Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pandangan ayah mengenai pendidikan seks untuk anak, mengetahui peran ayah dalam menerapkan pendidikan seks kepada anak, dan untuk mengetahui hambatan apa saja yang dialami ayah saat memberikan pendidikan seks kepada anaknya. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dengan tiga orang responden. Adapun hasil temuan di lapangan sebagai berikut: persepsi responden mengenai pendidikan seks bahwa pendidikan seks untuk anak usia dini merupakan proses mengenalkan bagian tubuh yang boleh disentuh orang lain dan tidak boleh. Hambatan yang dialami ketiga responden dalam menerapkan pendidikan seks seperti merasa canggung saat membicarakan pendidikan seks kepada anaknya dan kekurangan informasi mengenai pendidikan seks sehingga kurang maksimal saat menerapkan kepada anaknya serta cara responden mengatasi hambatan tersebut dengan cara mencari informasi lebih mendalam mengenai pendidikan seks untuk anak dan melawan rasa canggung. Ayah yang berperan dalam pengasuhan dan pendidikan seks anak akan membuat anak merasa aman, nyaman, dan tidak kehilangan sosok ayah saat tumbuh dewasa. Dengan mengajarkan pendidikan seks pada anak, diharapkan dapat menghindarkan anak dari risiko negatif perilaku seksual maupun perilaku menyimpang.

Abstract

This research aims to identify problem-solving profile ability in an early-aged child using the project-based learning in kindergarten. Methods used in this research is through collaborative classroom action research.This research was done in 3 (three) kindergarten in Cimahi. The technique used to collect data was done through semi-structured observation technique of 1 (one) class from each kindergarten to discover children's problem-solving ability.Furthermore, 6 (six) teachers were interviewed to identify children's problem-solving ability and to discover the learning process using the project-based learning.Whereas the data analysis used in this research is thematic data analysis technique. Moreover, the next step is to construct the problem-solving profile ability in an early-aged child. Based on the research outcome, it is clear that children's problem-solving profile ability with the project-based learning is relatively well. Most of the problem-solving ability indicator can be met, such as the observing ability using their own senses and the ability to communicate, even though stimulus and motivation to ask and answer questions from the teachers are still needed. Keywords: Problem Solving Skills, Learning Project, Early Childhood Education Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran proyek di taman kanak-kanak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah collaborative classroom action research. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di tiga TK di Kota Cimahi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi semi terstruktur terhadap 1 (satu) kelas masing-masing TK untuk mengetahui keterampilan pemecahan masalah yang dimilikinya. Selain itu dilakukan wawancara terhadap 6 (enam) orang guru selain untuk mengetahui keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak dan untuk mengetahui proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran proyek. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis data tematik, dan langkah selanjutnya menyusun profil keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa profil keterampilan pemecahan masalah anak dengan pembelajaran proyek rata-rata berada pada kategori baik. Sebagian besar indikator keterampilan pemecahan masalah dapat dipenuhi dengan baik, hal ini terlihat dari indikator keterampilan mengamati anak sudah mampu melakukann pengamatan dengan menggunakan inderanya dengan baik, begitu pula pada indikator keterampilan mengumpulkan informasi dan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan, akan tetapi masih perlu stimulus dan motivasi untuk lebih berani bertanya ataupun menjawab pertanyaan dari guru Kata kunci: Keterampilan Pemecahan Masalah, Pembelajaran Proyek, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to develop a learning environment design that integrates indoor and outdoor playground to optimize multiple intelligences. Background research is the low ability of multiple intelligences of early childhood. The research approach uses research and development. Develop some of the intelligence needed to support the indoor learning environment and outdoor playground. Through the design of the learning environment setting indoor and outdoor playground to optimize multiple intelligences of early childhood. The implementation of main learning environments to develop multiple intelligences in early childhood education institutions. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengembangkan desain lingkungan belajar indoor dan outdoor playground terintegrasi untuk mengoptimalisasi multiple intelligences anak usia dini. Latar belakang penelitian adalah rendahnya kemampuan multiple intellegences anak usia dini. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Pengembangkan instrumen multiple intelligences diperlukan untuk mendukung pengaturan lingkungan belajar indoor dan outdoor playground. Melalui rancangan seting lingkungan belajar indoor dan outdoor playground untuk mengoptimalisasi multiple intelligences anak usia dini berdasarkan tahapan pengembangan. Implementasi rancangan lingkungan belajar indoor dan outdoor playground terintegrasi untuk mengembangkan multiple intelligences anak di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain why the transition must be researched, comprehended, and included in the Early Childhood Education (ECE) level. In the early childhood education, we need to perceive that involvement, collaboration, and communication between children, families, schools, and community are important factors that will strengthen the transition towards a positive direction in helping children to go to school and encourage them in passing through the transition to Elementary School. Fundamentally a child's growth is influenced by child development aspects which include religious, moral values, physical and motor, cognitive, social-emotional, language and art that has become the basis of every development in learning programs that will be carried out at the level of Early Childhood and Elementary Education. By applying the literature review method, this article aims to gain a holistic apprehension from various perspectives on the significance of transition in Early Childhood Education. The aim of the transition in Early Childhood Education is none other than to help children develop the basic potential that has already existed inside them, not only for increasing children's knowledge and independence but also their apprehension which will later support each other in preparing themselves for Primary level

Abstract

Character values are believed to be solid roots in supporting the integrity of the nation and state. The collapse of a country is resulted by the weakening of the character's values in the life of the people. The Ministry of National Education implements character education at all levels of education, including in Early Childhood Education. Developing Children”s characters is an obligation on us all, including parents and teacher. Parents are the primary educators of character, but empirically research shows that all adults who have contact with their children need to contribute to such education, especially their children’s teachers. School has more influence later than parenting because of parents are much more emotionally salient in the first years of life, and many children do not experience full or even paart-time schooling until they are three, four or five years of age, when many aspect of character are already developing. In kindergarten, teacher can develop some values of character through learning, such as construction activities in a group and dramatic play. Construction activities involves manipulating one or multiple elements of the play environmet to construct something new. Dramatic play can be defined as a type of play where children accept and assign roles, and then act them out. In dramatic play, children negotiate and refine their growing understanding by consulting with other children and the teacher. Therefore, through construction activities and dramatic play, teacher can develop some values character such as discipline, tolerance, self-confidence, self-reliance, creative, helping others, cooperation, responsibility, hard-working and leadership

Abstract

Digital media is very closely related to life, making its role very important in building life's culture. The role of digital media also affects the style or method of carrying out learning. Therefore, there needs to be an exploratory study in looking at learning using digital media. The purpose of the research is to decrypt the role of digital media in influencing prospective educators' learning styles (students) and explore prospective educators (students) to face learning in the digital age. This research method phenomenology. The subject of study is educational students or prospective educators. Data collection is conducted by open survey and questionnaire methods. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and qualitative data analysis was performed by reducing data, looking for relationships between themes and levers. The results showed that the digital media's role is vast in building the learning style of prospective teachers. The role is shown with ease of access obtained by prospective teachers and many resources that reference knowledge development. Besides, it turns out that prospective educators can analyze/vaccinate the learning process using digital media. This shows that prospective teachers are ready to face the challenges of learning in the digital age and can make a breakthrough in learning in the digital age

Abstract

Penularan virus COVID-19 di Indonesia meningkat seiring dengan adanya varian terbaru yaitu “Omicron”. Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) terbukti efektif dalam mencegah penyebaran penularan virus COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi orang tua dalam membiasakan PHBS anak usia dini pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus terhadap tiga partisipan penelitian, yaitu tiga orang ibu yang memiliki anak berusia 5-6 tahun. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik wawancara, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis tematik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi orang tua dalam membiasakan PHBS belum optimal pada aspek mencuci tangan sebelum dan sesudah makan, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, mengonsumsi buah dan sayur. Strategi yang dilakukan orang tua dalam membiasakan PHBS sekedar mengingatkan tanpa melibatkan anak untuk bernegosiasi dan pengambilan keputusan tentang kebutuhan PHBS anak, sehingga anak belum memahami manfaat, dampak serta tujuan dari PHBS bagi kesehatannya. Orang tua dapat menggunakan metode gerak dan lagu serta media digital seperti video animasi film 3D dalam membiasakan PHBS kepada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Education must be able to adapt and develop according to the times. Now we are treading the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, known as the era of digitalization in various sectors of life, including the education sector. The influence that occurs, among others, in digital literacy skills. Smartphone penetration of Indonesia's population is quite large. This service is a development of the research that has been done on critical awareness and pedagogic competence. The pedagogic competence of educators in Indramayu district from the report from the Ministry of Education and Culture is still at a score of 52, and is ranked 20th in Indonesia. This activity is a solution that can be offered. Through the development of critical pedagogic competencies of digital-based educators and the use of big data, it is hoped that an effective education and mentoring can be created. The method of community service through descriptive studies using a qualitative approach by revealing data based on the research formulation questions, namely how to implement critical pedagogics based on digital learning and big data to improve educators' digital literacy? the training system is carried out using an e-course platform. Participants who receive further information register online and log in to access content, discuss with other participants and work on the learning evaluation that has been provided. From the results of these activities, 70% of the 223 participants were able to answer the questions correctly.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak usia dini melalui pembelajaran kooperatif make a match. Subyek penelitian adalah anak-anak Taman Kanak-kanak Islam kelompok B tahun ajaran 2018-2019 yang berjumlah 15 anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan kecerdasan interpersonal anak yang dilihat dari peningkatan rata-rata persentase dari siklus I sebesar 54,40%, mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 60,33%, dan kembali meningkat pada siklus III menjadi 78,23%. Penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif make a match dapat mengembangkan kecerdasan interpersonal anak kelompok B Taman Kanak-kanak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data profil minat siswa SMA Kelas XII Kecamatan Sukasari Kota Bandung terhadap program Studi S1 PGPAUD FIP UPI yang juga ditelaah berdasarkan status sekolah, jenis kelamin, dan jurusan di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah  survei cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan seluruh siswa SMA Kelas XII se-Kecamatan Sukasari tahun ajaran 2014-2015 yang berjumlah 681, sedangkan sampel berjumlah 246 siswa dengan teknik disproportional stratified sampling. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan angket tertutup yang kemudian dianalisis dengan statistika deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 6,50% siswa di kecamatan tersebut yang berminat terhadap program studi PGPAUD FIP UPI. Dilihat berdasarkan status sekolah, siswa SMA Swasta yang berminat terhadap program studi ini sebesar 7,77% dan SMA Negeri 5,60%. Dilihat berdasarkan jenis kelamin, 8,87% siswa perempuan berminat terhadap program studi ini sedangkan laki-laki sebesar 4,92%. Dilihat berdasarkan jurusan di SMA, siswa IPS memperoleh persentase minat sebesar 8,46% dan IPA 5,17%. Kata Kunci : Minat, PGPAUD, Siswa SMAABSTRACTThe study aimed at identifying the interest of twelfth grade senior high school students in Sukasari sub-district, the City of Bandung, in the undergraduate study program of PGPAUD FIP UPI, as examined against school status, gender, and specialization. The method in use was cross sectional survey. The population of this research was 681 twelfth grade senior high school students from all over Sukasari sub-district during the school year of 2014-2015, and 246 students were taken as the sample by using with disproportional stratified sampling technique. The data were collected by means of close-ended questionnaires that were then analyzed using descriptive statistic. The findings  show that 6.50% of the students in the area were interested in the Study Program of PGPAUD FIP UPI. In terms of school status, the percentages for private and public senior high school students interested in this study program were 7.77% and 5.60%, respectively. In terms of gender, the percentages of female and male students interested in this study program were 8.87% and 4.92%, respectively. With regard to specialization in senior high school, the percentages of social sciences and natural sciences students interested in the study program were 46% and 5.17%, respectively.  Keywords: Interest, early childhood teacher education, senior high school students
