Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi kini memasuki era Society 5.0. Kemajuan era Society 5.0 menunut guru untuk melakukan penyesuaian pembelajaran agar senantiasa sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan strategi pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru pendidikan anak usia dini menghadapi era Society 5.0. Subjek penelitian merupakan guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini di Bandung yang berjumlah tiga orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yakni deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan studi kasus dengan wawancara mendalam. Hasil wawancara kemudian ditranskrip dan dilakukan pengkodean. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru pendidikan anak usia dini dalam menghadapi era society 5.0 yakni menguasai perangkat digital untuk pembelajaran, senantiasa memperbaharui wawasan, melakukan pembelajaran  blended/hybrid, menggunakan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan secara daring maupun tatap muka, serta saat pembelajaran tatap muka guru perlu mengoptimalkan interaksi anak dan guru secara langsung. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan gambaran strategi yang perlu dilakukan guru pendidikan anak usia dini dalam menghadapi era society 5.0

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan keterampilan internet searching guru pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) selama pembelajaran daring. Subjek penelitian merupakan guru PAUD di Bandung yang berjumlah tiga orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuisioner, wawancara secara mendalam serta rekaman suara. Keterampilan internet searching terdiri dari penggunaan perangkat digital untuk pembelajaran, mengakses konten edukasi untuk pembelajaran, serta update aplikasi online PAUD. Penggunaan media digital untuk pembelajaran dirasakan seluruh partisipan menjadi lebih optimal semenjak pandemi. Mulanya perangkat digital hanya digunakan untuk memutar film atau musik di kelas, semenjak pandemi perangkat digital menjadi alat utama untuk menyajikan konten pembelajara rutin seperti video interaktif yang guru rekam dan edit sendiri, serta powerpoint yang disajikan dalam bentuk video menarik bagi anak yang selanjutnya dibagikan ke orang tua melalui whatsapp. Pada aspek keterampilan mengakses konten edukasi untuk membelajaran, guru menjadi lebih kritis terhadap materi yang diambil dan disajikan kepada anak. Pada aspek update aplikasi online PAUD seperti Data Pokok Pendidikan (DAPODIK) dan raport elektronik yang mulanya dirasa sangat sulit bagi guru, lambat laun guru menjadi terbiasa demi menyesuaikan dengan perkembangan yang terjadi.

Abstract

Pembelajaran di masa pandemi COVID19 melalui pembelajaran online dan belajar dari rumah menghadirkan beberapa tantangan dan risiko learning loss yang berdampak jangka panjang.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi Kepala TK dalam upaya mitigasi learning loss pada siswanya. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus terhadap tiga partisipan penelitian, yaitu kepala sekolah dengan latar belakang kondisi geografis yang berbeda-beda. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara. Data yang diperoleh, dianalisa menggunakan analisis tematik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan berbagai upaya mtigasi yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam mengatasi learning loss yaitu mendaftarkan sebagai sekolah penggerak, home visit dan dan menjalin sinergi aktif warga sekolah. Sekolah melaksanakan pembelajaran intrakulikuler yang beragam, serta memberikan waktu pembelajaran yang cukup guna menguatkan konsep dan capaian perkembangan tiap anak. Home visit dilakukan untuk  memberikan pembelajaran tambahan pada anak serta mengadakan rapat bulanan. Pertemuan antar warga sekolah dimaksudkan untuk menjalin sinergitas pembelajaran dan mengkomunikasikan setiap permasalahan anak

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the family as a foundation of character for early childhood. The method of writing this article is systematic review. The references used in this paper are secondary data in the form of scientific articles searched through the Google Scholar electronic database. References in this study are limited to articles published in the last 10 years. Systematic review consists of three stages, namely identification, evaluation, and interpretation. Based on the identification, evaluation and interpretation, it can be concluded that the laying of character in the family is the core role of parents. Instilling character is the full responsibility of parents for their children, especially early childhood. Planting is important to do early on so that it becomes a habit and will shape the character of a child. Character building in early childhood can be done through advice and examples from parents. Furthermore, the child is guided so that he can practice the values ​​and make it a habit. The child's habits will become the child's character. Parenting style influences the child's character. Democratic parenting is a parenting style that is suitable for instilling character in children

Abstract

Today the development of information and communication technology is increasingly rapid in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in Indonesia. This era is also known as the disruptive era, where information is abundant and easily accessible to almost all groups. However, the development of information and communication technology has not been matched by the digital literacy of the people. Referring to the Global World Digital Competitiveness Index data, Indonesia is ranked 56th out of 63 countries. Even though Indonesia is a large number of internet users, namely 171 million people, its digital literacy is far behind. This fact also correlates with the role of PAUD teachers as educators who facilitate the growth and development of their students. PAUD teachers need to have good digital literacy as an effort to build broad insights so that it becomes a multiliterate learning resource for their students. Based on these problems, it is necessary to develop digital literacy for early childhood teachers, especially in Bandung. This community service aims to provide learning and guidance based on the Techno-pedagogy Approach. The target audience for this community service is PAUD teachers in Bandung. Through this digital-based service, it is expected to be able to provide a vehicle for flexible access to knowledge so that participants can focus more on learning the content provided. Besides, our long-term hope from this activity is to improve the digital literacy skills of early childhood educators which then have an impact in terms of teaching in class.

Abstract

The rapid development of the times has an impact on many aspects of life. The education aspect is no exception. Education in the digital era cannot be separated from the implementation of technology in learning. However, the rapid development of technology in Indonesia has not been in line with the development of the ability of educators to implement digital technology in the educational process. This service aims to improve the pedagogic competence of educators in the digital era. The method used in this service activity is through an e-course which has some content that can be accessed by participants within ten days. This service is carried out in the city of Cirebon, but access is opened for educators throughout Indonesia. The results of this activity illustrate that service activities through e-courses are quite effective in improving the competence of educators in the digital era. Of the 160 participants who accessed the learning process to completion, the final score was obtained with an average learning completeness of 85%

Abstract

The curriculum is a component in education that is used as a guideline for implementing a learning in any educational institution. Currently the early childhood curriculum that applies in TK Negeri Pembina Sukamara is the curriculum 2013, where the development of this curriculum is to improve the mindset, strengthening governance, deepening material, strengthening learning processes and adjusting learning load. The key to the success of a curriculum is inseparable from the role of the Principal and Teacher. The Principal acts as the leader who is responsible for all matters relating to the smooth running of the school, as well as the teacher's role to be able to convey learning that has been applied in the curriculum. This research uses qualitative case study research, which is the researcher conducts in-depth interviews with the principal, two teachers and one representative from the school committee. Based on the data found, TK Negeri Pembina Sukamara has developed and implemented the 2013 curriculum, from begining to do the analysis, document preparation, ratification and implementation of the curriculum 2013 Early childhood education in accordance with applicable references. As for the implementation there are several supporting factors such as the cooperation of all the teams in the school and adequate infrastructure, in addition to supporting factors there are also inhibiting factors, namely uneven and sustainable curriculum socialization resulting in a lack of teacher creativity.

Abstract

AbstractCritical thinking skills are a crucial aspect that needs to be instilled from an early age in the 21st-century era. This research aims to explore teacher communication strategies in facilitating the development of critical thinking skills in early childhood. The research method employed is qualitative, utilizing a literature review. Literature sources were obtained through the search for relevant research articles related to the presented topic. In conducting this literature review, a series of stages were undertaken, starting from the identification, screening, and eligibility processes, which are integral parts of this research. The analysis of the literature review reveals that the use of teacher communication strategies through the utilization of five language continua, including visually looking on, non-directive statements, questions, directive statements, and physical intervention, can create an environment where children can independently inquire, analyze, and evaluate information. This can effectively facilitate the development of critical thinking skills in early childhood. As a recommendation, the researcher suggests the necessity of teacher professionalism development in communication to facilitate critical thinking skills in early childhood. Further research is also recommended to evaluate the effectiveness of using the five language continua in enhancing critical thinking skills in early childhood.Keywords: early childhood education; critical thinking skills; teacher communication; 21st-century skillsAbstrakKeterampilan berpikir kritis merupakan aspek penting yang perlu ditanamkan sejak dini pada era abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi komunikasi guru dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan keterampilan ber-pikir kritis pada anak usia dini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan mengunakan literature review. Sumber literatur diperoleh melalui pencarian artikel penelitian yang relevan dengan topik yang akan disajikan. Dalam melaksanakan literature review ini, dilakukan serangkaian tahapan, mulai dari proses identification, screening dan eligibility sebagai bagian integral dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis dari literature review menjelaskan bahwa penggunaan strategi komunikasi guru dengan menggunakan lima kontinum bahasa, yang meliputi visually looking on, non-directive statement, question, directive statement, dan Physical Intervention, mampu menciptakan lingkungan di mana anak-anak dapat secara mandiri bertanya, menganalisis, dan mengevaluasi informasi. Hal ini dapat memfasilitasi pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada anak usia dini. Sebagai rekomendasi, peneliti menyarankan perlunya pengembangan profesionalisme guru dalam hal komunikasi untuk memfasilitasi keterampilan berpikir kritis pada anak usia dini, dan adanya penelitian lanjutan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penggunaan lima kontinum bahasa dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada anak usia dini.Kata kunci: pendidikan anak usia dini; keterampilan berpikir kritis; komunikasi guru; keterampilan abad-21

Abstract

The development of creativity is an educational demand in the 21st century. This writing aims to discuss briefly the implementation of long-project storytelling in early childhood education and its implications for developing children’s creativity. The method used is Early Child Research and Practice (ECRP) with data collection techniques through observation, documentation and field notes on teachers and children. The research was conducted at the Bunda Balita Playgroup, Bandung City. The long-project storytelling was conducted in three meetings. The researchers explored the theme of learning about houses and the sub-theme of learning about various forms of houses (fairy houses). The learning innovation conducted in the long-project storytelling method is by implementing the Reggio Emilia learning approach.  It shows learning activity by utilizing existing resources in the school environment. Through the long-project storytelling learning method, children experience an increased profile of language development. This can be seen when they can listen attentively to stories and answer the teacher’s questions enthusiastically. Researchers came up with creative ideas that emerged within children, including aspects of fluency, flexibility, originality, aspects of detail or elaboration, and aspects of working together in creativity (teamwork and creativity).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kompetensi pedagogik guru PAUD inklusi di Indonesia. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR), Metode pengumpulan data dikumpulkan melalui pencarian literatur berbasis data akademik utama seperti Google Scholar, Sinta, dan ERIC.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam pendidikan inklusi sudah memadai, namun masih ada kendala dalam penerapan metode pengajaran yang bervariasi dan pemahaman tentang karakteristik anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Kompetensi pedagogik guru PAUD di tingkat Taman Kanak-kanak (TK) sudah cukup baik, terutama dalam mengelola pembelajaran, pengembangan kurikulum, dan penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif. Meskipun demikian, peningkatan kompetensi guru secara berkelanjutan masih diperlukan, melalui pembinaan, pelatihan, serta perekrutan guru yang berkualifikasi. Penelitian ini juga mengungkap pentingnya indikator kompetensi pedagogik guru, seperti kemampuan dalam merancang kegiatan pengembangan anak, berkomunikasi efektif, serta memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Pengembangan keterampilan guru dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan inklusi, dapat ditingkatkan melalui pelatihan dan lokakarya
