Abstract

This   study would like to get an idea of the meaning of informants for library users ( user ) library ,  virtual  library user behavior change and the  ideal  library  is  analyzed  in   depth interview  with  the  student  Elektromedical  Engineering Program , Dental Nursing , Nursing and Midwifery Health Polteknik Kemenkes Surabaya on campus Surabaya. Informants  were  taken by  purposive  sampling  technique  based  on  the  research objectives . Analysis  of  the  data  using  a  phenomenological   perspective ,  where   the  subjective  meaning  of  each  behavior  produces   intersubjective     interpretation  of  an  event  given  each  subject  in this  case  is  the user  library as a free persona  choice in determining the appropriate necessities of life . This   study   suggests  that  there  has  been a  process  of  formation  of  system  relevance  in  the process of social interaction . That individuals   in  this  study were  students  in  determining   the  behavior  of  his  actions   as  humans   living  in  the  modern era  have  freedom  including  the  use of  the library , not lost in   cyberspace   huforia   promising    a  wealth  of  information   with   electronic   capabilities  possessed , but still need a conventional library which has advantages in different angle.

Abstract

Measuring oxygen concentration and measuring the flow of oxygen is a tool used to measure the percentage of oxygen content and oxygen flow rate in CPAP. This tool uses the OCS-03F sensor, with Arduino NANO processors then displayed on the 2X16 character LCD. Measuring the percentage of oxygen content and oxygen flow rate is carried out on CPAP for 5 measurements. The research and manufacture of this module uses the Pre-experimental method with the After Only Design design, which examines the "Oxygen Analyzer", which results in measurements compared to the traced tools to obtain high accuracy values. Based on the results of measurements on the CPAP tool at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Hospital with oxygen level settings of 21%, 30%, 40%, 50% 60%, 70%, 80%, 90%, 100% while setting the oxygen measurement rate 1L/m, 2L /m, 3L/m, 4L/m, 5L/m, 6L/m, 7L//m, 8L/m, 9L/m 10L/m. Each measurement was carried out 5 times. For the measurement of oxygen levels the biggest error value is 5% and the smallest -0,06% while for the measurement of oxygen flow rate the biggest error value is 4% and the smallest is 0%. Based on the results of the analysis of the manufacture of oxygen levels and oxygen flow rates, it can be concluded that the manufacture of oxygen concentration measuring instruments and oxygen flow rate can work well.

Abstract

The main factor that affects the parameters of the workings of humidity in the baby incubator is the sensor used to read the humidity in the room. The purpose of this study is to analyze the humidity sensor in the baby incubator using 2 humidity sensors (DHT11 and DHT22) in the different location. The manufacture of this device used an after-only design, with a comparison device of INCU Analyzer, DHT11, and DHT22 sensors. Based on the measurement, DHT11 produced a value of 46%, while DHT22 produced a value of 55.45% with BPFK standards of 50%-70%. Based on the results of measurements using the INCU Analyzer, the average error value for DHT11 is 16.05%, while DHT22 is 3.47%. Therefore, the results showed that the DHT22 sensor was more accurate to be used in baby incubators because the measurement results were under BPFK standards and produced a low error value. This can be further implemented in a baby incubator making to improve the health and safety of the babies

Abstract

Light Curing merupakan alat kedokteran gigi yang menghasilkan cahaya tampak dengan panjang gelombang 400-500 nm. Light Curing sendiri digunakan untuk mengeraskan bahan tambal gigi. Penambalan pada gigi tersebut dilakukan karena terjadinya kerusakan pada struktur gigi (Karies). Salah satu bahan tambal gigi untuk mengganti struktur gigi yang hilang yang digunakan saat ini adalah resin komposit. Alat ini akan menyinari resin komposit dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan, Penulis menggunakan Arduino NANO sebagai pengatur waktu pada alat. Proses penyinaram pada alat ini dilengkapi dengan 3 Mode Penyinaran (Stepped, Ramped, Dan Pulse-Delayed) dan juga pengaturan intensitas cahaya untuk mode konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dan pengambilan data dengan mengukur kekerasan resin komposit dengan alat Hardness Tester, resin komposit yang di berikan penyinaran dengan waktu 20 detik, 40 detik dan 60 detik dengan ketebalan resin komposit 2mm. Pada alat dengan tambahan 3 mode dan tambahan pemilihan intensitas penyinaran dengan waktu 20 detik belum dapat memenuhi, namun pada penyinaran dengan waktu 40, dan 60 detik sudah dapat memenuhi tingkat kekuatan kunyah manusia yang mampu menahan sebesar 47 Ba. Pada hasil penyinaran 20 detik belum dapat memenuhi, hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya spesifikasi LED yang digunakan berbeda, kondisi lingkungan saat pemberian penyinaran pada resin komposit, kurangnya ketelitian saat menyiapkan sample yaitu kurang ratanya permukaan sample, dan ketelitian pembacaan saat pengujian.

Abstract

Stetoskop merupakan alat medis akustik sederhana yang berfungsi untuk mendiagnosa suara dalam tubuh manusia. Tenaga medis sering menggunakan stetoskop akuistik ini untuk memeriksa suara jantung. Hasil pendengaran suara juga sangat subyektif, sehingga masing-masing orang bisa mengartikan berbeda. Dalam penelitian ini dibangun sebuah stetoskop elektronik untuk auskultasi jantung dengan tampilan TFT serta di rancang secara portable sehingga dapat mempermudah penggunaan alat. Stetoskop ini mampu mengambil data suara jantung pasien serta menampilkan data plot hasil pemeriksaan. Hasil data akan ditampilkan pada TFT serta ditampilkan juga nilai BPM dari pasien tersebut. Berdasarkan dari penelitian yang telah penulis lakukan, maka dapat diperoleh data plot suara jantung dengan menggunakan filter pada frekuensi cut off 56,679 Hz – 88,646 Hz dan diperoleh nilai BPM dengan error terbesar ±0,72%. Nilai error alat masih dalam batas toleransi yaitu <1% berdasar ketetapan Balai Pengaman Fasilitas Kesehatan (BPFK). Desain Stetoskop Elektronik ini bersifat portable sehingga tidak memerlukan pc saat melihat tampilan plot sinyal jantung dan nilai bpm.

Abstract

Respiratory rate measurement tool is a technique used to determine the number of respiratory activity a person every minute. In the classification of the number of breathing per minute someone, can be divided into three groups, namely the so-called eupnea/normal, above average breathing called tachypnea, while below the average so-called bradypnea. This method is highly dependent on the concentration of the mind and senses actor sensitivity measurement / observation. Therefore human nature is easy to forget, tired and bored, so now developed a method of measurement or observation of respiratory rate electronically. In this study, respiratory rate measurement making use flex sensor by placing the sensor in the patient's stomach and will detect the curvature of the patient's stomach. Results from the patient's respiratory displayed on the LCD Character and android using HC-05 Bluetooth as the media sender. The results of the measurement data of the 10 respondents indicated the average - average error of 3.2%. After testing and data collection can be concluded that the appliance is eligible to use because it is still within the tolerance range of 10%.

Abstract

In the medical world, patient safety is a top priority. The number of workloads and frequency of use in the long term will affect the accuracy and precision of the equipment, therefore calibration is needed, namely the measurement activities to determine the truth of the appointment value of measuring instruments and/or measuring materials based on the standards of the Minister of Health Regulation No. 54/2015. The purpose of this study is to make the design of the Infusion Device Analyzer on flow rate parameters. The main advantage of this study is that the system can display three calibration results in one measurement at the same setting. The results of the calibration will determine the feasibility of an infusion pump or a syringe pump. This study uses the flow rate formula which is applied to the water level system to obtain the calibration results. The infrared photodiode sensor will detect the flow of water in the chamber that comes from the infusion or syringe pump. Furthermore, the sensor output will be processed by the microcontroller and the reading results are displayed on the liquid crystal display. The average measurement at a setting of 10 ml/hour is 9.36 ml/hour, at a setting of 50 ml/hour is 46.64 ml/hour and at a setting of 100 ml/hour is 96.04 ml/hour. Based on available data, this tool has an average error value of 5.69%, where the value exceeds the tolerance limit allowed by ECRI, which is ± 5%.

Abstract

A foreign fluid that enters the patient can cause some bodily reactions including infection, air embolism and blood clot. Side effects given will be fatal to the body, one of which occurs the blockage of the capillary vessels in the heart that can cause heart attack to stroke. The purpose of this research is to design a tool that can be used to measure maximum pressure as a form of the calibration of the syringe pump and infusion pump. The contribution of this research is that the system can simulate the presence of blockages in fluid flow and detect large pressure values detected by the Under Test Unit (UUT) with a motor peerround system that opens/closes fluid flow. Servo Motor MG966R simulate the presence of blockage with constant motor degree until the alarm UUT reads, then Sensor XGZP6887 detects the pressure generated by the blockage and processed by the microcontroller and displayed on the LCD display of the character. This study resulted in a maximum pressure average value of 7.12 Psi. The results showed that data retrieval had an error value of -0.12. This research can be implemented to perform pressure measurements on the syringe pump or infusion pump.

Abstract

"Wearing High Heel, Face Smiling, Heart Screaming", that's the headlines of one women'smagazine in Indonesia. Shoes are one of which had a role in the activity of a woman.Shoes have health function and aesthetics. Several studies have reported that theproportion of the prevalence of foot problems in women is associatedwith the use of high heels.One of the health problems caused by high heels is osteoarthritis. Symptoms include pain andstiffness in muscles and joints of bones. In the lower stage, a complaint can be treated withmedication and exercise movement. In later stages require surgery replacement cushions joints. Basedon the effects of the joints and muscles of the foot, the research about the use of high-heeled shoesnecessary.This study uses the FFT method that generates the frequency spectrum of the EI\1G signal on thegastrocnemius muscle and soleus muscle. The results of the frequency spectrum of thesignal provided an information about the content of the signal frequency form. Afterobtained the spectrum of the signal is, then it's calculated Mean Power Frequency(MPF).In this study, MPFvalue on the soleus muscle produced the 100-200 Hz frequency, the gastrocnemiusmuscleshowed a lower frequency than the soleus muscle 60-80 Hz frequency. The use of high heels7 Cm affect the soleus muscle increasing in the frequency ofthe initial frequency of 100-120 cm be180-200 Hz frequency. The use of high shoes with different rights can be classified clearly in the soleusmuscle MPF.It shows that the soleus muscle a major effect on height heel imposed on respondents. Theuse of high heels from 3 cm to 7 cm does not change the frequency of gastrocnemius muscle.Frequencyare still remain 60-80 Hz.KEYWORDS: Signals, Frequency, Muscles, Shoes

Abstract

There is a phenomenon that the development of the modern world in which the library of knowledge ml or recorder recorded knowledge stored in books or libraries with wall changes its function as a virtual library presence on line. Ml of research is descriptive research, which aims to get an idea of the meaning of the library to the user (user ) library, virtual library user behavior change and the ideal library. As the population in this research is all polytechnic students Surabaya, while the sample or informants come and elektromedik Engineering Program , Dental Nursing , Nursing and Midwifery Health Polteknik Surabaya is located in the campus environment. Informants were taken by purposive sampling technique. Analysis of the data using a phenomenological perspective, where the meaning of subjective and behavioral generate any inter subjective interpretation of an event given by each informant . Concluding this research is : a process of formation of system relevance in the process of social interaction. That individuals in this research is to determine the behavior of the students actions as humans living in the modern era have freedom including the use of the library, not lost in the euphoria of the virtual world that promises a wealth of information with electronic capabilities possessed, but still need a conventional library has its advantages and different angles.
