Abstract

Radical attitudes not only occur in society but also spread to education, this is because of the many cases of radicalism committed by teachers to their students or between students, so that moderation becomes important to be instilled in students from an early age, this study attempts to explore whether Education at SMPN 1 Sampang and SMPN 1 Tlanakan contains the values ​​of religious moderation in the PAI-BP textbooks that are taught as well as in order to find out the strategy for internalizing the values ​​of religious moderation carried out by PAI teachers. This study is a field research with a qualitative approach, that all forms of data in this study will be attached in the form of words. Primary data sources are taken from people who have specifically experienced the objects studied, including the principal, teachers and students, while the primary data sources in this study are supporting data in the form of literature, field notes or other supporting documents. Data collection in this study includes interviews, observations and documentation. After the data is collected, an analysis and checking of the validity of the data will be carried out by means of 1) consistency of observation and triangulation. The results of this study are: 1) The PAI-BP book at SMPN 1 Sampang and SMPN 1 Tlanakan schools contains material on religious moderation with details of three materials explaining directly and two materials being integrated. 2) The way teachers internalize the value of religious moderation is by providing equal rights and opportunities in learning, then using moderate language (from infidels to non-Muslims), and treating students in subtle ways. This study can contribute to institutions as a form of reference in internalizing the value of religious moderation to students through the methods offered in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine habituation patterns in shaping students' tolerance attitudes in the school environment as part of character education efforts. Habituation or habituation is an effective method in instilling the values of tolerance through activities that are carried out regularly, consistently, and in a directed manner. To answer this problem, research is carried out with a qualitative approach, a type of case study research with a multi-site design. The research location was chosen by MAN Samapang and MAN 1 Pamekasan. Data collection was carried out by semi-structured interviews: school principals, curriculum leaders, teachers of religious beliefs and students. non-participant observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out in two stages: data condensation, data presentation and conclusion drawn. Checking the validity of data through credibility, transferability, dependability and objectivity tests. The results of his research are that the application of habituation patterns in MAN Sampang and MAN 1 Pamekasan is effective in forming students' altruistic character through routine activities such as welcoming students, ubudiyah activities, shadaqah, and Clean Friday. This activity instills the values of empathy, responsibility, discipline, and social concern, and is an important part of the character education strategy that is integrated into students' daily lives

Abstract

This study explores innovative deep learning-based personalized learning and the “Love Curriculum” at the Padepokan Kyai Mudrikah Kembang Kuning Islamic Boarding School in Pamekasan. The traditional educational paradigm is less adaptive to student heterogeneity, triggering the urgency for personalization. The deep learning model offers solutions for content adaptation and dynamic feedback, while the Curriculum of Love instills the values of monotheism. Through a case study, this research analyzes the implementation of these models. Data was collected from the director, teachers, and students through interviews, observations, and documentation, with data validity verified using pattern matching. The results show the systematic application of personalization, beginning with comprehensive diagnostic assessments for learning grouping and peer tutor empowerment. The learning philosophy of “joyful, conscious, meaningful” is emphasized with hands-on practices that foster spiritual empathy. All activities are based on the “unification curriculum” (monotheism). The seven pillars of Islamic Boarding School learning: one day one verse, one hadith one presentation, one week three languages, one student one laptop, one activity one paragraph, one week three fashl and one week three themes, integrate spirituality, language, literacy, and digital technology. This model develops student holistically: intellectually, spiritually, and characteristically, with the ultimate goal of monotheism.

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to create digital-based instructional materials for the Qur'an and Hadith and assess their impact on students' learning interests. Typically, Quran and Hadith classes are perceived as monotonous due to the limited involvement in the predominantly teacher-centered learning process. Consequently, students' enthusiasm for learning tends to diminish. Therefore, the development of instructional materials is pursued for this specific purpose. The research was conducted at MTs AL-Amien Jambu Lenteng Sumenep, focusing on 8th-grade students as the research subjects.Methods - The type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model: analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and evaluation. Findings - The research reveals that developing digital-based teaching materials for the Quran and Hadith involves analyzing instructional needs, and designing, developing, and evaluating the materials. Canva and Flipbook applications were used in the development, resulting in E-Book format materials. Expert validation yielded an 85% validation rate, with material experts providing an 87.5% validation rate. The average validity, combining both validators, was 86.94%. Following this, a trial was conducted, and students evaluated the materials through a questionnaire, achieving an 88.33% satisfaction rate.Research Implications - Based on these findings, the development of digital-based teaching materials for the subjects of Quran and Hadith has proven to be highly beneficial in enhancing the learning interest of 8th-grade students at MTs Al Amien Jambu. The implication is that students are enthusiastic about learning and highly engaged in the learning process, leading to the achievement of learning objectives.

Abstract

Mind mapping-based teaching materials are a development of the PAI learning process as a teaching material product aimed at assisting students with efforts to motivate and make it easier for students to know and understand PAI subject matter. Researchers use development research or Research and Development (R&D). The research design uses the ADDIE instructional model as a teaching process including several stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the research on the feasibility of teaching materials based on material experts, have been categorized as feasible from the assessment of material experts obtained 90% classified as very valid, which can be used as teaching materials. Meanwhile, the feasibility of teaching materials based on teaching material experts obtained 75% is quite valid, which can be used as teaching material during the teaching and learning process. Then, supported by the feasibility of teaching materials based on student assessment, it is classified as adequate or feasible to use, it can be seen based on the percentage obtained by the answer "yes" 90%. Furthermore, mind mapping-based PAI teaching materials are uploaded via the YouTube platform so that students can access them without being limited by time and place. Thus, it can facilitate students in learning PAI material to perfect religion through Hajj and Umrah and can increase student learning motivation. It can be seen from the questionnaire percentage number is 90%, classified based on the level of practicality is very practical.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar digital berbasis video pembelajaran interaktif mata pelajaran fikih. Bahan ajar dikembangkan agar siswa semangat dalam belajar sehingga termotivasi dan mudah memahami materi yang disampaikan. Siswa diharapkan memiliki antusias dan berperan aktif saat proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Alessi dan Trollip yang memiliki tiga tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, desain, dan pengembangan. Bahan ajar digital yang dihasilkan berupa video pembelajaran interaktif pada materi shalat sunah muakad dan shalat sunah ghoiru muakad. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII MTs Al-Ula I dan yang menjadi sampel adalah siswa kelas VII D. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan ialah validasi yang dilakukan oleh dua validator yaitu ahli materi dan ahli bahan ajar. Selain itu, juga menggunakan angket untuk uji coba produk terhadap siswa. Sedangkan analisis datanya ialah analisis deskriptif kualitatif mengolah data hasil review ahli materi dan ahli bahan ajar dan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan mengolah data yang diperoleh melalui angket dalam bentuk deskriptif presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran serta dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to explore (1) how State Primary School Patereman 2 utilizes local culture as a medium to instill Islamic educational values, and (2) how the process of internalizing Islamic values occurs through Madurese local cultural habituation. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research involved religious teachers, community religious leaders, students participating in kompolan activities, and parents. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the pattern-matching technique with methodological and source triangulation for validity. The findings reveal that kompolan, a distinctive Madurese religious cultural practice, effectively serves as a vehicle for the internalization of Islamic values among students. The process of habituation creates repeated interactions between learners and the local religious environment, enabling the formation of a religious habitus as explained by Bourdieu’s theory of habitus, capital, and field. This study contributes to the understanding of how ethnopedagogical practices grounded in local culture can strengthen Islamic character education in elementary schools. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi (1) bagaimana SD Negeri Patereman 2 memanfaatkan budaya lokal sebagai media penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam, dan (2) bagaimana proses internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam berlangsung melalui habituasi budaya lokal Madura. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru pendidikan agama Islam, tokoh agama, siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan kompolan, dan orang tua siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik pattern matching serta triangulasi metode dan sumber untuk menguji validitas data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompolan, sebagai praktik budaya religius khas masyarakat Madura, terbukti efektif menjadi sarana internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam pada siswa. Proses habituasi menciptakan interaksi berulang antara peserta didik dan lingkungan religius lokal, sehingga terbentuk habitus religius sebagaimana dijelaskan oleh teori Bourdieu tentang habitus, modal, dan ranah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman tentang bagaimana praktik etnopedagogis berbasis budaya lokal dapat memperkuat pendidikan karakter Islam di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The conceptualization of Islamic Studies as a discipline that is developing progressively within academic discourse and socio-religious practice. Islamic studies are essentially not only oriented toward normative-theological understanding, but also require engagement with historical, philosophical, and socio-humanities approaches to provide a comprehensive picture of the dynamics of Islamic scholarship. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to comprehensively examine the epistemology and methodology of Islamic studies in contemporary academic discourse. Furthermore, developments in globalization, modernization, and socio-political change have influenced the direction and methods of Islamic studies, thus demanding flexibility and openness in developing conceptual frameworks. The research findings emphasize that Islamic studies cannot be understood in a singular sense, but rather as an open, critical, and transformative intellectual field. The conceptualization offered in this article emphasizes the importance of strengthening the epistemological, methodological, and social relevance aspects of Islamic studies, so that it remains adaptive and contributing to addressing the challenges of the times. Thus, Islamic studies can continue to develop as a discipline that not only maintains religious authenticity but is also relevant in the context of modern science and the needs of global society
