Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and understand the function and strength of fingerprints as support in proving the crime of murder,  and find out the effectiveness of fingerprints as supporting evidence for proving the crime of murder at the Mataram Police. This research uses the empirical legal research method, the data sources obtained from this research come from observations and interviews, and data analysis is used through qualitative analysis methods with descriptive analysis. The criminal acts regulated in Article 338 of the Criminal Code are the primary criminal acts, namely criminal acts that have been formulated in full with all their act elements. In the investigation process, finding the truth about the criminal act is not easy because there is often a lack of evidence and witnesses. So that investigators have to work harder in gathering valid evidence to get to the truth. The legal status of fingerprint proof as evidence in criminal cases, namely as evidence of expert testimony, letters, and instructions, is strong and valid, based on Article 184 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

Abstract

This research purposes are to know and to understand how is the regulation of careless parking which causing accident with dead casualty, how is criminal responsibility of careless parking offender which caused such thing. Type of the study was normative legal research which applied statute, conceptual and case approaches. Result of the study shows that regulation on careless parking has been regulated under Law Number 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic, Art. 121 and 121 para (1) and (2), Government Regulation Number 32 of 2011 on Management, Engineering, Impact Analysis and Road Management, Government Regulation Number 37 of 2011 on Road and Traffic

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis peran masyarakat dan peran Kepolisian dalam penanggulangan tindak pidana di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Mandalika dan menganlisis penanggulangan Tindak Pidana Narkotika Berbasis Community Policing di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Mandalika. Metode penelitian digunakan yaitu normatif dengan pendekatan perundang, pendekatan konseptual dan sosiologis. Penelitian ini berbasis pada norma hukum terkait tindak pidana narkotika dan kepolisian, yaitu UU Narkotika dan UU Polri. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan bahan hukum sekunder yaitu bahan data lapangan di Polres Lombok Tengah dan komunitas serta pemerintah desa Mertak, Kec. Pujut, Kab. Lombok Tengah. Penanggulangan Tindak Pidana Narkotika Berbasis Community Policing Di Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus Mandalika mencakup 3 (tiga) elemen kunci, yaitu: community partnerships (kemitraan masyarakat), organizational transformation (transformasi organisasi) dan problem solving (pemecahan masalah).

Abstract

Tindak pidana judi online semakin marak terjadi di Indonesia. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kendala upaya penanggulangan tindak pidana judi online dan apa faktor-faktor penghambat dalam pemberantasan tindak pidana judi online dalam studi di Polda NTB. Jenis penelitian merupakan penelitian hukum empiris menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan wawancara dan studi pustaka. Upaya penanggulangan tindak pidana judi online kepolisian Polda NTB mengunakan tiga upaya yaitu upaya preemtif, preventif dan represif. Faktor-faktor penghambat kepolisian Polda NTB terdapat dua faktor yaitu faktor internal yaitu sumber daya manusia, dan sarana fasilitas, dan faktor eksternal yaitu faktor server yang melegalkan judi, penggunaan jaringan pribadi virtual, dan masyarakat.

Abstract

This study seeks to examine the legal analysis of genetic technology innovations from the standpoint of criminal law. It adopts both normative and empirical legal research methods, employing a statute approach, a conceptual approach, and an analytical approach. Law No. 18 of 2012 concerning Food includes provisions under Article 133, which stipulates that food business operators who intentionally hoard or store food beyond the maximum quantity specified in Article 53—resulting in inflated prices of staple foods for profit—are subject to a maximum imprisonment of seven years or a fine of up to IDR 100 billion. The Indonesian government has established principles and regulatory standards governing the research and application of genetic engineering, including several laws related to biosafety and food security. Nevertheless, genetic engineering poses significant risks to the authenticity of genetic resources and ecological balance. This research recommends that the government intensify oversight by implementing laboratory testing procedures and establishing a regulatory body to monitor genetically modified seeds in Indonesia. Science and technology have long contributed to the improvement of human well-being and have continuously shaped modern lifestyles. The widespread use of chemical-based products and the growing application of genetic engineering in various sectors are part of broader efforts to enhance the quality of life. Through human intellect and innovation, genetically engineered products have been created with the aim of producing high-value goods that offer substantial added benefits to society—particularly in the agricultural sector
