Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses safety regulations during the welding process to reduce the risk of workplace accidents, long-term health consequences, and improve the quality of finished products. The study examines various international safety regulations, practical safety measures, and incidents involving welding. An important first step in increasing employee awareness and understanding of the potential risks that may arise during the welding process is safety socialization. Risks associated with welding include exposure to UV light, hazardous gases, sparks and high temperatures, which, if not managed appropriately, can jeopardize worker health and safety. Therefore, to ensure the best possible implementation of occupational safety standards, organized teaching initiatives through outreach are required. Personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, handling of dangerous goods, risk mitigation and emergency response training are examples of socialization activities. A thorough understanding of welding safety is believed to reduce the number of workplace accidents, increase output, and make the workplace safer. This community service focuses on conducting welding and work safety training for home welding workshop businesses in Balak Village, Songgon District, Banyuwangi Regency. The application of safety standards to the welding process aims to evaluate the effectiveness of welding safety socialization in improving workers' compliance with safety procedures, while providing recommendations for optimizing future training programs.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Desa Toyomarto merupakan desa yang terletak di kaki Gunung Arjuno, desa ini menyimpan kekayaan alam dan budaya yang melimpah. Berbagai macam peninggalan sejarah menarik seperti Candi Sumberawan dan Stupa Sumberawan menjadi bukti kejayaan masa lampau. Potensi ini mendorong pengembangan Desa Toyomarto sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis warisan dan ekologi. Tujuan : Penelitian ini mengevaluasi kondisi sosio-ekonomi dan partisipasi masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan aset alam dan sosial. Metode : Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan melalui pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data riset dilakukan melalui desk study dengan menggunakan sumber yang kredibel dan in-depth interview kepada informan. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Hasilnya penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sinergi antara masyarakat dan pemerintah lokal, serta pemberdayaan potensi lokal, menjadi kunci utama. Konsep eco-heritage based community dan strategic planning action diajukan sebagai strategi resiliensi. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya tarik wisatawan, sekaligus memberikan manfaat ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya yang berkelanjutan bagi Desa Toyomarto. Kesimpulan : Melalui kolaborasi dan integrasi tersebut, Desa Toyomarto dapat menjelma menjadi destinasi wisata yang mempesona, menjaga kelestarian alam dan budaya, serta memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat setempat. Hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan yang berfokus pada keseimbangan antara ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Given Indonesia's growing population and economic development, the country is experiencing a greater need for fuel. There are now a number of alternative fuels available to lessen the ongoing need on fuel oil. One of the most affordable, cleaner, and readily available fuels worldwide is liquefied petroleum gas, or LPG. The geometric design of the burner, the flow dynamics contained in the non-premix flame flow structure and its function to stabilize the combustion process play an important role in the mixing process between fuel and air. The purpose of this research is to ascertain how nozzle thread changes affect the flame characteristics of burning LPG (liquified petroleum gas) fuel. In order to create an effective and efficient burner design, thread variations can be used to establish the properties of the diffusion combustion flame, such as flame stability and combustion temperature. Abstract

Abstract – Clean water is one of the things needed in the community because it is an important factor in the sustainability of living things. The community needs clean water that is suitable for consumption to minimize the presence of diseases that have an impact on the community. Because we as a society must maintain springs to maintain water quality. Abstract

The implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile is one of the efforts that can improve the quality of education in Indonesia. To improve the profile values of students of SMKN Darul Ulum Muncar, efforts to strengthen student profiles by planting mangroves at Pondok Asem Beach, Tegaldlimo District. The mangrove planting carried out will increase concern for the surrounding environment and students will learn to know how important it is to maintain natural resources. Mangrove planting is carried out by perhutani and students of SMKN Darul Ulum Muncar. The results of the activity can foster the enthusiasm of students to maintain the coastal ecosystem.

Abstract

KKN is activities carried out by students to integrate academic learning with practical experience in the field. Students who undergo KKN will socialize with the surrounding community, identify problems that occur at the KKN location, and find solutions that are relevant to these problems. The results of problem identification by students in Bungatan Village were the lack of public concern for environmental cleanliness and the absence of a Garbage Disposal Site. For this reason, group 160 KKN students stationed in Bungatan Village held a socialization activity on Bungatan Can Clean from Garbage (Busa-Busa). The activity aims to provide knowledge to the Bungatan Village Community regarding the types of waste, how to manage it, and invite all elements of the village apparatus to hold TPS and waste management from TPS to TPA. After this activity, it is hoped that the Bungatan Village Community will become more concerned with the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The problem of waste and used oil waste is a serious challenge in environmental management. Waste that is not managed properly can pollute the environment, while used oil that is disposed of carelessly has the potential to pollute soil and water. This research aims to design and test a used oil-fueled garbage burner as a solution in reducing environmental impacts. The research method used is the experimental method, which includes designing, manufacturing, and testing the burner. Tests were conducted to measure combustion efficiency, fuel consumption, and exhaust emissions. Data were collected through direct observation and quantitative analysis using a gas analyzer to measure the levels of CO, CO₂, SO₂, NOx, and particulates produced. The results show that this device is able to burn waste more efficiently than conventional methods. The use of used oil as an alternative fuel also helps reduce oil waste that is harmful to the environment. However, although the burner significantly reduced the volume of waste, the exhaust gas analysis showed that improvements in the emission filtering system are still needed to minimize the impact of air pollution. In conclusion, the used oil-fueled waste burner can be an innovative solution in waste and waste oil management, but it needs further development to improve its environmentally friendly aspects. The recommendation of this research is the implementation of an exhaust gas filtration system as well as further testing to adapt the appliance to applicable environmental standards.

Abstract

Salah satu  modifikasi  yang  dilakukan pada pesawat untuk digunakan pada perairan yang sering kali melibatkan pemasangan Float sebagai pengganti landing  gear konvensional adalah seaplane. Namun, pemasangan Float pada seaplane juga dapat mempengaruhi karakteristik aerodinamik pesawat, khususnya hambatan (drag) yang dialami selama penerbangan sehingga menjadi masalah terhadap performa kinerja seaplane. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini akan menganalisis hambatan air pada Cessna 172SP dengan Float tambahan menggunakan aplikasi Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) pada pesawat laut atau pesawat amfibi yang difokuskan untuk melihat bagaimana fluida (air dan udara) berinteraksi dengan permukaan pesawat yang mencakup analisis struktur hidrodinamika dan aerodinamika. Hasil analisis hambatan air pada Float pesawat Cessna 172 SP menunjukkan bahwa hambatan aerodinamik dan hambatan air berdampak pada kinerja pesawat terutama pada konsumsi bahan bakar, kecepatan terbang, dan kemampuan manuver.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the avgas-ethanol fuel mixture on the fuel spray temperature. The research was carried out using a pressurized tube which was sprayed into the mock up which was assumed to be an aircraft combustion chamber with a pressure of 2 bar and a distance of 7,73 cm which would later be sprayed using pure avgas, a mixture of avgas and ethanol namely A80E20 and A60E40 then added with a temperature sensor at the end nozzle, center of jet, and impact wall. The spray temperature can result in incomplete combustion and result in higher exhaust emissions and also damage to the engine if it does not match the temperature capacity of the combustion chamber walls. The spray temperature results for the A60E40 fuel mixture are the lowest temperature, namely 25o-18.2oC and knowing that the more fuel is mixed, the lower the temperature of the fuel.
