Abstract

This article aims to discuss the richness of Islamic cultural heritage in the magnificent Land of Jambi. Through exploration of the history, heritage, values, and influence of Islam in Jambi, readers are invited to explore the rich and deep cultural footprint. From the history of the entry of Islam, the beauty of Islamic architecture and art, to the values upheld in local society, this article reveals the diversity and splendor of Islam in the area. The method used in this study is a historical method consisting of 4 parts, namely Heuristics, Source Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography. The type of source used in this study is collecting secondary sources, which are obtained through the process of document study which in this case can be in the form of data archives that discuss the richness of Islamic cultural heritage in the magnificent Land of Jambi, as well as scientific journals that discuss Islamic cultural heritage in Jambi Land. The result of this research is that Islam entering Jambi has a very much influence on the lives of Jambi people. This can be seen from the many changes in the order of social life, Islamic cultural relics, and even traditions that were present after Islam entered Jambi.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of Dutch colonial rule on the economic, political, social, and educational sectors in Jambi City from 1906 to 1942. The research aims to explore the Dutch position during the colonial period and its implications for the people of Jambi, who experienced both benefits and oppression. Employing a historical research method, the study follows four stages: heuristics (data collection), source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The findings reveal the Dutch role as Resident in Jambi from 1906-1942, highlighting the early period of Dutch presence (1906-1920), the colonial heyday (1920-1929), and the decline of Dutch influence (1929-1942). The research underscores the complex legacy of Dutch colonialism in Jambi, illustrating both advancements and exploitation experienced by the local population. Furthermore, it provides a nuanced understanding of the shifts in power dynamics and their lasting effects on the region's development.

Abstract

Salah satu daerah di Provinsi Jambi yang tentunya mengalami sengatan penjajahan Belanda adalah Kabupaten Kerinci. Perlawanan rakyat yang dipimpin oleh H. Ismail dan para pejuang rakyat Kerinci merupakan akibat dari upaya rakyat Belanda untuk membentuk sistem monopoli perdagangan dan membangun kekuasaan di dalam wilayah Kabupaten Kerinci. Tujuan khusus penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan bahan ajar sejarah kepemimpinan H.Ismail pada masyarakat Kerinci pada masa gerakan perlawanan melawan Belanda antara tahun 1903 hingga 1925. Tulisan ini ditulis dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kisah kepemimpinan dan kepiawaian H. Ismail dalam mengorganisir masyarakat Kerinci melawan Belanda di Kerinci antara tahun 1903 hingga tahun 1925 dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar pada kelas sejarah dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran dengan memperhatikan nilai-nilai afektif dan mencontohkan pelayanan terhadap rakyat. pahlawan-pahlawan yang pernah berjuang melawan penjajahan Belanda demi mengamankan kemerdekaan Indonesia, dan diyakini dampaknya semakin berkurang akibat semakin meluasnya globalisasi terhadap kesadaran siswa terhadap mata pelajaran ini.

Abstract

raining in making digital modules as learning aids has become a necessity for educators to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process in the classroom. the purpose of this service is to improve the quality of learning through the use of technology in the preparation of innovative and interactive teaching materials in the form of e-modules. the method used is the first, determining the location of the activity. Second, determining target partners, third, types of activities. Fourth, the activity stage is divided into the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the reflection stage. the results obtained in this training are teachers at SMAN 6 Batanghari who participated in this training totaling 26 people. This teacher knows, recognizes and understands the Flipbuilder application and is proficient in making e-modules using this application so that they can be used as teaching materials for students. The conclusion of this service is that this training is very useful for teachers and students in the form of e-module products.ABSTRAKPelatihan pembuatan modul digital sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran telah menjadi kebutuhan bagi tenaga pendidik untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses pembelajaran di kelas. tujuan pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi dalam penyusunan materi ajar yang inovatif dan interaktif dalam bentuk e-modul. metode yang digunakan adalah yang pertama, penentuan lokasi kegiatan. Kedua, menentukan mitra sasaran, ketiga, Jenis Kegiatan. Keempat, tahap kegiatan yang dibagi kedalam tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap refleksi. hasil yang didapat dalam pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru di SMAN 6 Batanghari yang ikut dalam pelatihan ini berjumlah 26 orang. Guru ini mengetahui, mengenal dan memahami aplikasi Flipbuilder serta mahir dalam pembuatan e-modul menggunakan aplikasi ini sehingga bisa di jadikan bahan ajar untuk siswa. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini bahwa pelatihan ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru dan siswa dalam bentuk produknya e-modul.

Abstract

Abstract:   Creative thinking skills for students are needed in facing changes and challenges in the dynamic era of globalization. This study aims to determine how the effectiveness of using PjBL based on animated videos of western Voyages routes to the nusantara in improving students' creative thinking skills in Indonesian history courses during the era of western influence. The research method used is Pre-Experimental Designs, with the form of designs used, namely One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the use of PjBL based on animated videos of western voyages routes to the nusantara is proven to be effective in improving students' creative thinking skills in Indonesian history courses during the era of western influence. This is based on the results of the paired sample t-test obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05. This shows that there is a significant difference between the value of students' creative thinking skills before and after using PjBL based on animated videos of western Voyages routes to the nusantara. Abstrak: Kemampuan berpikir kreatif bagi mahasiswa sangat dibutuhkan dalam menghadapi perubahan dan tantangan di era globalisasi yang dinamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas penggunaan PjBL berbasis video animasi rute pelayaran bangsa barat ke nusantara dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada matakuliah sejarah indonesia zaman pengaruh barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Designs, dengan bentuk designs yang digunakan yaitu One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa penggunaan PjBL berbasis video animasi rute pelayaran bangsa barat ke nusantara terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa pada matakuliah sejarah Indonesia zaman pengaruh barat. Hal ini didasarkan atas hasil uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hal ini menunjukan adanya perbedaan yang nyata antara nilai kemapuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan PjBL berbasis video animasi rute pelayaran bangsa barat ke nusantara.

Abstract

Education in this era requires technology as a supporting facility in facilitating the learning process. Based on observations made at SMA Negeri 1 Sumberejo, it was found that the history learning media used was simple, and the learning was still teacher-centered. Monotonous subject matter and teaching concepts that only memorize textbooks make students lazy to study. This problem affects students' historical awareness. The historical awareness of students at SMAN 1 Sumberejo is still low, as evidenced by the results of the distribution of students' historical awareness questionnaires in class X IPS of SMAN 1 Sumberejo, which obtained an average score of only 63.05 or around 42.03%. This study aims to determine how effective mobile learning-based history learning media is in increasing students' historical awareness at SMAN 1 Sumberejo. The method used in this research is the experimental research method. Based on the discussion results, it can be concluded that using mobile learning-based historical learning media at SMAN 1 Sumberejo has proven effective in increasing students' historical awareness. This conclusion is based on hypothesis H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted because the independent sample t-test obtained a sig of 0.000. Or the t value has a significance level (2-tailed) < (0.05).

Abstract

Hasil observasi di kelas X Kuliner 4 SMK Negeri 4 Kota Jambi menunjukkan bahwa motivasi belajar Sejarah masih rendah akibat media pembelajaran yang monoton, seperti penggunaan PowerPoint. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, penelitian ini menerapkan media game edukasi berbasis Wordwall guna menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini melibatkan 34 siswa dan bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, di mana motivasi belajar siswa yang awalnya sebesar 68% dan 75% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 83% dan 90% pada siklus II, membuktikan efektivitas Wordwall dalam meningkatkan antusiasme belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini melibatkan 34 siswa dan bertujuan untuk menganalisis peningkatan motivasi belajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, di mana motivasi belajar siswa yang awalnya sebesar 68% dan 73% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 76% dan 82% pada siklus II, membuktikan efektivitas Wordwall dalam meningkatkan antusiasme belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on critical thinking skills in history learning. This research was carried out at State Senior High School (SMA Negeri) 1 Gunung Sugih in February, even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used in this research is quasi-experimental. The research sample consisted of 31 students each in the control and experimental classes. The data collection technique used was an Essay Test in the form of 10 questions which were then analyzed using the t test. The results of hypothesis testing using SPSS version 22 software obtained Sig data <α, namely 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on critical thinking skills in history learning.
