Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the variables that affect SMEs' preparedness to use e-wallets. This study employed a quantitative methodology. This method falls under the experimental research category. Questionnaires were used as the instrument of choice for gathering data. The study's target population consists of SMEs who have made payments using e-wallets. Purposive sampling was the method employed, and 200 samples total were collected. SmartPLS software was used in the data analysis for this study. At this point, the outer model and the inner model were the subjects of two analyses. SMEs are prepared to use e-wallets as a payment method, which is influenced by organizational, technological, and environmental factors, according to the discussion's findings. The most dominant factor influencing SMEs' intentions to use e-wallets is technology. This is followed by organization and the environment. Of the six hypotheses proposed, one was rejected, and the other five were accepted with a significant positive relationship. The hypothesis that is rejected is that environment affects organization. This is because the organizational structure is not yet perfect, causing existing organizational factors not to be determined by competitive pressure or the influence of service providers and partners. The hypothesis that has the greatest influence is that the environment influences technology. The higher the level of perceived pressure from competitors and support from service providers and partners, the higher the organization's intention to use technology.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to design and build an employee e-recruitment information system using the simple additive weighting method. There are three types of data collection methods in this research: observation, interviews, and literature study. The system development method used in this research is the OOAD (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design) method with the rapid application development model, while the tools used in object modeling are UML (Unified Modeling Language). From the discussion that has been described, the following conclusions can be drawn: This e-recruitment information system was designed and built using the RAD system development method and the SAW method for calculations in decision-making, using the PHP and MySQL programming languages as the database, and tested with black box testing. By using the e-recruitment information system to recruit employees, the HR and general divisions have a reference for selecting which prospective employees most closely match the predetermined criteria. This e-recruitment information system can reduce the possibility of human error occurring during the selection process, and with the value of each applicant calculated in the system, it will become a reference for HR staff in selecting employees more objectively. The administrative selection process, which takes one month, can be reduced to a maximum of seven working days. With the e-recruitment information system, selection results that were previously reported via message can now be seen directly in each applicant's account at a predetermined time.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how successful application use is and what factors influence the successful use of online shopping applications. This research uses quantitative methods. Users of online shopping applications in Jabodetabek were given a questionnaire via Google Form as part of the data collection method used in this study. Users of online shopping apps made up the study's population. Purposive sampling was the method used to choose the study's sample. In this study, a sample of one hundred respondents was used. The two types of data analysis are statistical analysis and demographic analysis. The results of the conducted research support the notion that the presence of online shopping applications is beneficial, and that user perceptions play a significant role in the success of an application's use. Respondents can shop online with convenience and utility thanks to the services offered by online shopping applications. User satisfaction with net benefits is the most significant factor, according to the path coefficient and t-test values. This indicates that consumers are happy with the online shopping app and are inclined to accept the advantages it provides. Consumers believe that an element that can raise the net benefit value of online shopping applications is user satisfaction. According to the path coefficient and t-test values, service quality is the factor that has the least impact on users' perceptions of its usefulness. This indicates that consumers believe the usefulness value they perceive from online shopping applications cannot be enhanced by the quality of those services. So, improvements need to be made so that the success of using the application increases.

Abstract

Farming or planting is part of human efforts to meet food needs, but along the time agricultural land is decreasing where one of the causes is due to infrastructure development, such as road construction, office buildings and others, so that the threat of a food crisis has arisen. A new agricultural method or technique emerged by utilizing existing land such as home yards as a substitute for rice fields called urban farming or urban agriculture, where this agriculture technique is not only conducted in rural areas but also can be implemented in urban areas. Of course it is a good initiative, as one of the actions in dealing with the threat of a food crisis due to reduced agricultural land. However, during implementation, urban farmers find technical obstacles such as in monitoring or controlling soil conditions and with time limitation. With the improvement or innovation of technology and the availability of the internet, this should be able to solve the problem, considering that these two things have not yet utilized properly in terms of agricultural activities, such as the use of the internet by farmers which is generally used for communicating. One technology that can be used and solved that problem is the Internet of Things (IoT). IoT can be utilized in monitoring the humidity of the soil via smartphones in real time. So, the obstacles that arise can be resolved by utilizing IoT and of course for the future this technology can be developed according to the needs.
