Abstract

This research aims to discuss the results of developing 3D digital teaching media with augmented reality for children's literacy. Children can access AR Teaching Media independently. The method in this study uses a four-D design, namely define designed to analyze teachers' abilities in the context of Teaching Media to what extent teachers understand digital-based Teaching Media. Design is designing digital-based learning media software, namely 3D Teaching Media with AR technology, researchers will construct literacy materials in digital Teaching Media designs that are in accordance with literacy materials for early childhood. Develop is a stage that includes expert validation tests and feasibility of the initial design of Teaching Media and is then developed according to the direction of expert validation tests and feasibility tests. Dissemination is a stage to disseminate and implement Teaching Media products. The results of this study are the development of digital 3D-based teaching media with AR technology has been proven effective in improving early childhood literacy skills. The use of AR technology not only improves literacy skills, but also children's motivation and involvement in the learning process. With wider adoption and support for technology access and training for educators, AR-based teaching media can be a very useful tool for developing literacy in early childhood.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Child-Friendly Schools (Sekolah Ramah Anak/SRA) at Sekolah Alam Bireuen (SABIR), focusing on three main aspects: planning, the availability of educators and education personnel, and the supporting facilities for implementing SRA. The background of this research is the urgency to fulfill children's rights in educational settings, as mandated by Law No. 35 of 2014 and the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). This research uses a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that SRA planning at SABIR is carried out in a participatory and contextual manner, involving students through class forums and the student council (OSIS), as well as parents through parenting sessions and community meetings. However, SABIR has not yet received a formal decree (SK) from the local government declaring it an official Child-Friendly School. In terms of educators, two teachers have received independent training related to child rights via the Merdeka Mengajar platform, although no official SRA certification has been granted. Regarding facilities, the school has provided several child-friendly features such as separate toilets, evacuation routes, and open-air classrooms that utilize the natural environment. Nonetheless, limitations still exist, such as the absence of key SRA symbols and a lack of inclusive infrastructure. This study recommends stronger formal support from the government, more structured training for teachers on SRA principles, and further development of facilities rooted in local and ecological values. The findings contribute theoretically to child-friendly school management studies and offer practical insights for schools and policymakers in building inclusive, safe, and joyful learning environments for children

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of school principals' leadership, teachers' performance, and motivation on students' academic achievement at UPTD SD Negeri in Jeumpa District, Bireuen Regency. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach with an ex post facto design. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple linear regression. The results showed that school leadership had a moderate correlation with academic achievement at 40.3%. Teachers' performance influenced academic achievement by 53.9%, while motivation strengthened the relationship between teachers' performance and academic achievement by 57.8%, and directly influenced it by 51.4%. Obstacles identified included leadership assertiveness, teacher cohesiveness, and low work motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah, dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Kota Juang, Kabupaten Bireuen. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan metode survei dengan 192 responden dari 370 guru, dipilih melalui proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan regresi linear berganda. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ketiga variabel berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, dengan motivasi kerja sebagai faktor paling dominan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan budaya organisasi, kepemimpinan inspiratif, dan peningkatan motivasi kerja guru secara terpadu.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of collaborative academic supervision by senior high school principals in Pidie Regency and its impact on teacher performance. Using a qualitative, descriptive approach with in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis at SMAN 1 Mutiara and SMAN 2 Mutiara, the research identifies three key phases: planning, implementation, and follow-up. In the planning phase, principals and teachers jointly design supervision agendas addressing actual learning needs. Implementation emphasizes dialogue and reflection through classroom observations, group discussions, and individualized mentoring. Follow-up activities include training, workshops, and peer supervision to sustain pedagogical improvement. Findings indicate that collaborative academic supervision enhances teachers’ professional competencies in lesson planning, classroom management, innovative methodologies, and learning assessment. It also fosters a collaborative culture, dynamic learning environments, and greater teacher motivation for ongoing development. The study offers theoretical insights for developing collaboration-based supervision models and practical guidance for principals, supervisors, and policymakers in crafting effective, context-sensitive supervision strategies to improve educational quality.

Abstract

Cases of violence and bullying within educational settings in Indonesia have become a serious issue, with 2,355 recorded violations of child protection in the education sector as of August 2023. Bullying most frequently occurred at the elementary and junior high school levels (25% each), followed by senior high schools and vocational schools (18.75% each), Islamic junior high schools (6.25%), and Islamic boarding schools (6.25%). Specifically, Aceh Province has also reported a significant number of bullying and sexual violence cases, with 575 cases of sexual violence against women and children recorded by June 2023. In response to the widespread prevalence of harassment cases in Indonesia, particularly in Pidie District, the Ministry of Education issued Regulation No. 46 of 2023 concerning the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Educational Settings. This regulation aims to create a safe and effective learning environment, one of its key measures being the establishment of a Team for the Prevention and Handling of Violence (TPPK) in every educational institution. However, the implementation of this regulation still faces challenges, especially in Pidie District. Observations indicate that the formation of TPPK has not been optimal, particularly at the kindergarten to junior high school levels, whereas senior and vocational high schools—under provincial government authority—have demonstrated more efficient implementation. Although there have been previous studies discussing the prevention and handling of violence in educational environments—whether related to Regulation No. 46 of 2023 or efforts to prevent bullying through character education—these studies tend to focus on narrow scopes. Therefore, this study specifically examines “The Implementation of Regulation No. 46 of 2023 on the Prevention and Handling of Violence in Kindergartens in Pidie District.” This research is crucial for assessing the effectiveness of policy implementation on a broader scale and for emphasizing the importance of early prevention, considering that violent and bullying behavior is often part of a long-term pattern

Abstract

Community service activities (CSA) are activities that aim to help certain communities in several activities that are useful for increasing community knowledge, insight, and skills in a matter or field. PkM is one part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, an educational activity in the community in the form of non-formal education for people involved in the world of education and the general public. The PkM implemented by this team is a forum for activities for teachers and prospective Early Childhood Education teachers to increase and expand their knowledge about child nutrition because child nutrition is an important factor in supporting optimal early childhood development. Because nutrition and early childhood education are closely related, a childhood teacher must know this knowledge not only about children's health but also in line with the integration of the national PAUD program, namely integrative holistic PAUD. The integration of PAUD knowledge with health and nutrition will provide new knowledge for PAUD teachers to find out more about the influence of children's learning development on whether children's health and nutrition are good or not when displaying the nutrition menu. Childhood teachers are asked to follow cooking instructions by preparing tools and ingredients in a healthy nutrition and toddler menu book. Six cooking groups are participating and each group consists of four PAUD teachers and childhood department students, who will then cook food with a nutritional menu and present it. nutritional menu contained in the composition of cooked food. This performance was held at Almuslim University (Umuslim) Bireuen, inviting twelve PAUD teachers from six PAUD schools in Bireuen Regency. Keywords:   Early Childhood, Exhibition, Healthy, Nutrition

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of public relations in improving institutional image at SMA Negeri Unggul Pidie Jaya. The background of the study is based on the increasing competition among educational institutions and the growing public demand for service quality, information transparency, and school credibility. In this context, public relations is viewed as a strategic managerial function that plays an important role in building public trust and a positive institutional image.This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The research site was purposively selected at SMA Negeri Unggul Pidie Jaya, Pidie Jaya Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The research subjects included the principal, vice principals in the areas of curriculum, student affairs, and public relations, as well as teachers and students. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The findings indicate that public relations management at SMA Negeri Unggul Pidie Jaya is implemented systematically through the functions of planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision and evaluation. Public relations planning is developed based on the school’s vision and public needs, organizing is carried out through clear task distribution and coordination, implementation is realized through activity publication and active communication with the public, and evaluation is conducted continuously through internal meetings and community feedback. The implementation of effective public relations management contributes positively to the improvement of institutional image, as reflected in school trust and reputation, openness and transparency of communication, and the quality of services and interactions with the public.

Abstract

This study aims to determine, 1) To find out how the process of improving the ability to recognize letters in early childhood after the implementation of the letter pinwheel media in Sirajul Huda Kindergarten, Jeumpa District, Bireuen Regency. 2) To determine the activities of teachers and students in improving the ability to distinguish letter sounds, letter shapes through the letter pinwheel media in Sirajul Huda Kindergarten, Jeumpa District, Bireuen Regency. This study is classroom action research using qualitative data analysis. The subjects in this study were children in group B of Sirajul Huda Kindergarten, totaling 7 boys and 8 girls. The data collection method was carried out through performance, observation and documentation. Based on the research results, it showed that the students’ ability in recognize letters was increase from cycle I (40%) become 80% in cycle II. Meanwhile, the percentage of teacher’s performance in cycle I wa 62%, including the "Starting to Good" category and it increased to be 81% in cycle II, including the "Developing Very Well" category. "Likewise, percentage of children's creativity was 40% in cycle I and it increase to 80% in cycle II, included in the "Very Well Developed" category. This shows that group B children at Sirajul Huda Kindergarten, Geuleumpang Payong Village, Jeumpa District, Bireue Regency, really enjoy learning while playing using the Letter Pinwheel Media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan supervisi kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) guna meningkatkan mutu lulusan pada sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Bandar Baru, Kabupaten Pidie Jaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif berlandaskan fenomenologi dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama empat bulan, dari September hingga Desember 2025, pada sekolah gugus inti wilayah barat Kecamatan Bandar Baru. Informan penelitian berjumlah enam orang yang terdiri atas kepala sekolah dan guru, dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan secara induktif dengan teknik triangulasi untuk menjamin keabsahan data berdasarkan kriteria credibility, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah telah melaksanakan perencanaan GLS secara terstruktur dengan mengintegrasikannya ke dalam Rencana Kerja Sekolah. Pelaksanaan literasi berjalan konsisten dan terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran melalui berbagai kegiatan membaca yang didukung sarana literasi. Selain itu, evaluasi GLS dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dan ditindaklanjuti melalui pembinaan guru, penguatan sarana, serta pendampingan siswa. Supervisi kepala sekolah tersebut terbukti berkontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi siswa dan mutu lulusan sekolah dasar.
