Abstract

This study aims to analyze polarization of regional revenue and expenditure budget and general allocation fund as well as effect on regional expenditure in Regency/City of East Kalimantan Province. This type of research is quantitative research. The data uses secondary data. The data used is obtained from Regional Government Organization related to the realization of the Regency/City regional revenue and expenditure budget of East Kalimantan Province in 2011 to 2021. The data is contained in the Supreme Audit Agency of East Kalimantan Province. Data collection techniques by observation, document collection, and library research. Data analysis in this study used autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL). The results show that the general allocation of funds in a long run has a positive and significant effect. Regional expenditure in long run has a positive and significant effect. Regional income, general allocation funds, and regional expenditure in the short run have a positive and insignificant effect. Regional revenue and expenditure budget in 2014 to 2017 has decreased so that it can be said to be ineffective, then in the following year there is an increase so that it can be said to be effective. There is a decrease in general allocation of funds in the period from 2014 to 2015 which is 10.58% so that it could be said to be ineffective, then in the following year there is an increase of 22.48%. The following year is the same, so it is said to be effective.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the "Urip Kerimaan" Food Security Program in Mahulu Regency, East Kalimantan Province, since 2021. This program aims to increase food independence by focusing on developing modern and organic dry land agriculture. The program steps involve opening 500 hectares of new land in 50 villages, with capital support, community-based agricultural technology management, and outreach for farmers. This research uses a conceptual framework that includes aspects of the Food Security Program (X), Arts and Culture (Urip Kerimaan) (M), and Sustainable Development (Y). This research method involves collecting quantitative and qualitative data from 1009 farmers involved in the Food Security Program. The research results show that the Food Security Program has a positive and significant impact on Sustainable Development, as well as on Arts and Culture. The Food Security Program has made a positive contribution to increasing the area of rice fields, rice production and the number of farmers in villages. Apart from that, Arts and Culture are also closely related to this program, with increasing public interest in various cultural expressions such as music, crafts and dance, which then influences Sustainable Development.

Abstract

In 2022, a total of 70 districts (16.83% of the total 416 districts) and 4 cities (4% of the 98 cities) were reported to have low scores in the Food security Index (FRI). This research aims to analyze the impact of the availability, affordability, and utilization of food on the Food security Index (FRI) in districts and cities with the lowest Food security Index in Indonesia. The research is quantitative with a correlational design, aiming to analyze the effect of availability, affordability, and utilization of food on the Food security Index. The study was conducted in 74 districts and cities that had the lowest Food security Index in 2022. Secondary data were obtained from the National Food Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, and data analysis was carried out using Multiple Linear Regression methods. The research findings affirm that the availability of food has a significant positive impact on the Food security Index in districts and cities with the lowest Food security Index. Meanwhile, the affordability of food also shows a significant positive influence on the Food security Index at the same local level. However, the utilization of food is not proven to have a significant impact on the Food security Index in districts and cities with low levels of food security.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze commodities in the food crop subsector and horticultural crop subsector which have the potential to be developed in order to support the economy in East Kalimantan Province. Analyzing food crop subsector commodities and horticultural crop subsectors that have competitiveness to be developed in order to support the economy in East Kalimantan Province. Analyzing the shift and role of commodities in the food crop subsector and horticultural crop subsector in the economy in East Kalimantan Province. Analyzing economic development planning strategies that can be carried out in order to develop potential and competitive commodities in the food crop subsector and horticultural crop subsector to support the economy in East Kalimantan Province.In this research, an analysis was carried out to determine potential economic sectors using the Klassen typology analysis tool, then an analysis was carried out to explain competitive sectors and shifts in economic structure using the Shift Share analysis tool, then a SWOT analysis was carried out.The results of this research are food crop subsector commodities and horticultural crop subsectors that have the potential to be developed in order to support the economy in East Kalimantan Province are lowland rice, shallots and large chilies. Commodities in the food crop subsector and horticultural crop subsector that have competitiveness to be developed in order to support the economy in East Kalimantan Province are lowland rice, corn, bananas, shallots and large chilies. The economic development planning strategy that can be carried out in order to develop potential and competitive sectors in the food crop sub-sector and horticultural crop sub-sector in order to support the economy in East Kalimantan Province is to implement short-term, medium-term and long-term plans.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Natural Resource Profit Sharing Funds (DBH SDA) and investment on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) through regional expenditure in Kutai Timur Regency. The research employs path analysis with a multiple linear regression model using time series data from 2013-2022. The results indicate that DBH SDA has a significant positive effect on regional expenditure but a significant negative effect on GRDP. Conversely, investment has an insignificant negative effect on regional expenditure but a significant positive effect on GRDP. Furthermore, regional expenditure significantly and positively influences GRDP. Additional analysis reveals that the impact of DBH SDA on GRDP is more substantial through regional expenditure, while the direct effect of investment on GRDP is more pronounced. This study highlights the importance of efficient DBH SDA management and the optimization of investments to support regional economic growth.

Abstract

The Financial Services Authority (hereinafter referred to as "OJK") is an institution that has the authority to attribution has been established and appointed by the government to carry out regulatory and supervisory functions for Financial Service Institutions, one of which is in the case of requests for Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (hereinafter referred to as "PKPU") at life insurance companies. This research was motivated by the issuance of a PKPU ruling against PT. Kresna Life Insurance (hereinafter referred to as "PT. AJK) by the Commercial Court based on the application of Lukman Wibowo as one of PT AJK's customers and creditors. The problem that arises is that OJK as an institution that has the authority does not respond to the application submitted by the customer in question within the period prescribed by law. This study examines and analyzes the Commercial Court Decision against PKPU at PT. AJK (Case Study Number 389/Pdt.Sus PKPU/2020/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst). The research method used in this study is normative or doctrinal legal research. The results of the study found that the PKPU was not in accordance with applicable laws in Indonesia, because legally the authority to apply for PKPU is absolutely in the hands of the OJK.

Abstract

The Baduy tribe, located in Banten Province, is one of the traditional communities in Indonesia which has a unique social and community organization system. This research aims to describe in depth the social organization system of the Outer Baduy Tribe, including the organizational structure, the relationship between the Kajaroan in Outer Baduy and the government, as well as the social structure. The main focus covers aspects of social life ranging from marriage, death, to customary sanctions for violations of customary norms. This research approach uses a literature review method by analyzing various literature sources, in the form of books, journal articles and other documents relevant to the study of the social organization of the Baduy Luar community. The research results show that the social organizational structure of the Outer Baduy Tribe is divided into certain levels with roles that are defined by custom. The relationship between the Kajaroan in Outer Baduy and the government is coordinative but still maintains their cultural independence. The social order is regulated by binding customary rules, starting from simple marriage procedures, sacred death ceremonies, to the imposition of customary sanctions for violators of norms as an effort to maintain community harmony. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the wider community's understanding of the rich social and cultural systems of the Baduy Tribe, as well as becoming an important reference for efforts to preserve traditional values ​​in the modern era. Thus, this study provides new insights into the sustainability of local culture amidst changing times.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of health factors, education, infrastructure availability and minimum wages on labor absorption both directly and through private investment and economic growth. This study uses secondary data in the form of life expectancy data, average length of schooling, distributed energy, provincial minimum wages, private investment (PMA and PMDN), GRDP, economic growth, and the number of working population in each province in Eastern Indonesia. The data is in the form of N The results of the study show that directly health factors, education, and provincial minimum wages have a negative and significant effect on labor absorption while infrastructure availability has a positive and significant effect. Indirectly health factors, infrastructure availability and minimum wages are able to increase labor absorption both through investment and economic growth in contrast to the education factor which has not maximized labor absorption both through investment and economic growth. This is in line with the conditions of KTI which are still dominated by informal sector employment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the potential of regional levies in the city ofBanjarmasin through the rate of growth and contribution by using a potential matrix,how is the contribution of acceptance of regional retribution to increase of originalregional income in Banjarmasin City, and how effectiveness level of attainment oflocal retribution levies in Banjarmasin City during 2012-2016. The results of the study using the potential matrix to see the potential ofregional levies through growth rates and these contributions show the average yieldof positive growth rate and its contribution is not possible, these results indicate thatthe potential of regional levies in Banjarmasin City during 2012-2016 fall into thedeveloping category. While the level of effectiveness of local retribution into thecategory very effective because the average value of efficacy of regional levies duringthe last five years is above 100%.

Abstract

Teacher is one of several professions that is quite popular in Indonesia. Like many other profession, many factors are involved to determine the success of a teacher, one of which is job satisfaction. This study was aimed to provide information about the teachers' job satisfaction at the State Junior High School. The phenomenology approach was used to explore the teachers’ experience. The data were obtained from interviews and observations on the teachers. All primary and secondary data from the results of interviews and observations were collected and analyzed through four stages of analysis (analysis, horizontalization, meaning classification, and essence description). The subjects of this study were 15 main respondents and 2 supporting of one of state junior high school in Bogor. This study reveals that teachers’ job satisfaction was based on peers, altruism, and work enjoyment. Besides, it was found that worship, merit, and reward were some of the essences obtained from the teachers’ job satisfaction. The researchers assumed that these phenomena contained the essence of a sense of religiosity. This study recommends the whole stakeholders to pay more attention on the teachers' job satisfaction to supoort the learning success at schools.
