Abstract

The objective of the study was to know, 1) the influence of leadership on discipline, 2) the influence of the motivation on discipline, and 3) The influence of the leardership and motivation on discipline. This research uses quantitative methods. The population was the all teacher at State Junior High School 1 of Tanjung Raja. The sample taken by totalling sampling with the total 35 teachers. Data collection is done by questionnaire, and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively using SPSS version 16 for windows. From the results of this study it can be concluded that 1) there was an influence of the leaderhip on discipline, 2) there was an influence of motivation on discipline, 3) there was significant influence between leadership and motivation on discipline.

Abstract

The research entitled improving the speaking skills of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Bungan Mayang, east OKU regency in online learning (online) based on e learning with digital storytelling media which aims to describe the application of storytelling on aspects og speaking skills in each cycle of learning Indonesia for class X students of SMK Negeri 1 east OKU Bunga Mayang. This research is an action research to improve student learning outcomes and improve the learning process in the classroom. The results showed learning outcomes in terms of knowledge, ini increasing learning in each learning cycle there was an increase in students mastery and absorption, namely completeness in cycle I 70.58%, absorption capacity 52.35%, and cycle II 70.58%, completeness level 88.23%, and absorption rate of 76.76%. Similarly the skill aspect increased in the first cycle 76.47% completeness and 55.88% absorption. In the second cycle it increased again 88.23% completeness and 77.35% absorption. Then, learning outcomes increased during learning in class X TKJ SMK Negeri 1 Bunga Mayang OKU Timur, students speaking skills developed from cycle I to cycle II as well as skills in cycle I reached 76.47% and increased to 77.35%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian PTK yaitu meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik Teks Argumentasi Menggunakan Media Dadu Edukatif Berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching Pada Kelas XI Ikhwan di SMA IT Izzuddin Palembang. Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI Ikhwan SMA IT Izzuddin Palembang terhadap memahami materi teks argumentasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terlihat bahwa ada peningkatan pada hasil belajar peserta didik pada prasiklus 28,57%, Siklus 1 50%, dan Siklus 2 100%. Peningkatan ini menandakan efektivitas metode yang diterapkan dalam siklus 2, seperti penggunaan media dadu edukatif dan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT), dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi teks argumentasi.

Abstract

Untuk menganaliti konteks sosial pengarang, hubungan sastra dan masyarakat, serta fungsi sosial sosiologi sastra dalam novel karya Arswendo Atmoviloto dengan judul “keluarga cemara” penelitian ini dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan konteks sosial pengarang dalam novel Keluarga Cemara karya Arswendo Atmowiloto, mendeskripsikan hubungan masyarakat karya Arswendo Atmowiloto pada novel Keluarga Cemara dan mendeskripsikan fungsi sosial dalam novel Keluarga Cemara karya Arswendo Atmowiloto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian diambil bahwa ada pada konteks sosial pengarang biografi yang dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini: (1) menjelaskan bagaimana konteks sosial pengarang Arswendo Atmowiloto dalam novel keluarga cemara (2) menjelaskan bagaimana sasta dan masyarakat karya Arswendo Atmowiloto dalam novelnya keluarga cemara (3) menjelaskan bagaimana fungsi sosial yang terdapat pada novel keluarga cemara karyaArswendo Atmowiloto. Dari pemaparan ketiga aspekyang dibahas dalam tesis kajian sosiologi sastra dalam novel keluarga cemara tersebut diambil kemudian dikajikan berdasarkan analisis dari sumber data buku novel berupa dialog ataupun percakapan – percakapan yang mengenai ketiga aspek yang dibahas dalam novel tersebut.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the application of audio-visual media to improve the ability to write drama texts through the project-based learning (PjBL) model for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Mesuji. This study is included in classroom action research (PTK) with 20 students as research subjects. The data collection method uses test, observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data analysis technique uses quantitative methods to observe student performance and assess the results of work in the form of drama texts. The results of the study indicate that the use of audio-visual media and the project-based learning model can improve the quality of learning to write drama texts, seen from changes in student attitudes in several aspects. Teacher activity in cycle I with a total score percentage obtained of 71.67% increased to 90% in cycle II. While student activity in cycle I with a total score percentage obtained of 70% and increased in cycle II to 86.7%. The total value of students' drama text writing skills in cycle I obtained 1035 or the average value of students classically was 51.75 with a percentage of completion of 10%. In cycle II, the total value of drama text writing skills increased by 1645 or the average value classically was 82.25 with a percentage of completion reaching 80%.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dan siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Kayu Agung dalam menulis dan mengapresiasi karya sastra, dengan fokus pada integrasi nilai-nilai pendidikan moral dan karakter dalam proses pembelajaran. Melalui metode penyuluhan, diskusi, dan praktik langsung, kegiatan ini dirancang secara sistematis mulai dari identifikasi kebutuhan hingga pelatihan berbasis sastra. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan partisipasi aktif baik dari guru maupun siswa dalam menerapkan pendekatan sastra sebagai media internalisasi nilai-nilai kehidupan, seperti empati, kejujuran, dan tanggung jawab. Temuan ini memperkuat peran penting karya sastra sebagai sarana pendidikan karakter yang efektif, kreatif, dan kontekstual di lingkungan sekolah kejuruan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' skills in writing procedural texts using the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by Artificial Intelligence (AI) for XI TBSM 2 students at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is a type of classroom action research. The method used is classroom action research. The research subjects consisted of 35 students of XI TBSM 2. The instruments used in this study include (1) action planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. Based on the results and discussion of the research, it is concluded that students' skills in writing procedural texts using the Project-Based Learning model through AI in XI TBSM 2 class at SMK Negeri 4 Palembang have improved. In cycle I, 24 students achieved mastery with a total score of 2755, an average of 78.57 or (68.57%). In cycle II, mastery increased with a total score of 2953, an average of 84.37 or (94.29%). The results of this study are expected to increase active participation and creativity of students in generating ideas in the ability to write procedural texts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya guru dalam mengembangakan budaya literasi di SMA PUSRI Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik obsevasi, wawancara, angket terbuka dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah upaya, tantangan, dan dampak. Upaya guru dalam mengembangkan budaya literasi melakukan beberapa upaya seperti pembiasaan membaca 15 menit, penyedian pojok baca di kelas, pemanfaatan perpustakaan, penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran serta mendorong siswa untuk membaca dan menulis. Langkah-langkah di analisis menggunakan model Information Literacy menurut Ferguson, B yang mencakup lima komponen: Literasi Dasar (Basic Literacy), Literasi Perpustakaan (Library Literacy), Literasi Media (Media Literacy), Literasi Teknologi (Technology Literacy), dan Literasi Visual (Visual Literacy). Dalam penerapannya, guru menghadapi tantangan rendahnya minat baca siswa, pilihan bacaan yang berbeda, pengaruh gawai, dan terbatas akses internet. Meskipun demikian, upaya guru menunjukkan dampak positif seperti berdampaknya minat baca siswa, meningkatnya kepercayaan diri, mengurangi ketergantungan pada gawai dan meningkatnya prestasi akademik siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure, function, and treatment of the meaning of mantras in Tanjung Kurung Ulu Village, Tanjung Tebat District, Lahat Regency. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and recordings. The technique of analyzing the data in this research is the systematic editing of data from interviews, field notes, and documentation, by categorizing the data, describing it in search units, selecting important data to make, and drawing conclusions that are easily accessible to oneself and others. Results Based on data analysis conducted on 13 treatment spells, the following results were obtained. In the 13 spells studied there is aspell structure, namely the title, opening, suggestion, and closing elements, with the function of the spell there are 13 spells that function as treatment, healing, and relieving pain experienced by a person. While the meaning of the mantra contained in the 13 spells has a denotative meaning.
