Abstract

The mathematical communication of junior high school students is contained in written answers to mathematics, especially in finding patterns of problem-solving, presentation, and rewriting using the language, which is the purpose of this research. Expressing a mathematical situation into a mathematical model in writing can be done by reading and understanding the problem repeatedly, making connections between mathematical concepts and relevant images, making observations on the pictures given, then sorting the numbers based on the views, providing a complete explanation. Then ask students to illustrate the correct and correct answers in their language. The need to pay attention and maximize the time for students to communicate their findings. Creating a learning atmosphere that supports mathematical communication by getting students to dare to express opinions or ideas related to lessons and enrich themselves by seeking information from various sources.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the doctrine expectations of learning mathematics. Data was collected through testing, interviews, and documentation. Researchers have designed a virtual learning trajectory (HLT) based on examining the obstacles students face when learning mathematics. Next, a didactic design was developed from HLT. The method of doctrine was implemented, and the results showed that the situation of the three principles expected by researchers was the doctrine of scaffolding strategy. When determining values that correspond to a pattern of numbers, researchers want to learn lessons and provide instructions in the form of education to solve problems. The researcher's expectation of giving other examples of arithmetic progressions when choosing a definition and the arithmetic progression examples help students better understand collaborative learning. The value of the nth term and the sum of the first n math terms are sent to each shirt to confirm the work and interact directly.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the limited empirical research that simultaneously examines the influence of discipline and learning fatigue on the Quran memorization ability at the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level in Indonesia. The study aims to (1) analyze the effect of discipline, (2) test the effect of learning fatigue, and (3) measure the combined effect of both on the Quran memorization ability of students in the Tahfidz program at MTs Muammar Gandi, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, academic year 2025/2026. The research uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto correlational-regression design. A population of 39 students was taken entirely through total sampling; after data cleaning, 34 students remained. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire, non-participant observation, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptive statistics and multiple linear regression with SPSS 26. The results show that discipline has a significant positive effect partially (t = 3.444; Sig. = 0.002), learning fatigue has no significant partial effect (t = -1.397; Sig. = 0.172), but both simultaneously have a significant effect (F = 10.890; Sig. = 0.000) with a contribution of 28.7%. These findings support Skinner's behaviorism theory and Ebbinghaus's forgetting curve, which suggest that Quran memorization is more determined by discipline than temporary fatigue. The study concludes that discipline is the main factor in the success of Tahfidz programs. Practical implications: Madrasah and pesantren managers need to strengthen the discipline system of muroja’ah and early detection of fatigue.
