Abstract

Social loafing is a tendency for individuals to reduce the effort put into achieving a common goal than when work is calculated individually. The purpose of this study was to see the description of social loafing on members of the Mapala organization in Sidoarjo. This research uses descriptive quantitative research and was conducted in Mapala Sidoarjo. The sample in this study were members of the Mapala organization in Sidoarjo as many as 123 respondents. The data collection technique in this study used a social loafing scale in the form of a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that 64 out of 123 people have social loafing in the high category (52%). The highest social loafing aspect of Mapala organization members is the evaluation apprehension aspect with an average value of 23.46.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the phenomenon of students experiencing anxiety before the TNI-Polri test. Characterized by fear or individual appearance, the feeling that something bad is about to happen. This study aims to determine the relationship between Optimism and Anxiety before the TNI-Polri test on the TNI-Polri tutoring students. This research is a type of correlational quantitative research. The variables in this study were optimism as the independent variable and anxiety as the dependent variable. This research was conducted at the TNI-Polri tutoring center with a sample of 60 students from the entire population, which were taken using the saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique used two Likert model psychological scales, namely the optimism scale and the scale before the TNI-Polri test. Analysis of the data used is Pearson Product Moment correlation with the help of SPSS 18 for windows. The result of the correlation coefficient is -0.396 with a significance of 0.002. Which implies a negative relationship between optimism and anxiety ahead of the TNI-Polri. The effective contribution of optimism with anxiety ahead of the TNI-Polri test is 15.7%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of the adversity quotient problem in working students which is characterized by a lack of enthusiasm for participating in the lecture process according to the adversity quotient aspect, namely endurance. In this case, the resilience of students to work is not reflected in facing their difficulties. Then often complain in lecture activities, including the aspect of the adversity quotient, namely control. This makes self-control in working students low, where working students cannot carry out their duties as working students. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and the adversity quotient of working students at the Muhammadiyah University of Sidoarjo. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The sample in this study was 251 students who were taken using the Incidental Sampling technique. The data collection technique used a psychological scale of emotional intelligence and adversity quotient which was arranged on a Likert scale. The data analysis technique for hypothesis testing was carried out with the Pearson Correlaton Product Moment. The results of this study indicate the correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.411 (significance 0.000 <0.05). This means that there is a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and adversity quotient in student workers. The higher the emotional intelligence, the higher the adversity quotient, and vice versa. The determination test shows the effect of emotional intelligence on the adversity quotient of 16.8%.

Abstract

Perselingkuhan orang tua merupakan bentuk pelanggaran kepercayaan yang meninggalkan dampak emosional dan psikologis mendalam bagi anak yang menyaksikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami makna pengalaman anak dalam menghadapi perselingkuhan orang tua. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi digunakan untuk menggali pengalaman subjektif empat partisipan perempuan berusia 18–21 tahun yang pernah menyaksikan perselingkuhan salah satu atau kedua orang tuanya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara semi-terstruktur dan dianalisis menggunakan Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa anak menyadari perselingkuhan melalui proses bertahap atau penemuan langsung yang memicu reaksi emosional seperti marah, kecewa, dan sedih. Setelah peristiwa tersebut, hubungan dengan orang tua pelaku menjadi berjarak dan dingin, sementara anak cenderung menarik diri dari konflik keluarga serta mencari dukungan emosional di luar rumah. Pengalaman ini menandai hilangnya kelekatan dan kepercayaan terhadap figur orang tua, sekaligus membentuk cara anak menafsirkan relasi dan rasa aman di masa depan.

Abstract

Sense of community is very important to be applied in members in every community so that the community can survive and stand strong. This study aims to determine the description of the sense of community in the Dulur Mojokerto art community. The subjects in this study amounted to 56 people who were members of the Dulur Mojokerto art community. The method used is descriptive quantitative research, with a sense of community scale that adapts 24 sense of community Index Version Two (SCI-2) items made by Mc Milan and Cavis. Sense of community Index 2 (SCI-2) is a self-report measurement tool consisting of 24 questions, where each dimension in the sense of community is represented by 6 questions on the SCI-2, which include membership, influence, integration and fulfillment of needs, and shared emotional connection. Data analysis using descriptive analysis shows that 80% of community members have a medium sense of community, the implication of this research is to maintain the sense of community of members by doing relevant activities.
