Abstract

This study aims to determine the errors of students in using contextual and idiomatic expressions in Arabic student theses of Education Faculty of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung and to describe the factors that influence the errors. The method used is content analysis and data was analyzed qualitatively. All contextual and idiomatic expressions in the theses of students will be analyzed and combined with Arabic dictionary. Data source is 20 students’ theses. The results showed that errors are still found in contextual and idiomatic expressions, so the meaning of the sentence is not appropriate. The students got difficulties to distinguish both contextual expression and idiomatic expression of huruf jarr usage in writing sentences. The function of huruf jarr is still strange for them. Basicly, it was influenced by several factors, mainly the influence of Indonesian language which is very dominant, in addition to the fact that less students are given sufficient training to use huruf jarr.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan media presentasi interaktif "Mentimeter" untuk siswa kelas delapan di MTs Ar-Rasyidiyah, Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimental, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes, angket dan dokumentasi. Data dalam penelitian ini mencakup data kualitatif yang dianalisis secara logis dan data kuantitatif yang dianalisis secara statistik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) Motivasi belajar siswa kelas delapan di Sekolah Menengah Islam Ar-Rasyidiyah, Bandung sebelum menggunakan metode interaktif "Mentimeter" terbilang rendah berada pada rata-rata 64. (2) Motivasi belajar siswa kelas delapan di Sekolah Menengah Islam Ar-Rasyidiyah, Bandung setelah menggunakan metode interaktif "Mentimeter" mencukupi dan berada pada rata-rata 76,1. (3) Hasil perhitungan t hitung (6,94) > t tabel (2,04) menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis nol ditolak pada tingkat signifikansi 5%. Peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan media presentasi interaktif "Mentimeter" mencapai 33%, yang menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas sedang yakni (0,31 < g ≥ 0,70) menurut standar.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media video kartun, dan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan media video kartun dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menyimak dan berbicara di kelas sepuluh Sekolah Menengah Atas Islam Terpadu Jaisyul Quran Bandung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-test dan post-test. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah keterampilan menyimak sebelum menggunakan media video kartun untuk siswa kelas sepuluh A ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata 71 dan kemampuan berbicara sebelum menggunakan media video kartun untuk siswa kelas sepuluh A ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata 71. Adapun keterampilan menyimak setelah menggunakan media video kartun dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab kepada siswa kelas sepuluh A, nilai rata-ratanya adalah 87 dan kemampuan berbicara setelah menggunakan media video kartun dalam mengajar bahasa Arab kepada siswa kelas sepuluh A ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata-rata 87. Penggunaan media video kartun dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab mengalami peningkatan dalam keterampilan menyimak. kelas eksperimen dengan nilai 0,58 menunjukkan nilai 58% yaitu cukup. Dan penggunaan media video kartun dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab mengalami peningkatan dengan kemampuan siswa dalam ketrampilan berbicara. Tentang kelas eksperimen dengan nilai 0,48 yang menunjukkan nilai 48% yaitu cukup.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the lexical meaning, contextual meaning, and educational implications of the words "yusr" and "'usr" and their derivation in the Qur’an. This research is based on a framework using semantics, namely isytirāk (one word that has many meanings) as a tool to find out the meanings that have implications for the science of education. The research method used is the semantic analysis study by leading to the analysis of the meaning of the word with thematic methods, And the data collection techniques in this study use literature study techniques. After the researcher analyzed the words "yusr" and "’usr" and their derivatives in the Qur'an, it can be concluded that the word "yusr" means easy, to ease, simplify, good deeds, invisible, little/small, gentle, heaven and solution. The word "usr" means distress, difficulty, inability to pay debts, problem difficulty, doomsday, partner differences, ugliness, and hell. The words "yusr" and "'usr" have educational implications that are seen in each of their meanings.

Abstract

The results of learning Arabic in Tarkīb learning for grade X students at MAN 2 Cianjur generally have yet to reach the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) set by the madrasah. This is due to the monotonous learning process and the need for more student activity in the learning process. Therefore, using innovative learning media that can make students actively ask questions and provide feedback in the learning process, including word wall learning media, is very important. This study aims to improve the Arabic learning outcomes of grade X MAN 2 Cianjur students on the rule material (tarkīb) using wordwall media. The research method used is classroom action research with data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests, and documentation. The results of this study show that word wall media can improve student learning outcomes in Arabic language subjects and rule material (tarkīb) for grade X students at MAN 2 Cianjur. Thus, word wall learning media can be an alternative solution for Arabic teachers who face problems related to low student learning outcomes on the rule material (tarkīb). Keywords: Arabic, Learning Outcomes, Media, Tarkīb, Wordwall     Abstrak Hasil pembelajaran bahasa Arab pada pembelajaran Tarkīb siswa kelas X MAN 2 Cianjur secara umum belum mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang ditetapkan oleh pihak madrasah. Hal ini disebabkan proses pembelajaran yang monoton dan perlunya lebih banyak keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran inovatif yang dapat membuat siswa aktif bertanya dan memberikan feedback dalam proses pembelajaran, termasuk media pembelajaran Wordwall, sangatlah penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Arab siswa kelas X MAN 2 Cianjur pada materi kaidah (tarkīb) dengan menggunakan media Wordwall. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media Wordwall dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa arab dan materi kaidah (tarkīb) siswa kelas X MAN 2 Cianjur. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran Wordwall dapat menjadi alternatif solusi bagi guru bahasa Arab yang menghadapi permasalahan terkait rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi kaidah (tarkīb). Abstract

The purposes of this research are to identify phonological errors among students and the sources of these problems, as well as to find solutions to address these errors in Quranic reading among second-grade students at Madrasah Diniyyah Miftahus-Sholihin. Many students are unable to read the Quran correctly. This phenomenon is influenced by various factors, such as the pronunciation of different letters between Arabic and Indonesian languages. The method used is qualitative through descriptive analysis. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, testing, and documentation. The results of this research show that the qiraah al-tahqiq method helps improve Quranic reading among students.This can be seen from the results of the first and second tests. In the first test, students' phonological errors amounted to 1055 errors. While in the second test, students' phonological errors amounted to 197 errors. These findings have important implications for Arabic language learning, particularly in the context of learning tajweed and correct pronunciation of Arabic letters. It suggests that a structured approach and a focus on phonological errors can improve Arabic language teaching in school. For further research, it is recommended to expand this study with a larger sample and different grade levels to obtain a more comprehensive picture of phonological errors and the effectiveness of learning methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis permasalahan peserta didik dalam penerjemahan teks berbahasa Arab ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Di mana bahasa Arab berperan sebagai bahasa kedua bagi peserta didik yang tinggal di Indonesia setelah Bahasa Indonesia. Sehingga, penerjemahan menggunakan kamus Arab-Indonesia diperlukan untuk menunjang proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas. Hal tersebut menjadi problematika dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan penelaahan dokumen dan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, tes dan wawancara, sedangkan subyek penelitiannya adalah peserta didik kelas VIII K T.P. 2022-2023 MTs Husnul Khotimah Kuningan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ditemukan enam problematika penerjemahan Bahasa Arab ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia bagi peserta didik. Keenam temuan tersebut berhubungan dengan problematika linguistik, yaitu: siswa kurang menguasai kosa kata; siswa tidak memahami tata bahasa dengan baik; dan permasalahan semantik.

Abstract

This article discusses Arabic Language Learning (mufrodat) in class VIII students of Mts Minhajul Haq Purwakarta by using Crossword media because the learning outcomes of mufrodat in Arabic language learning in general students' scores still have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), this is because the Arabic language learning process is still considered difficult by students. Also, the Arabic language learning process still feels monotonous for students. This study aims to improve the mufrodat learning outcomes of 8th-grade students of Mts Minhajul Haq in Arabic Language Subjects using Crossword media (al-kalimat al-mutaqothi'ah). The method used by researchers is the classroom action research method (PTK) with data collection techniques through observation, tests, and field notes. The results of this study indicate that Crossword media (TTS) can improve students' mufrodat learning outcomes in Arabic language learning in class VIII Mts Minhajul Haq Purwakarta. This can be seen from the average pretest results of 58.67, then the average results of Mts Minhajul Haq students have increased from the posttest results to 89.65. Thus this Crossword media can be an alternative solution for Arabic language teachers because Crossword has characteristics including; fun, easy, provides challenges for students, and adds curiosity to students to find answers.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of implementing the Mim-Mem (Mimicry-Memorization) Method with the support of visual media in enhancing Arabic speaking proficiency in a school environment. The Mim-Mem Method combines mimicry for better understanding and memorization for vocabulary reinforcement, while visual media is utilized as a clear representation of the learning material. The research methodology employed is classroom action research with students from grade XI A at SMP IT Sahabat Alam Pelabuhan Ratu Sukabumi as the subjects. Data were collected through observations, tests, and field notes over two research cycles. The results were analyzed to measure the improvement in students' speaking abilities. The research findings demonstrate a significant enhancement in students' speaking skills after applying the Mim-Mem Method with visual media. The average scores increased from 64 in the pre-test to 81 in the post-test, indicating the effectiveness of this method as a learning approach. The discussion involves in-depth analysis regarding the positive impact of the Mim-Mem Method with visual media on Arabic speaking skills among students. The novelty of this research lies in the innovative combination of methods with a visual approach, providing an effective solution to learning challenges. In conclusion, the implementation of the Mim-Mem Method with visual media makes a positive contribution to improving Arabic speaking skills among students at SMP IT Sahabat Alam Pelabuhan Ratu Sukabumi. Recommendations for future research could focus on further developing this method, including variations in teaching approaches and more specific adjustments to students' characteristics. Additionally, further studies could explore the effectiveness of this method in higher education contexts or different educational environments.
