Abstract

Classroom Action Research is research conducted among teachers to solve a problem in the classroom in order to improve the quality of learning. This requires the role of the school principal to encourage teachers' abilities in conducting Classroom Action Research. This research aims to determine the ability of teachers to write Classroom Action Research, the school principal's efforts to improve teachers' writing skills in creating Classroom Action Research and to find out the inhibiting and supporting factors. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive nature. The subjects in this research were school principals and teachers at SD Negeri Ciduwet 2 Brebes Regency, using interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. Meanwhile, to analyze data by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. From this research, the results showed that the teacher's ability to write Class Action Research at SD Negeri Ciduwet 2 Brebes Regency was still low and the managerial work carried out by the principal at SD Negeri Ciduwet 2 Brebes Regency in improving the teacher's ability to write Class Action Research had not been implemented optimally. And the inhibiting factors were found, namely the lack of encouragement from the government in educational units, the teacher's motivation was only for promotion and considering Classroom Action Research to be difficult, while the supporting factors for writing Classroom Action Research were the school principal providing opportunities for teachers to develop competence independently through training.

Abstract

Curriculum management is a curriculum management system that is comprehensive and systematic in order to realize curriculum achievement. A curriculum that is considered good is a curriculum that follows developments in science and technology in society. Curriculum empowerment determines achievement and failure in education. Therefore, this It is the responsibility of educational institutions and all stakeholders must have the same goals in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of intergenerational Learning Circle management in developing a culture of knowledge sharing among teachers at SMA Negeri 3 Cirebon. The Learning Circle program, known as Entog Cup Ekek, serves as a collaborative platform for senior and junior teachers to exchange best practices, present innovative learning models, and develop technology-based and AI-assisted assessments. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that the implementation of the Learning Circle operates through structured stages of planning, collaborative execution, and reflective evaluation, enabling systematic knowledge transfer. The culture of knowledge sharing across generations has strengthened, indicated by increased openness, active participation, and routine discussions of pedagogical innovations across MGMP subject groups. The program also positively impacts professional collaboration, reduces intergenerational barriers, and minimizes competency gaps—particularly in pedagogical and digital skills-between senior and junior teachers. These findings indicate that the Learning Circle can function as an effective knowledge management model that enhances teacher professionalism and fosters a collaborative school culture.

Abstract

The shift from face-to-face instruction to online learning has introduced significant challenges in maintaining student satisfaction, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) courses. Issues such as limited interaction, unclear academic information, restricted access to academic services, and perceptions of tuition fees during distance learning have raised concerns regarding the effectiveness of online learning implementation. Student satisfaction is a crucial indicator of learning quality and plays an important role in achieving the educational objectives of PAI programs. This study aims to examine the impact of online learning on student satisfaction among third-semester students enrolled in the Distance Learning Program (PJJ) of Islamic Religious Education at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Specifically, the study examines the impact of online learning evaluation on student satisfaction, while also identifying other factors that contribute to it. A quantitative research approach was employed using regression analysis. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire distributed to third-semester PJJ students, measuring variables such as online learning evaluation, clarity of academic information, accessibility of academic staff, and perceptions of tuition fees. The results indicate that the constant has a significant effect on student satisfaction (coefficient = 24.125, p < 0.05), whereas the online learning evaluation variable does not have a statistically significant effect (coefficient = 0.011, p > 0.05). Despite the non-significant influence of learning evaluation, other factors—particularly clarity of information, tuition fee structure, and staff accessibility—were found to meaningfully contribute to student satisfaction. These findings suggest that improving the clarity of academic communication, reviewing tuition fee policies, and enhancing the accessibility of academic and administrative services are crucial strategies for enhancing student satisfaction. Such improvements can support the development of more effective and sustainable online learning practices within Islamic Religious Education programs

Abstract

Demi meningkatkan produktivitas pegawai,maka sering dilakukan pembenahan dan peningkatan sumber daya manusia dari pegawai.Namun sering kali kegiatan peningkatan sumber daya manusia dari pegawai tidak mencapai hal yang diharapkanya itu tercapainya tujuan dari organisasi sekolah tersebut seperti peningkatan produktivitas kerja pegawai.Meskipun telah memiliki sumber daya yang berkualitas, pegawai belum tentu dapat Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru ASN di SMAN 1 Lohbener dengan komitmen organisasi sebagai variable mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel berjumlah 39 responden yaitu Guru SMA Negeri 1 Lohbener. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Budaya kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja guru ASN. 2) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja guru ASN. 3) Komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja guru ASN. 4) Budaya kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. 5) Motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap Komitmen Organisasi. 6) Komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Budaya kerja dan kinerja guru ASN. 7) Komitmen organisasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Motivasi kerja dan Kinerja guru ASN.

Abstract

Improving teacher competence is a key factor in enhancing the quality of education and constitutes a systemic responsibility of educational institutions. This article aims to analyze the role of educational administration in strengthening teacher competence through policy management, program planning, academic supervision, and teacher performance evaluation in schools. This study employs a literature review method by examining various relevant sources, including academic books, nationally accredited journal articles, and educational regulations. The findings indicate that educational administration plays a strategic role in building a structured and sustainable system for teachers’ professional development. Core administrative functions such as planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision serve as the primary framework for directing teacher competence development. In practice, educational administration also utilizes principles of human resource management as operational instruments, particularly in teacher workforce planning, professional training, and performance appraisal. The challenges identified include budget limitations, managerial capacity of school leadership, weak collaborative culture, and suboptimal use of administrative data in decision-making processes. This article concludes that professionally and systematically managed educational administration represents a strategic approach to strengthening teacher competence and improving educational quality in schools.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the role of the principal's transformational leadership in developing a religious culture in schools. Transformational leadership is viewed as an effective leadership model for creating positive change through role modeling, inspirational motivation, empowerment, and personal attention. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study method, conducted at Lemahabang 01 Public Elementary School, Tanjung District, Brebes Regency. Subjects included the principal, teachers, students, and the school committee. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles & Huberman model, which encompasses data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The results indicate that the principal successfully implemented transformational leadership in strengthening a religious culture through four main dimensions: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration. Various strategies were implemented to build a religious culture, including integrating Islamic values ​​into the school's vision and programs, promoting religious activities, empowering teachers, creating a religious environment, and collaborating with parents and the community. Supporting factors for implementation include stakeholder commitment, religious facilities, and external collaboration, while barriers include time constraints, differences in religious backgrounds, and external cultural influences. The study concluded that transformational leadership is relevant to Islamic leadership principles such as uswah hasanah (good character), syura (shariah), amanah (trustworthiness), and tarbiyah (educational guidance), and is effective in creating schools with an Islamic character and religious culture.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the concept of Human Resources (HR) management for Kindergarten (TK) teachers from an educational administration perspective and to identify strategies for strengthening HR quality based on a review of the latest literature. The method used is a literature study, analyzing journal articles, books, and official reports published between 2019 and 2024. The research results indicate that the HR management for Kindergarten teachers encompasses the processes of recruitment, selection, placement, professional development, performance appraisal, and welfare improvement. The biggest challenges include uneven teacher competence, minimal training, and weak academic supervision. This research recommends HR improvement strategies through continuous training, constructive academic supervision, objective performance appraisal, and strengthening teacher welfare.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has forced educational institutions to adjust their promotional approaches. Social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have emerged as very useful communication tools for reaching a wide audience, especially young people. This study aims to examine the use of Instagram and TikTok as promotional channels at MTs YPK Cijulang, while assessing their influence on the school's reputation and appeal. The method applied is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and related documentation. The findings reveal that the use of these two platforms plays an important role in increasing the school's exposure, building a positive image of the institution, and attracting the attention of prospective students and their parents. Content highlighting student activities, academic achievements, and Islamic values proved to be key elements in the success of the school's digital promotion. This study suggests that social media management should be carried out consistently and optimally as a strategic step for school promotion in today's digital age.

Abstract

The management of Islamic educational facilities and infrastructure plays a strategic role in supporting the quality of learning in educational institutions. Well-managed facilities and infrastructure can create a conducive learning environment and support the achievement of Islamic educational objectives. This article aims to examine the role of managing Islamic educational facilities and infrastructure as a supporting factor for learning quality based on previous studies. The research method employed is a literature review by analyzing scientific journal articles and relevant references published over the last five years. The results indicate that effective management of facilities and infrastructure, including planning, procurement, utilization, maintenance, and supervision, significantly contributes to improving learning quality. Optimal management enhances the effectiveness of the learning process, learning comfort, and the motivation of both students and educators. Therefore, strengthening the management of Islamic educational facilities and infrastructure is essential as an integral effort to sustainably improve learning quality.
