Abstract

A perlocutionary speech act is an utterance that is uttered by a speaker that often has the power of influence or effect on the listener. This effect or influence is intentionally or unintentionally created by the speaker. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Based on this research, it can be seen that there are types of perlocutionary speech acts, namely non-commissive speech acts as much as 2 findings with a percentage of 3.08%, directive perlocutionary speech acts as many as 27 findings with a percentage of 41.53%, declaration perlocutionary speech acts as many as 4 findings with a percentage 6, 15%, expressive perlocutionary speech acts as many as 22 findings with a percentage of 33.85 and representative perlocutionary speech acts as many as 10 findings with a percentage of 15.38%. From the data obtained, it can be concluded that the types of perlocutionary speech acts, namely directive speech acts and expressive speech acts, have more numbers than other types of perlocutionary speech acts in the novel. Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide motivation-based socialization of household waste management to housewives in the Meruyung Village area, Limo Village, Depok. The method used is the lecture method combined with the lecture method plus questions and answers and assignments, the lecture method plus discussion and practice on how to manage motivation-based waste so that it becomes something useful. The target audience in the implementation of this activity is housewives in the neighborhood where abdimas partners are. The implications of this activity are (1) to be able to manage household waste into something useful; (2) enabling IRT (housewives to be creative and innovative towards goods that are no longer useful (garbage) so that they can be of sale value (3) can increase income especially in the post-pandemic period. Abstract

This Indonesian Language Training for Basic Level Foreign Speakers was attended by Thai residents, which was coordinated by the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Maejo University, Thailand. The purpose of this activity is for BIPA participants from Thailand to know and understand Indonesian. This activity teaches Indonesian from the basics to the participants. BIPA teaching cannot be separated from four aspects of language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This activity is intended for participants from Thailand who have different backgrounds. Most of the participants have never received BIPA training. The positive effect of this activity is that BIPA participants can understand and master Indonesian from a basic level which can be applied when visiting Indonesia. In addition, the BIPA participants were also taught the culture in Indonesia so that they would be more familiar with the culture and traditions that exist in Indonesia. Keywords: BIPA, Thailand.

Abstract

Pemuda Karang Taruna Melati (Karamel) RW 017 Graha Indah, Jatikramat, Jatiasih, Kota Bekasi, termasuk kaum milenial yang kreatif dan cukup memiliki peranan penting di wilayahnya. Kreativitas mereka dapat dikemas dengan tetap mengutamakan penggunaan bahasa Indonesia pada setiap kegiatan. Permasalahan mitra yang didapatkan berdasarkan data di lapangan bahwa para pemuda tersebut belum sepenuhnya memahami padanan kata bahasa Indonesia untuk istilah-istilah asing yang muncul pada pandemi covid-19. Untuk itu, solusi yang ditawarkan oleh tim pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah memberikan sosialisasi atau penyuluhan kepada para anggota karang taruna adalah tentang padanan kata bahasa Indonesia untuk istilah-istilah asing yang muncul pada pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode daring yang meliputi: Wawancara via daring untuk pengambilan data awal (survei awal) dan ceramah plus, saat pelaksanaannya dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting. Adapun hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan Sosialisasi Padanan Kata Bahasa Indonesia pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Karang Taruna Melati (Karamel) RW 017 Graha Indah, Jatikramat, Jatiasih, Kota Bekasi, yaitu: 1) Para peserta dapat memahami hakikat kecintaan terhadap bahasa indonesia dan padanan istilah. 2) Para peserta mengetahui padanan istilah bahasa Indonesia untuk kata-kata seperti rapid test (uji cepat), lockdown (karantina wilayah), face shield (pelindung wajah), suspect (terduga), dan survivor (penyintas). 3) Para peserta dapat membiasakan diri menggunakan kata-kata atau istilah bahasa Indonesia yang berkaitan dengan masa pandemi covid-19. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai, simpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, yaitu: 1) Para peserta antusias dan puas terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan tim pelaksana. 2) Para peserta mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan dan informasi terkait padanan istilah bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis ekranisasi alur, ekranisasi latar, dan ekranisasi tokoh pada novel 12 Cerita Glen Anggara karya Luluk HF terhadap film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara karya Alim Sudio. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik simak dan catat. Proses ekranisasi yang mendominasi novel 12 Cerita Glen Anggara karya Luluk HF terhadap film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara karya Alim Sudio adalah penambahan alur dengan 72 temuan dari total 152 temuan atau 48% dari total 100%, perubahan bervariasi alur dengan 55 temuan dari total 152 temuan atau 37% dari total 100%, penambahan latar dengan 19 temuan dari total 152 temuan atau 13% dari total 100%, penambahan tokoh dengan 5 temuan dari total 152 temuan atau 4% dari total 100%, dan perubahan bervariasi dengan 1 temuan dari total 152 temuan atau 1% dari total 100%. Dari hasil tersebut dapat diketahui bahwa proses ekranisasi sangat berperan penting dalam peralihan suatu karya sastra ke dalam bentuk kesenian lainnya, khususnya pada ekranisasi novel 12 Cerita Glen Anggara karya Luluk HF terhadap film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara karya Alim Sudio.Kata Kunci: Ekranisasi, Novel, FilmAbstractThis study aims to identify and analyze plot, setting, and character ecranization in Luluk HF's novel 12 Cerita Glen Anggara against the film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara by Alim Sudio. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with observing and note-taking techniques. The ecranization process that dominates the novel 12 Cerita Glen Anggara by Luluk HF towards the film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara by Alim Sudio is the addition of plots with 72 findings out of a total of 152 findings or 48% of the total 100%, changes in varied plots with 55 findings out of a total of 152 findings or 37% of the total 100%, addition of background with 19 findings out of a total of 152 findings or 13% of the total 100%, addition of characters with 5 findings out of a total of 152 findings or 4% of the total 100%, and changes vary with 1 finding out of a total of 152 findings or 1% of the total 100%. From these results it can be seen that the ecranization process plays an important role in the transition of a literary work into another form of art, especially in the ecranization of the novel 12 Cerita Glen Anggara by Luluk HF to the film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara by Alim Sudio.Keywords: Ecranization, Novel, Movie

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis citra perempuan dalam novel Perempuan Yang Menangis Kepada Bulan Hitam karya Dian Purnomo dan Implikasinya terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis citra perempuan yang terdapat dalam tokoh perempuan yang ada di novel. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi untuk mendeskripsikan jenis citra perempuan. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa jenis citra perempuan yang paling dominan dalam novel Perempuan Yang Menangis Kepada Bulan Hitam ialah citra pigura sebanyak 4 data (7%), citra pilar sebanyak 22 data (36%), citra peraduan sebanyak 20 data (33%), citra pinggan sebanyak 7 data (12%), citra pergaulan sebanyak 7 data (12%).Kata Kunci: Novel, Citra Perempuan, Implikasi terhadap Pembelajaran Bahasa IndonesiaAbstractThe purpose of this study was to analyze the image of women in the novel Woman Crying To The Black Moon by Dian Purnomo and its implications for Indonesian language learning to identify and analyze the image of women contained in the female characters in the novel. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques to describe the types of women's images. The writer concludes that the most dominant type of female image in the novel Women Crying To The Black Moon is a frame image with 4 data (7%), a pillar image with 22 data (36%), a conflict image with 20 data (33%), a plate image 7 data (12%), social image 7 data (12%).Keywords: Novel, Image of Women, Implications for Learning Indonesian

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to socialize and improve literacy skills in student in order to produce optimal results due to the lack of assistance and training to increase awareness and literacy skills.  Through initial observations and interviews with the Foundation, it was revealed that the students had not fully understood the importance of language literacy in the context of global communication, which resulted in a lack of maturity in oral culture. Therefore, this community service activity aims to enable the students of TPQ Al-Hidayah to integrate language literacy in daily life, increase community knowledge through access to information, and develop a positive attitude towards the interpretation of the information obtained. The results of this service activity include the preparation of materials or studies to help students understand and apply language literacy and measure the learning outcomes of these literacy skills. In addition, the team will create a published article to convey the achievements of this abdimas activity to the wider community, with the hope that the information disseminated can provide significant benefits. Thus, this effort is expected to make an effective contribution in overcoming social problems, especially the education gap in society.
