Abstract

The production of eggshell powder as a water purifier has the potential to be utilized in Senoni Village, Sebulu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. Based on the results of initial observations the majority of residents there use Mahakam river water for daily needs where the water is still classified as cloudy. The purpose of implementing Community Service Activities is through socializing the production and utilization of eggshell powder as a water purifier and providing assistance through training activities on the powder as a water purifier. The approach method used were the lecture method, demonstration method, and mentoring method. Furthermore, the stages of socialization implementation as a solution to overcome the problems are as follows: 1) sample preparation stage, 2) socialization preparation stage, 3) implementation stage, and 4) evaluation stage. The results of the activity showed that an increase of 84% of participants knew the procedure for making eggshell flour, and 60% felt that it was very easy to make so it was very possible for participants to make it independently at their respective homes. This activity went well and smoothly without any significant problems. Participants are interested and want to implement the new knowledge that has been obtained through this socialization method, scientific findings results, and a short conclusion. The abstract should only be typed in one paragraph and one-column format.

Abstract

Creating corporate value is the company's main goal, making various strategic decisions continuously sothat it has a positive impact on the company and its esteem on the prosperity of shareholders. This studyaims to analyze the Creation of Company Value through Mergers and Acquisitions.This study uses a quantitative descriptive verification approach, the object of research in public sectorbanking companies in Indonesia. To know the difference in the value of the company before and after M &A by using Paired sample T test.The results showed that the asset restructuring strategy through Mergers and Acquisitions did not have apositive and significant impact on corporate value creation. This shows the absence of corporate financialsynergy through mergers and acquisitions. Abstract

DAMIU (Refill Drinking Water Depot) is an individual or group business that manages refill drinking water for public consumption directly filled on the spot and not in packaged form, this water must meet the standardization of drinking water quality requirements with one of its parameters, namely physical parameters that do not directly related to health, namely temperature, pH, total dissolved solids and electrical conductivity. This research was conducted to determine the quality of refill drinking water in Tanjung Redeb Subdistrict, whether it complies with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements and to determine the effect of the duration of water storage on drinking water quality with parameters physical. This research was conducted in Tanjung Redeb District, Berau Regency and was carried out with 2 different water sources, namely drilled wells and PDAM. Water quality is measured using a TDS meter. Based on the research that has been done, the results of measuring the quality of refill drinking water in Tanjung Redeb District, Berau Regency, namely the water quality meets the standardization of the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 concerning drinking water quality requirements and the result is that the storage time for 15 days had an effect on changes in the values ​​of the parameters pH, TDS and DHL and even though they were stored for 15 days the quality still met drinking water quality standards while the temperature parameter had no effect.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the performance of a-Si: H solar cells, particularly in terms of carrier transport properties, through a numerical design approach utilizing AFORS-HET simulation software. By performing a series of rigorous computer simulations, we explore the potential regulation of the intrinsic layer thickness, carrier mobility, loading factor, and density of states (DoS) distribution in the solar cell's intrinsic layer. Recombination losses are reduced, and light absorption efficiency is significantly increased when the intrinsic layer thickness is adjusted, as shown by simulation findings. Moreover, reduction of transit times and enhancement of the total efficiency of the solar cells depend on increased carrier mobility. Parameters can be adjusted to attain optimal performance under various operating situations by adjusting the DoS and load factors. Furthermore, the simulations provide insightful information about the interactions between the junctions in solar cells with double junctions. Our results of this research provide an important contribution to efforts to develop more efficient and sustainable a-Si: H solar cells and emphasize the importance of numerical design approaches in photovoltaic technology.

Abstract

Heavy metal pollution is still a serious problem today. One method that can be used to remove heavy metal content from water is the adsorption method. In the adsorption method, the choice of adsorbent is very important to optimize the adsorption process. One of the materials that can be used as an adsorbent is tea waste. Tea waste contains cellulose, which can be used to bind heavy metal ions. This research was conducted to synthesize adsorbents using tea waste and then test their ability to adsorb lead ions. The adsorbent synthesis process is divided into several stages, namely washing, drying, refining, soaking in HCl solution, and drying again. The results of the adsorption tests conducted found that the tea waste adsorbent could remove 99% of the lead metal ion content in the water. The conclusion from these results is that the synthesis process has succeeded in making tea waste adsorbent that can adsorb lead ions in water.

Abstract

Multiparty cooperatives are an innovation in cooperative management in Indonesia which was initiated through the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises Regulation Number 8 of 2021. This research aims to analyze the characteristics, benefits and challenges of this cooperative model in the context of the modern economy. The method used is normative juridical with a case study approach and literature analysis. The research results show that multy stakeholder cooperatives involve various stakeholders, including individuals, organizations, government, and the private sector, who collaborate to achieve common goals. This model not only increases product competitiveness but also strengthens social networks among members. However, challenges such as differences in interests and efficient management of resources need to be overcome to ensure the survival of cooperatives.

Abstract

Risk control management in an effort to reduce Non-Performing Loans (NPL) in the Sumedang Regency Savings and Loans Cooperative (KSP) was carried out for two days involving 30 participants from 15 cooperatives. This activity aims to increase the understanding and skills of KSP administrators in managing risks that can affect the financial health of cooperatives. The training, which was guided by Udin Hidayat as trainer and Dadan Hamdani as material writer, used learning methods that included theory, practice and group discussions. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of risk management, with the average pre-test score increasing from 60% to 85% after the training. Participants succeeded in developing several risk mitigation strategies, such as improving the credit selection process and developing financial education programs for cooperative members. Feedback from participants shows that this training is very relevant and useful for KSP management. Based on the results of the training, it is recommended that KSP carry out follow-up actions through regular mentoring and evaluation sessions to ensure the implementation of the strategies that have been prepared. Apart from that, the development of continuing education programs for cooperative members is also highly recommended to increase awareness of financial responsibility. Thus, it is hoped that this training can contribute to reducing NPLs and improving the financial health of KSPs in Sumedang Regency in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This community service activity aims to enhance environmental awareness and human resource capacity through the socialization of ecoenzyme as a natural solution for environmental cleanliness. The activity was conducted in Bontang Kuala Village, North Bontang District, with a focus on the production and utilization of ecoenzyme as an eco-friendly solution. The methods used consisted of three main stages: preparation of materials and tools for making ecoenzyme, presentation of the importance of environmental cleanliness, and hands-on practice of ecoenzyme production. The results of this activity showed an increase in community understanding of environmental cleanliness and the potential use of ecoenzyme in daily life. Participants were able to independently practice making ecoenzyme and are expected to apply it to maintain environmental cleanliness in Bontang Kuala Village.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the competence of high school physics teachers in East Kalimantan in using the Video Tracker software to support physics experiments. A total of 20 physics teachers participated with very high enthusiasm. The methods used in this activity included the Lecture Method, where participants were introduced to the basic theories and concepts of motion that can be analyzed using Video Tracker, the Demonstration Method, where the direct application of the software was shown to the participants, and the Assistance Method, where participants were guided step-by-step in conducting physics experiment simulations using Video Tracker. The results showed that teachers improved their skills in analyzing motion data using technology, which is expected to enrich the teaching process of physics in schools.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam sektor pertanian biofarmaka di Indonesia saat ini mencakup beberapa aspek penting yang menghambat perkembangan dan produktivitasnya. Salah satu masalah utama adalah kurangnya infrastruktur dan akses terhadap teknologi pertanian modern. Banyak petani masih menggunakan metode tradisional karena keterbatasan teknologi. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, dikembangkanlah FocketFarm, sebuah platform edukasi berbasis web untuk pertanian greenhouse. Tujuannya adalah memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis dalam pertanian greenhouse kepada pengguna. Pengguna FocketFarm dapat memperoleh informasi tentang teknik bertani, perawatan tanaman, pengelolaan sumber daya, dan praktik-praktik pertanian yang berkelanjutan. Untuk mengembangkan website FocketFarm, yaitu dengan menggunakan metode Framework for the Application of System Thinking (FAST) tujuan nya adalah untuk menyusun desain sistem secara lebih efisien dan sesuai dengan tujuan yang ditetapkan. Webste FocketFarm dapat memperoleh informasi tentang teknik bertani di dalam greenhouse, perawatan tanaman, pengelolaan sumber daya, dan praktik-praktik pertanian yang berkelanjutan. Dengan antarmuka yang mudah digunakan, FocketFarm memungkinkan akses yang intuitif bagi pengguna dari latar belakang yang beragam. Dengan demikian, FocketFarm berfungsi sebagai alat efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam pertanian greenhouse melalui platform web yang mudah diakses   Abstract  Chess has been estimated to have around 1043 possible positions. This number surpasses the computing ability of any computer available, therefore, building a chess engine that considers every possible position is deemed impractical. Currently, the use of neural network in chess engine development is on the rise and has been delivering promising results since the introduction of Google DeepMind’s AlphaZero in 2017. This research aims to bring a new potential approach to the field of neural network based chess engine development by introducing Deeplefish chess engine that uses a Long Short Term Memory (LSTM) model as move generator. Trained on more than 57.000 games broken down into more than 1.200.000 positions, the model is trained to predict the next move played by white for a given sequence of moves. The model achieved a loss of 3.01 and an Average Centipawn Loss (ACPL) of 219 on the validation set. Deeplefish achieved 2 wins, 72 losses, and 10 draws on the testing, showing a lack of board and contextual awareness. This unsatisfactory results are likely due to the subjectivity of the data to the player’s way of thinking, resulting in lack of significant move pattern to be learned by the model.
