Abstract

Salah satu penyebab meningkatnya jumlah pengangguran di Indonesia adalah tingginya angka penggangguran terdidik. Permasalahan pengangguran tersebut dapat diatasi dengan cara menciptakan lowongan kerja mandiri melalui kegiatan berwirausaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat adakah hubungan pengambilan risiko dan intensi berkarier wirausaha pada mahasiswa di universitas swasta XX. Mahasiswa aktif sebanyak 337 orang dipilih sebagai sampel, dengan teknik non-probability sampling. Hasil analisis data menunjukan nilai koefisien r=0,751 (p<0.05) artinya ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara pengambilan risiko dan intensi berkarir wirausaha mahasiswa universitas swasta XX. Implikasi penelitian ini mahasiswa dapat memulai sebuah usaha untuk mengaktualisasikan keinginannya untuk berwirausaha dengan keberanian menghadapi dan mempertanggungjawabkan risiko yang akan muncul ketika berwirausaha

Abstract

Prajuritan is a war dance where a group of men and women dance together. Warrior dance, full of meaning, is a form of local wisdom that the people in Banyubiru Village, Semarang Regency, Central Java Province live. This research aimed to discover the self-characteristic description of Tari Prajuritan performers in Banyubiru Village. This study implemented a phenomenological-descriptive qualitative method. The data were collected through interviews and observation. The participants in this study were 3 Tari Prajuritan dancers from Banyubiru Village. The research results on the self-characteristic description of Tari Prajuritan dancers include firmness in decision-making, a confident character in relationships, responsibility, and an attitude toward serving others.

Abstract

This researcher is important for teenagers who still have anxiety about their desired career because one of the factors in making career decisions is self-determination which can help teenagers in making career decisions because self-determination is the drive that exists within an individual to achieve life goals, especially career. From the explanation above, the aim of this research is to answer the existence of a relationship between self-determination and career decision making among teenagers in Salatiga City Orphanage. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods with a quantitative correlational research design. The data collection technique used in this research was distributing psychological scales in the form of a physical questionnaire. The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The population of this study were teenagers in Salatiga City Orphanage with 105 subjects. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research results showed a correlation of 0.523 (p<0.05), which means there is a significant positive relationship between self-determination and career decision making among teenagers in Salatiga City Orphanage. So that teenagers who have good self-determination will find it easier to make career decisionsthat suit their abilities

Abstract

Mahasiswa rantau akan dihadapkan dengan situasi-situasi dan tuntutan baru yang dapat memicu stress. Untuk menghadapai tuntutan dan situasi tersebut maka diharapkan memiliki psychological well-being agar tidak menghambat dalam proses perkuliahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan psychological well-being pada mahasiswa rantau pasca pandemic. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan Sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Jumlah partisipan sebanyak 200 responden. Alat ukur dukungan sosial menggunakan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MPPS), alat ukur psychological well-being menggunakan Ryff Psychological Well-Being Scale. Hasil perhitungan uji korelasi product moment dari Karl Pearson antara dukungan sosial dengan psychological well-being diperoleh pearson correlation sebesar 0,659 dengan sig.= 0,004 (p<0,05) Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan psychological well-being. Studi ini menyarankan bahwa meningkatkan dukungan sosial dan psychological well-being bagi mahasiswa perantau menjadi peran penting dalam menjalani perkuliahan.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara psychological well-being dan burnout para karyawan produksi yang bekerja secara monotoni di PT. XYZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan analisa statistik parametris dengan teknik regresi linier sederhana. Penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 150 karyawan produksi yang bekerja secara monotoni di PT. XYZ. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah psychological well-being scales dan burnout scales. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa psychological well-being memiliki hubungan negatif signifikan terhadap burnout. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa tingkat psychological well-being karyawan produksi yang bekerja secara monotoni di PT. XYZ berada pada tingkatan yang rendah dan memiliki tingkat burnout yang tinggi. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti juga menyarankan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan psychological well-being karyawannya supaya mencegah terjadinya burnout dan berdampak pada peningkatan produktivitas perusahaan Kata Kunci: Psychological Well-Being, Burnout, Monotoni AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a correlation between psychological well-being and burnout of production employees who work monotonously at PT. XYZ. This study used quantitative methods and parametric statistical analysis with simple linear regression techniques. Sample determination in this study used purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 150 production employees who worked monotonously at PT. XYZ. The measuring instruments used in this study were psychological well-being scales and burnout scales. The results of the analysis were obtained with a correlation number of -0.666 and a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). The results of this study showed that psychological well-being has a significant negative correlation with burnout. This finding showed that the level of psychological well-being of production employees who work monotonously at PT. XYZ was at a low level and has a high burnout rate. In this study, researchers also advised companies to improve the psychological well-being of their employees in order to prevent burnout and create improvement in company productivity. Keywords: Psychological Well-Being, Burnout, Monotony

Abstract

AbstrakPandemi COVID-19 yang melanda pada awal tahun 2020 berdampak pada sosial ekonomi masyarakat akan keberlangsungan kerja dan pendapatan pekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh job insecurity terhadap komitmen organisasi pada karyawan kontrak di masa pandemi COVID-19 dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini melibatkan 100 karyawan kontrak pada PT. X dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala job insecurity dan skala komitmen organisasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa job insecurity berpengaruh negatif terhadap komitmen organisasi pada karyawan kontrak di masa pandemi COVID-19. Semakin tinggi job insecurity yang dimiliki oleh karyawan kontrak akan menyebabkan komitmen organisasi karyawan semakin menurun.Kata Kunci: Job Insecurity, Komitmen Organisasi, Karyawan Kontrak  AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic that struck in early 2020 has impacted society's socioeconomic community on worker sustainability and income. The purpose of this study is to know how job insecurity influences the organization's commitment to contract employees in the COVID-19 pandemic with a quantitative approach. This research involved 100 contract employees at PT. X with sampling technique using purposive sampling method. The scale used is the job insecurity scale and the organizational commitment scale. Data analysis is done using a simple, linear regression technique. The results of this research show that job insecurity does affect the organization's commitment to contract employees in the COVID-19 pandemic. The higher job insecurity possessed by contract employees will cause employee organizational commitments to plummet.Keywords: Job Insecurity, Organizational Commitment, Contract Employees

Abstract

The emergence of emotional intelligence in students amidst the rampant trend of playing online games has both positive and negative impacts. This study examines the relationship between the level of involvement in online games and students' emotional intelligence. The research design is correlational, utilizing an accidental sampling technique with a total sample of 169 students from Salatiga. Data was collected using the Emotional Intelligence Scale and an instrument for online game playing intensity. The data analysis method employed was descriptive analysis using the instruments of online game-playing intensity and emotional intelligence as primary data in this study. The results indicate no significant relationship between online game-playing intensity and emotional intelligence. This suggests that the intensity of playing online games does not influence emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the link between excessive internet usage and academic procrastination among students. Using purposive sampling, the researchers gathered data from a total of 107 students. The analysis employed Pearson's product moment correlation. The study utilized two scales: one measuring problematic internet use and the other measuring academic procrastination. The findings revealed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.488, p = 0.000, p < 0.05), indicating that medium levels of problematic internet use correspond to increased academic procrastination. Conversely, lower problematic internet use was associated with reduced academic procrastination. These results underscore the importance of students understanding the implications of excessive internet use to mitigate academic procrastination

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of religiosity of Elementary School teachers in West Halmahera Regency. The benefits of this study are to develop psychology, especially in the field of educational psychology related to religiosity and teacher work motivation. The research method used is quantitative using a correlational study design. The location of the study is Elementary School (SD) in West Halmahera Regency. The results of data analysis show that there is a relationship between religiosity and work motivation, with a correlation coefficient of 0.240 with a significance value of 0.009> 0.05. From these results it can be concluded that there is a significant positive relationship between religiosity and teacher work motivation in West Halmahera Regency. This means that the higher the level of teacher religiosity, the higher the level of work motivation they have. Conversely, if the level of teacher religiosity is low, then the work motivation they have also tends to be lower

Abstract

The global development of K-pop as a cultural phenomenon, particularly among young people, understanding the factors influencing purchasing decisions in teenagers is considered important. This research aims to determine the relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior in adolescents in the context of purchasing K-pop merchandise. Researchers used volunteer sampling techniques with a sample size of 408 K-pop fans teenagers. There are two scales used in this study, namely the conformity scale and the consumptive behavior scale. The data analysis method used Pearson's product-moment correlation. The results showed a correlation of r = 0.623 with p = 0.000 (p <0.01), which means there is a significant positive relationship between conformity and consumptive behavior. This means that the higher the conformity, the higher the consumptive behavior. Conversely, the lower the conformity, the lower the consumptive behavior
