Abstract

This article examines the socio-cultural changes of society in the midst of the currents of globalization.  It is assumed that there is a shift in the Besahian tradition in the Malay community of Embacang Ogan Ilir village which has been a social system in agricultural culture. This study aims to analyze the impact of such shifts because of the global influence of Islam and modernization in the agricultural system. The method used is qualitative explanatory with observation techniques, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that the Malay community of Embacang village is a community with a socio-cultural and religious background that is quite religious. The Besahian tradition as the culture of the Malay community of Embacang village reflects the values of religiosity influenced by Islam as a religion embraced by all citizens of its community, such as deliberation, help, togetherness, equality, justice, and friendship. The Besahian tradition on it has undergone an evolutive shift because of modernization in the agricultural system. Agricultural machinery technology is not only shifting the role of human labor, which is the fulcrum in the Besahian tradition, but also slowly but surely shifting the religiosity values contained in the tradition.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze scientific literature with bibliometric analysis to find the main topics, authors, sources, articles that are most widely cited in Indonesia that discuss economic development in Islamic boarding schools in relation to economic independence and entrepreneurship and empowerment. Another objective is to understand the conceptual, intellectual, and social structures of the literature on various forms of pesantren economic development. This study uses journal articles indexed on Google Schoolar which are published using the publish and perish search engine version 8 in 2016 to 2023. To obtain a map of research results regarding the economic development of Islamic boarding schools, data from Publish or perish are exported into RIS file form and then analyzed using Vosviewer (VV) application. The research results show that the publication of research results from 2016 to 2022 has experienced a fluctuating increase. Through Vosviewer's visualization, the development map of Islamic boarding school economic development research is divided into 5 clusters. Cluster 1 consists of 12 items, cluster 2 has 9 items, cluster 3 has 8 items, cluster 4 has 7 items, and cluster 5 has 5 items. Opportunities for further research according to Vosviewer's analysis are the independence of the students, economic welfare, and government attention.

Abstract

Palembang City is the capital of South Sumatra Province which is not only famous as a city of culture and religion but also a city that is famous for its culinary. One of the culinary specialties of Palembang City, South Sumatra is pempek. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method approach and using the SmartPLS application. The results of this study indicate that food ingredients have an effect on Pempek Purchase Interest in Pempek Village 26 Ilir Palembang City. Meanwhile, halal label and halal Awareness has no effect in Purchase Intention of Pempek in Pempek Village 26 Ilir Palembang City.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the concept of self-accounting system in the perspective of the Qur'an as a means of education to realize humans as khalifah on earth. This study uses a qualitative method that describes the concepts and types of library research, namely research whose object of study uses library data in the form of books as the data source. The results of this study are the concept of self-accounting system (self-accounting) is a form of scientific and technological development that does not conflict with the perspective of the Qur'an and through this concept can remind humans about their existence as caliphs on earth; The concept of a self-accounting system plays a very important role as a means of improving the quality of education because it can become an applied concept as a means of improving education in families, schools and communities; Changes and challenges in the application of the concept of self-accounting system in the era of globalization is a necessity that must be faced. The development of technological science has been applied to support that the concept can be relevant as a medium to help develop the world of Islamic religious education.

Abstract

This study examines determinants and praxis of economic and social empowerment among Ethnics Muslim communities. It introduces the TENGKA model (Trust, Effort, Networking, Keeping, Active) as a culturally embedded framework for empowerment. Using an explanatory sequential mixed-methods design, the research identifies how physical capital, human capital, social capital, and the competence of empowerment actors shape empowerment outcomes. Empirical findings show that human capital, social capital, and actor competence significantly influence empowerment; local practices: aresan, sombhengan-bhelin, bhetonan, pesantren, madrasah, KOPWAN, lobenyu, posyandu, and PAMSIMAS, function as operational manifestations of social capital and Islamic-infused local wisdom. The paper advances the theoretical contribution by explicitly linking the TENGKA components to Islamic intellectual heritage (Qur'anic injunctions, Prophetic hadith, and classical and contemporary scholarship), and situates TENGKA alongside ACTORS and Ibn Khaldun’s ashabiyah to highlight complementarities and differences. We discuss transferability to other Muslim communities and propose practical implications for policy design and community-based interventions. The study contributes empirically and theoretically to scholarship on Islamic community empowerment and offers an operational model for culturally sensitive programs.

Abstract

The study applied the theory of economic development to solve the problems and challenges of the economic recovery the small and medium enterprise (SME) after covid 19. The policy of social distancing has certainly change the economic activities of the people of Palembang. As a result of this policy, the economic growth Palembang People slows down and decreases by around 3 percent in 2020. Therefore, dynamic policies and development are needed to respond economic proble post covid 19. The peak economic slowdown in Palembang generally is influenced by a number of factors, ranging from decline in household consumption, investment to exports. Form three components, household consumption have paleyd major role in suppressing the Palembang economy due to the covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, for economic revival post covid 19, the Palembang local government must strengthen public institutions and services and align a strategies provide clear signal for better and systematic transition. Reforming renewable energy and increasing local production and the small and medium enterprise (SME) will gradually increase the economic resilience of the private sector. Increasing adequacy in the early of the post covid 19 economic recovery is significantly to control ivestment and economic growth in Palembang

Abstract

Inovasi teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan telah memberikan kontribusi besar dalam mendukung pengembangan literasi keuangan syariah, terutama bagi pelajar dan pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM). Pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai media pembelajaran memungkinkan peserta didik dan pelaku UMKM untuk lebih mudah memahami prinsip-prinsip ekonomi syariah melalui pendekatan yang interaktif dan aplikatif. Artikel ini bertujuan mengulas bentuk-bentuk pemanfaatan inovasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, seperti penggunaan aplikasi keuangan berbasis syariah, platform fintech syariah, serta e-commerce halal yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan literasi keuangan. Selain itu, artikel ini juga membahas berbagai tantangan dalam penerapan teknologi tersebut, seperti rendahnya literasi digital dan keterbatasan infrastruktur teknologi di sejumlah daerah. Melalui kajian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang peluang pengembangan inovasi teknologi dalam meningkatkan literasi keuangan syariah secara lebih inklusif, efektif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pengangguran dan kemiskinan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan pada tahun 2016-2019.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengangguran dan kemiskinan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengangguran dan kemiskinan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Ini juga sesuai dengan hasil perhitungan menggunakan regresi sederhana, di mana tingkat signifikansi seluruh koefisien korelasi satu sisi yang diukur dengan probabilitas menghasilkan angka 0,019. Karena probabilitasnya kurang dari 0,05, korelasi antara variabel pengangguran dan kemiskinan (Variabel X1 dan X2) dan pertumbuhan ekonomi (Variabel Y) adalah signifikan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengentasa kemiskinan di Kota Palembang, Data yang digunakan adalah data runutan waktu pada tahun 2018-2019. Kemiskinan adalah keadaan dimana terjadi ketidakmampuan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar seperti makanan, pakaian, tempat berlindung, pendidikan, dan kesehatan. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dan data primer. Sumber data sekunder berasal dari beberapa instansi yang berwenang dan berkaitan dengan program pengentasan kemiskinan seperti Dinas Sosial, Badan Pusat Statistik dan sumber-sumber data sekunder lainnya yang berkaitan. Sedangkan data primer langsung melalui wawancara secara mendalam (depth interview), serta stakeholder di wilayah penelitian yang telah ditetapkan. Perubahan struktur sebagai langkah operasional dan manusia sebagai sasaran, maka strategi penanggulangan kemiskinan yang palingtepat adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat. Pengentasan kemiskinan berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat ini berfokus pada dua lingkup utama, yaitu: ruang lingkup wilayahdan ruang lingkup materi. Ruang lingkup wilayah adalah pemerintah Kota Palembang dan instansi pendukung lainnya di lingkungan pemerintah yang berkaitan dengan kajian ini, serta wilayah lain yang meliputi berbagai daerah yang menjadi kantong kemiskinan di berbagai daerah di Kota Palembang. Ruang lingkup materi, meliputi kajian empirik berupa analisis ekonomi makro dan analisis pengentasan kemiskinan, serta kajian teori tentang pemberdayaan masyarakat.
