Abstract

The occurrence of various social problems lately, especially in the field of education, especially moral issues in the world of education has become a problem in itself. This requires separate research to overcome these problems. This study aims to analyze the morals of teachers and students according to Ibn Jama'ah and KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, and comparing the thoughts of the two and then afterwards relevant to teacher competence that is common in Indonesian education today. The type of research used in this study is qualitative and the methods used include literature research methods, which produce data in the form of written words from analyzed data sources. This research also uses content analysis techniques in data processing. The primary data sources used are Kitab Tadzkiratu as-Sami wa al-Mutakallim by Ibn Jama'ah and Kitab adabu al-'Alim wa al-Muta'allim by KH. Hashim Ash'ari. While the secondary data sources are books or other references related to the moral statements of teachers and students. The similarity with the conclusions of other academics is the research method used, namely qualitative research methods. While the difference is in the results of the research, which may be due to differences in the material presented and the time of research. In conclusion, there are similarities between the moral concepts of teachers and students according to Ibn Jama'ah and KH. Hashim Ash'ari. While the difference between the thoughts of the two lies in the difference in diction and the existence of discussions that are only discussed in one of each of the books of both.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa pemikiran diantaranya: 1) Salah satu tujuan pendidikan yang paling utama adalah pembentukan pribadi yang berakhlak mulia; 2) Pendidikan selam ini bertumpu pada pemikiran-pemikiran dan teori barat, sementara dalam agama Islam sendiri memiliki rujukan yang sangat baik; 3) Pendidikan Islam mempunyai rujukan teladan pendidikan yang bersumber pada al-Qur’an, diantaranya adalah teladan pendidikan yang diajarkan oleh Lukman al Hakim kepada anaknya. Teladan pendidikan yang islami ini dianggap sangat cocok untuk diteladani oleh ummat Islam. Adapun tujuan daripada penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui ajaran-ajaran Lukman al Hakim mengenai hubungan antara seorang hamba dengan Tuhannya (hubungan vertikal) dan hubungan antara seorang hamba dengan sesamanya (hubungan horizontal), yang meliputi pendidikan akidah dan pendidikan moral/akhlak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah deskriptif-kualitatif. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian kualitatif diantaranya adalah dengan metode kajian pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Penulis menggunakan metode kepustkaan, yakni menggunakan cara untuk mendapatkan data atau informasi melalui fasilitas atau media yang berada di perpustakaan berupa dokumentasi, buku, dan catatan kisah sejarah. Adapun hasil daripada penulisan ini adalah bahwasanya ajaran-ajaran Lukman al Hakim terbagi menjadi dua, yakni ajaran/pesan hikmah hubungan seorang hamba dengan Tuhannya (hubungan vertikal) dan hubungan seorang hamba dengan antar sesamanya (hubungan horizontal). Hubungan vertikal berkaitan dengan ajaran pendidikan keimanan dan akidah, sedangkan hubungan horizontal berkaitan dengan ajaran pendidikan akhlak/moral.

Abstract

The development of science, culture and Islamic civilization, among others, is marked by the presence of a number of great scholars whose works can still be found easily to this day. In addition to writing various kinds of Islamic religious knowledge, such as interpretation, hadith and fiqh, the scholars also wrote books that discussed Arabic grammar and literature, namely nahwu, sharaf, balaghah, bayan, ma'ani and bade' sciences. Among the books that discuss the science of Arabic grammar is Ibn Malik's Alfiyah. This book is very popular among scholars and students at Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia in particular and in the world in general. Besides being read and understood, this book is also generally recited before the fardlu prayer, and memorized. One of the reasons is because everyone who wants to study religion is required to master grammar with its various branches as a tool to understand various Arabic literature, hereinafter referred to as the Yellow Book (because the paper is yellow), or the Gundul Book (because the writing does not use signs). read). By using authoritative library data, this paper will further explore the intellectual tradition practiced by Ibn Malik through his work Alfiyah. This paper begins by presenting a brief biography of the author of the Alfiyah book, its contents, the intellectual tradition that he adheres to, as well as the winged meaning of several stanzas contained in the book.

Abstract

Metode penelitian yang dapat digunakan untuk membandingkan konsep pendidikan Ibn Sina (Avicenna) dan Jean Piaget tentang perkembangan kognitif dan pertumbuhan peserta didik dapat mencakup pendekatan perbandingan filosofis dan psikologis. Pendekatan perbandingan filosofis akan mencari kesamaan dan perbedaan dalam pandangan Ibn Sina dan Piaget tentang konsep pendidikan. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis karya-karya keduanya yang relevan dengan pendidikan, mencari titik-titik persamaan dalam pandangan mereka mengenai bagaimana peserta didik mengembangkan pemahaman, berpikir kritis, dan mencapai tahap perkembangan kognitif yang lebih tinggi. Di sisi lain, pendekatan perbandingan psikologis akan memfokuskan pada teori-teori perkembangan kognitif yang diusulkan oleh Ibn Sina dan Piaget. Penelitian ini akan memeriksa kesesuaian teori-teori ini dengan temuan-temuan ilmiah terkini dalam psikologi perkembangan kognitif. Metode penelitian ini mungkin melibatkan analisis konten terhadap tulisan-tulisan dan karya-karya ilmiah keduanya, serta mungkin juga melibatkan studi kasus yang melibatkan peserta didik yang dipengaruhi oleh pandangan mereka. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan akan memberikan pemahaman lebih mendalam tentang pandangan Ibn Sina dan Jean Piaget tentang pendidikan, serta bagaimana pandangan mereka memengaruhi perkembangan kognitif dan pertumbuhan peserta didik. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga dapat membantu dalam merancang pendekatan pendidikan yang lebih efektif dan relevan berdasarkan konsep-konsep dari kedua tokoh tersebut.

Abstract

Indonesia, with a majority Muslim population, presents consequences where Islamic teachings influence the life of the nation. As a religion that is perfect (al-kamilah), comprehensive (al-syamilah), balanced (al-tawazun) and moderate (al-tasawuth), Islam includes religious (al-diniyah) and worldly (al-muamalah) aspects, which complement each other. In the development of worldly aspects, Islam encourages cultures based on its teachings, creating interaction and healthy competition (fastabiqul khairat) with other cultures, such as Greece, China, India and Persia. This process is also seen in Indonesia, a pluralistic country with diverse cultures and customs. The relationship between Islam and local culture often results in harmony, assimilation or tension, as in West Sumatra during the pre-independence period. This paper, drawing on the Qur'an, Hadith, Islamic cultural history and scholarly observation, explores the prominence of Islamic culture, particularly in the arts, and its impact in Indonesia. The findings are relevant for building a more advanced future for Islam and Indonesia, based on the harmony between Islamic teachings and the characteristics of Indonesia's pluralistic society. Abstrak Indonesia, dengan mayoritas penduduk Muslim, menghadirkan konsekuensi di mana ajaran Islam memengaruhi kehidupan bangsa. Sebagai agama yang sempurna (al-kamilah), komprehensif (al-syamilah), seimbang (al-tawazun), dan moderat (al-tasawuth), Islam mencakup aspek keagamaan (al-diniyah) dan duniawi (al-muamalah), yang saling melengkapi. Dalam pengembangan aspek duniawi, Islam mendorong kebudayaan yang berbasis ajarannya, menciptakan interaksi dan kompetisi sehat (fastabiqul khairat) dengan kebudayaan lain, seperti Yunani, Cina, India, dan Persia. Proses ini juga terlihat di Indonesia, negara pluralistik dengan beragam budaya dan adat istiadat. Hubungan antara Islam dan budaya lokal sering menghasilkan harmoni, asimilasi, maupun ketegangan, seperti di Sumatera Barat pada masa pra-kemerdekaan. Makalah ini, dengan sumber al-Qur'an, Hadis, sejarah kebudayaan Islam, dan pengamatan ilmiah, mengeksplorasi keunggulan kebudayaan Islam, khususnya di bidang seni, serta dampaknya di Indonesia. Temuan ini relevan untuk membangun masa depan Islam dan Indonesia yang lebih maju, berlandaskan harmoni antara ajaran Islam dan karakteristik masyarakat pluralistik Indonesia.

Abstract

This article analyzes the curriculum transformation in Indonesia, focusing on the transition from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum. Designed to simplify educational content structure, the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes character education and practical skills development to prepare students for the challenges of globalization and the industrial revolution 4.0. Through a thematic approach and focus on essential materials, the Merdeka Curriculum aims to reduce academic burdens, promote teaching innovation, and strengthen collaboration between schools, homes, and communities. The article also discusses the challenges of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum, particularly in changing teaching paradigms among teachers and educators. This study highlights the importance of strong policy support, teacher competence improvement, and ongoing educational innovation to enhance education quality in Indonesia. AbstrakArtikel ini menganalisis perubahan kurikulum pendidikan di Indonesia, khususnya peralihan dari Kurikulum 2013 ke Kurikulum Merdeka. Kurikulum Merdeka dirancang untuk menyederhanakan struktur materi pembelajaran, menekankan pendidikan karakter, dan meningkatkan keterampilan praktis guna mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan era globalisasi dan revolusi industri 4.0. Dengan pendekatan tematik dan fokus pada materi esensial, Kurikulum Merdeka bertujuan untuk mengurangi beban akademis siswa, mendorong inovasi pengajaran, serta memperkuat kolaborasi antara sekolah, rumah, dan masyarakat. Artikel ini juga membahas tantangan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, terutama dalam mengubah paradigma pengajaran para guru dan tenaga pendidik. Kajian ini menyoroti pentingnya dukungan kebijakan yang kuat, peningkatan kompetensi guru, serta inovasi pendidikan yang berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose –This study aims to analyze the digital literacy competence of Islamic Education teachers at Al-Fath Cirendeu Junior High School, South Tangerang City State Junior High School 3, South Tangerang State Junior High School 6, and Darussalam Ciputat Junior High School. Design/methods/approach – This study used the phenomenological qualitative research method. Research data was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The participants in the study were eight Islamic Education teachers and four principals at Al-Fath Cirendeu Middle School, South Tangerang State Middle School 3, Darussalam Ciputat Middle School, and South Tangerang State Middle School 6. The data analysis used in this study was Saldana's Thematic Analysis. Findings – The finding of this dissertation is that the digital literacy competence of PAI teachers in four schools is still at the level of simple learning media users. The data in this study shows that the application of the digital literacy competence of PAI teachers is limited to ICT media users such as YouTube, PPT, Quizizz, Google Classroom, and Google Form which are used as learning media for preparation, delivering material, and learning assessment. Meanwhile, the creation of digital teaching materials has not been able to be done. Research implications/limitations – Practically, the results of the dissertation can provide input to Islamic Education teachers in four schools and Islamic Education teachers, practitioners and education policy makers (government) regarding the implementation of digital literacy competencies in learning and in developing a digital literacy competency model in learning that leads to sustainable curriculum development.

Abstract

This article discusses the development of madrasahs in the context of dynamic education policy. The focus of this research is the vision, mission, goals, curriculum, learning methods, management, and human resources in madrasah development. The literature analysis method is used to collect data from books and scientific journals that discuss madrasah development. An in-depth discussion of madrasah development is important to improve the quality of educational institutions in Indonesia. Education policy aims to achieve effective education goals. Madrasah as an educational institution has an extraordinary vision, mission, and goals, namely creating an Islamic, quality, populist, independent educational institution, and being able to produce students who are faithful, pious, noble, have personality, master science and technology, and contribute positively to social life. Good, structured and comprehensive curriculum, learning methods, management and human resources are important assets to achieve these goals. With proper implementation, the vision-mission and goals of education can be achieved, and madrasah can produce graduates who have optimal competence in the world of education and society. Abstrak         Artikel ini membahas perkembangan madrasah dalam konteks kebijakan pendidikan yang dinamis. Fokus penelitian ini adalah visi, misi, tujuan, kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, manajemen, dan sumber daya manusia dalam pengembangan madrasah. Metode analisis pustaka digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari buku dan jurnal ilmiah yang membahas pengembangan madrasah. Pembahasan mendalam tentang perkembangan madrasah menjadi penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia. Kebijakan pendidikan bertujuan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang efektif. Madrasah sebagai lembaga pendidikan memiliki visi, misi, dan tujuan yang luar biasa, yaitu menciptakan lembaga pendidikan yang islami, bermutu, populis, mandiri, dan mampu menghasilkan peserta didik yang beriman, bertakwa, berakhlak mulia, berke-pribadian, menguasai iptek, dan berkontribusi positif dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, manajemen, dan sumber daya manusia yang baik, terstruktur, dan komprehensif menjadi modal penting untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Dengan implementasi yang tepat, visi-misi dan tujuan pendidikan dapat tercapai, dan madrasah dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki kompetensi optimal dalam dunia pendidikan dan masyarakat

Abstract

This article is an exploration on socio-economic changes as the result of the advancement in science and technology in the era of globakation and their impact on the reformation of educational system of the pesantren. This article also tries to elicit ideas and concepts for the development of educational models for pesantren in the future as well as concepts and steps for the revitakation of education in pesantren in the era of globalization. The article starts with brief accounts of socio-economic changes, followed by description of the problems faced by pesantren in education, and ends with bringing up ideas and thoughts relating to the changes in the educational system of the pesantren.
