Abstract

One of the disruptions in fluency is the lack of smoothness in speech that does not correspond to the speaker's age, and this lack of smoothness affects the rhythm and average number of words produced when speaking. This research aims to identify disruptions in fluency rhythm experienced by a 27-year-old client with stuttering. The research method employed is a case study (qualitative descriptive). The research implementation in this case begins with observation, client interviews, and testing, including reading, storytelling, and two-way communication tests. The results of this study conclude that the client's diagnosis is beginning stuttering accompanied by secondary stuttering behaviors such as eye movements, movements downward, hand clenching, and toe tapping. The client also exhibits a feeling of fear and moderate to severe anxiety, with the ICD-10 code for stuttering being F98.5. Stuttering syndromes include core behaviors such as stoppages, repetitions, and prolongations. The total stuttering index for the client during reading is 8.9%, during storytelling is 15.06%, and during two-way communication is 10.28%. Based on the data assessment, the author suggests reducing stuttering by strengthening the client's modalities, such as fostering a strong desire to learn, parental support for the client's recovery, and motivation from the client to reduce stuttering.

Abstract

Background: This research aims to develop educational media that are informative, innovative, interactive, and appropriate to early childhood development that discuss reproductive health, sexual education, and efforts to prevent sexual violence in early childhood. This media is named AVI-SENA Book. Methods: This research is Research and Development (RnD) research using 3D development processes or steps that include defining, designing, and developing. Results and Discussion: In the definition stage, this product is defined as an interactive book for early childhood that discusses reproductive health, sexual education, and efforts to prevent sexual violence in early childhood. The book is entitled AVI-SENA. The design stage includes format selection and initial media design. The media was developed using flannel as the basic material, and is made in a busy book or activity book format for early childhood. The third stage is development. This stage includes product creation and expert review. There are two experts involved, namely media experts and material experts. From the results of the expert review, it was found that the product score was in the sufficient category, namely 2.53 for media and 2.47 for material. There are several recommendations from experts that are of concern in improving product quality, namely that the basic material of the media should be replaced with wipe and clean paper because the use of flannel cloth is not recommended, then studying the material in more depth and detail with clearer activity instructions so that children can understand it better and the activities in the book can also be modified so that they are more relevant to the content. Conclusion: AVI-SENA Book was developed as an alternative educational media for preventing sexual violence against children. It is recommended to replace the AVI-SENA manufacturing material with a wipe and clean paper to improve the quality of the media created so that it is more enjoyable for children to participate in activities using the AVI-SENA Book.

Abstract

Developmental disorders of joint attention or attention are the main characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Therefore, it is essential to develop these skills in early intervention efforts. Empowering parents and teachers is essential for success in increasing the attention of children with ASD; parents and teachers play an essential role in programs for treating children with ASD. This service explores techniques for empowering parents and teachers to increase attention to children with ASD. Establishing communication and cooperation between parents and teachers is carried out by the management of the Ananda Padang Autistic Partner School. The methods used in this community service activity include lecture, question and answer, discussion, and practice methods. The aim is to provide education to increase the understanding of parents and teachers in increasing the attention of children with ASD. The activity was carried out from 13 and 14 October 2023 with nine parents and nine teachers. There was an increase in scores on the post-test after clients were given education about increasing attention in children with ASD, namely from an average of 2.78 to 4.80. Parents and teachers also felt satisfied with the activities carried out, with an average score for material quality of 6.05, media of 5.60, and benefits of activities of 5.20. The output of this activity is an increase in the knowledge of parents and teachers after receiving education, namely an increase in the average post-test score. Abstract

Peran sentral tenaga kesehatan dalam pengelolaan penderita diabetes tipe 2 di Indonesia masih lebih diutamakan daripada perawatan berpusat pada pasien, keluarga, dan masyarakat. Orang-orang yang menderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 dan anggota keluarganya terus dianggap sebagai objek yang tidak bergerak dan bukan sebagai mitra dalam pengobatan. Pasien dan keluarga mereka, termasuk nilai, budaya, dan spiritualitas, belum memiliki kesempatan untuk membuat keputusan penting seperti meminum obat. Pengelolaan diabetes melitus tipe 2 menjadi lebih buruk dan belum tuntas. Melalui program MASDARIN, penting untuk mendorong masyarakat untuk mengelola diabetes secara mandiri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan mendampingi komunitas di mana anggota keluarganya berada. Hasil pendampingan melalui program MASDARIN menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman keluarga dan penderita DM tentang DM dan cara pengendaliannya; peningkatan pelibatan aktif anggota keluarga; kemampuan keluaraga untuk memilih pilihan yang lebih baik; dan peningkatan rasa nyaman klien karena dikelola oleh orang yang sangat dikenal dan dekat dengan klien, seperti pasangan hidup (suami-istri) dan anak dewasa yang sangat memahami sifat dan sifat individu yang menderita DM. Disarankan untuk menyebarkan program MASDARIN ke komunitas yang lebih luas dan memberikannya kepada orang-orang yang memiliki diabetes awal.

Abstract

Batas tekanan darah normal ≤ 130/85 mmHg, sedangkan ≥ 140/90 mmHg dinyatakan hipertensi. MeanArterial Pressure (MAP) adalah hasil rata-rata tekanan darah arteri yang dibutuhkan untuk sirkulasi darahsampai ke otak. Tekanan darah yang terus meningkat dalam jangka panjang akan menyebabkanterbentuknya kerak (plak) yang dapat mempersempit pembuluh darah koroner yang merupakan jaluroksigen dan nutrisi (energi) bagi jantung. Salah satu penatalaksanaan yang diberikan pada penderitahipertensi adalah melakukan aktivitas fisik seperti isometric handgrip exercise. Tujuan penelitian iniuntuk mengetahui pengaruh isometric handgrip exercise terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensidi Puskesmas Lubuk Buaya Padang. Jenis penelitian ini pre eksperimen dengan rancangan one group pre-test pos-test without control group. Sampel berjumlah 13 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampelyaitu purposive sampling. Pengolahan data penelitian ini adalah uji paired sampel t-test.Hasil penelitiandidapatkan rerata MAP sebelum dilakukan intervensi isometric handgrip exercise adalah 110,869 danrerata MAP sesudah intervensi adalah 102,123. Terdapat perbedaan antara nilai rerata MAP tekanan darahsebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi isometric handgrip exercise dengan p value = 0,000 (p≤ 0,05),berarti terdapat pengaruh isometric handgrip exercise terhadap tekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi diLubuk Buaya Padang. Disarankan bagi pelayanan keperawatan untuk memberikan informasi danintervensi isometric handgrip exercise sebagai salah satu terapi non farmakologis dalam menurunkantekanan darah pada penderita hipertensi.Kata kunci : Hipertensi, Isometric handgrip exercise

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan yang memengaruhi kualitas hidup anak di Nagari Pinagar, Pasaman Barat. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dilaksanakan sebagai forum lintas sektor untuk memetakan permasalahan sosial kesehatan ibu, bayi, dan balita guna mendukung upaya penanganan serta pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kantor Wali Nagari Pinagar – Kabupaten Pasaman Barat, pada Tanggal 4 September 2024 dengan melibatkan perangkat nagari, tokoh agama, tenaga kesehatan, kader-kader posyandu, dan masyarakat. Strategi utama adalah pengumpulan data partisipatif melalui diskusi terfokus. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini menghasilkan suatu Forum FGD yang menghasilkan peta sosial, dimana tercerminkan faktor penyebab stunting dan solusi potensial dalam bentuk rencana tindak lanjut. Dalam kegiatan ini juga dihasilkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat meningkat dan menghasilkan rekomendasi strategis untuk penguatan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Kata Kunci: Stunting, Nagari Pinagar, FGD.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to improve the English vocabulary of autistic children in comprehension and pronunciation through the use of card games and song movements. The research subjects used total sampling with 16 students. This form of research was a class action with a design in the form of planning, action, observation and reflection. This research consisted of two cycles. Data collection was carried out using tests, interviews and observations. The analytical method used was descriptive quantitative. The research results showed that through learning card games and song movements, students could improve their English vocabulary skills in understanding and pronunciation. In the results of cycle I, post test I was carried out, showing a comprehension score of 2.40 and a pronunciation score of 2.23. This means there was an increase compared to the pre-test with 0.94 marks for understanding and 0.67 for pronunciation. In cycle II, post-test II was carried out with results of 3.61 in understanding and 3.77 in pronunciation. The increase occurred by 1.21 in understanding and 1.54 in pronunciation. These results showed that the combination of learning card games followed by song movement games could improve English vocabulary skills in the understanding and pronunciation of students at the Autism Mitra Ananda Special Need School. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gangguan bahasa bicara yang terjadi pada anak dengan autism spectrum disorders atau ASD Usia 4 Tahun 11 Bulan di RSUD dr Rasidin Padang. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah karakteristik gangguan bahasa bicara pada klien dengan ASD adalah kekurangan dalam resiprositas sosial, emosional, mulai dari sosial yang abnormal misalnya pendekatan dan kegagalan percakapan bolak-balik normal; untuk mengurangi berbagai minat, emosi, atau pengaruh; kegagalan untuk memulai atau menanggapi interaksi sosial. Perilaku komunikasi nonverbal yang digunakan untuk interaksi sosial, misalnya mulai dari komunikasi verbal yang kurang terintegrasi; kelainan pada kontak mata dan bahasa tubuh atau defisit dalam pemahaman dan penggunaan gerak tubuh; kurangnya ekspresi wajah dan komunikasi nonverbal. Kekurangan dalam mengembangkan, memelihara, dan memahami hubungan, misalnya mulai dari kesulitan menyesuaikan perilaku agar sesuai dengan berbagai konteks sosial; kesulitan dalam berbagai permainan imajinatif/ dalam berteman, hingga tidak adanya minat pada teman sebaya. Adanya gerakan motorik stereotip/repetitif, penggunaan objek, atau ucapan. Melakukan kegiatan berulang, kegiatan yang tidak fleksibel pada rutinitas, atau pada kegiatan perilaku verbal atau nonverbal. Minat terbatas atau terpaku pada suatu hal secara tidak wajar. Hiper atau hipo reaktivitas terhadap masukan sensorik atau minat yang tidak biasa pada aspek sensorik lingkungan
