether the Bekasi Metro Police SPKT (Integrated Police Service Center) section experienced changes in performance after the application of SOPs and work ethic. The study employs a quantitative, verification-based methodology. The research population consisted of 34 police officers from the SPKT section of the Bekasi Metro Police. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS version 27 software to test the hypotheses. The results revealed that the application of SOPs significantly influenced the performance of police officers, with a t-count value of 104.374, which was higher than the t-table value of 2.040. However, work ethic did not significantly affect police performance, with a t-count value of 1.895, which was lower than the t-table value of 2.040. Simultaneously, both the application of SOPs and work ethic had a significant impact on police performance, as indicated by an F-count value of 14.371, which was higher than the F-table value of 3.29. Together, the application of SOPs and work ethic explained 72.2% of the variance in police performance, while 27.8% was influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Interpersonal communication is an important aspect in an organization to manage the flow of information between employees or employees and superiors, while work ethic plays an important role in increasing motivation and commitment in carrying out tasks, an ammonia distribution company in Karawang. The research background shows that the performance of employees of this company is still not optimal, with data showing fluctuations in performance scores from 2021 to 2023. The study aims to evaluate the extent to which interpersonal communication and work ethic contribute to improving employee performance. The methodology used is a quantitative verification approach with a population of 34 employees, using a closed questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The results showed that interpersonal communication has no significant effect partially on employee performance, while work ethic has a significant effect. Simultaneously, the two variables contributed 80.6% to the variation in employee performance. This finding confirms the importance of work ethic development as a top priority to improve productivity and work quality. In conclusion, although interpersonal communication has no significant effect partially, the synergy between good interpersonal communication and high work ethic together can create a more effective and harmonious work environment. Recommendations for management are to strengthen communication training and work ethic development programs to optimize employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at the One-Stop Investment and Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP). The research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. The sample consists of the entire population of employees at DPMPTSP, totaling 50 individuals. Primary data were collected through questionnaires. The data were analyzed using multiple regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26.0. The results indicate that employee motivation at DPMPTSP falls under the "very good" category. Job satisfaction is also assessed as "very good," while employee performance is categorized as "good." Both motivation and job satisfaction have a significant joint effect on employee performance. Furthermore, motivation has a partially significant effect on employee performance. Likewise, job satisfaction also shows a positive and significant partial effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline (X1) and work environment (X2) on employee performance (Y) at PT Rhino Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using multiple linear regression analysis. The study involved a population of 160 employees, with a sample of 114 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The partial t-test results indicate that both work discipline and work environment have a significant influence on employee performance. The simultaneous F-test results reveal that these two variables together significantly affect employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.821 suggests that work discipline and work environment explain 82.1% of the variation in employee performance. The implication of this research highlights the importance for companies to enhance work discipline and foster a better work environment to improve employee performance. Furthermore, this study opens opportunities for future research on other factors that may influence employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of leadership and entrepreneurial characteristics on business performance, with interpersonal communication serving as a mediating variable among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency. The study population comprised 147 MSME actors, from which a sample of 105 respondents was selected. A descriptive quantitative approach was employed, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationships among the variables in the proposed research model. The findings reveal that leadership and entrepreneurial characteristics have positive and significant effects on interpersonal communication. Furthermore, both leadership and entrepreneurial characteristics positively influence business performance. Interpersonal communication also demonstrates a positive effect on business performance and plays a significant mediating role in the relationship between leadership, entrepreneurial characteristics, and business performance. These results highlight the importance of effective leadership, strong entrepreneurial traits, and interpersonal communication in enhancing MSME performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the influence of compensation (X1) and Competency (X2) as independent variables on employee performance (Y) as the dependent variable in the Production Department of PT FCC Indonesia. Verifiatively, the aim is to test the hypothesis by calculating statistics about the effect of compensation and Competency on employee performance. This study used descriptive quantitative methods, and data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 155 respondents from employees of PT FCC Indonesia througha simple random sample. Data analysis was carried out using path analysis and the help of the SPSS application. The results show that the compensation, Competency, and employee performance variables have good scores descriptively. Verifiatively, there is a partial effect of compensation on employee performance and a partial effect of Competency on employee performance.
