Abstract

Based on the results of interviews with fourth grade students, it was stated that they did not understand mathematics because they felt mathematics was a difficult subject. Then the parents added that they couldn't guide their children to do math assignments because they didn't understand the content of the lesson. In addition, students in answering the questions given by the teacher were not optimal. Online learning is also one of the causes of the less than optimal score results. This study aims to describe the results of understanding the mathematical concepts of fourth grade students at SDN 6 Bulungcangkring during the learning period of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative method with research subjects, namely 3 students from grade IV SDN 6 Bulungcangkring. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and document studies to analyze the results of students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The results of this study are that MDA is a student who is able to meet the indicators of understanding students 'mathematical concepts, while SH and JS are able to meet the indicators of understanding students' mathematical concepts because they are able to provide the right answer and are able to write formulas according to the correct calculations. The conclusion in this study is that MDA does not have the ability to understand mathematical concepts while SH and JS already have the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Untuk menganalisis perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi Gagung Duran dibandingkan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran secara konvensional; (2) Untuk menguji apakah rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sesudah diterapkan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi Gagung Duran lebih baik daripada sebelumnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dan desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe eksperimen sejati. Desain dalam penelitian adalah randomized pre-test and post-test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP 1 Mejobo kelas VIII dimana pemilihan sample menggunakan metode cluster sampling. Data diperoleh dari hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Analisis data pada rumus pertama menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji t untuk sampel independen, dan rumus kedua menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji t untuk pasangan sampel. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi Gagung Duran dapat menjadikan siswa lebih mandiri dalam proses belajar serta siswa bisa memahami materi secara mendalam dengan cara melatih menyelesaikan masalah terkait dengan keseharian siswa. Dengan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol; (2) Rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa sebelum perlakuan lebih rendah dibandingkan sesudah diterapkan perlakuan. The aims of this study are: (1) To analyze the difference in the average problem-solving abilities of students who received Problem Based Learning models assisted by the Gagung Duran application compared to students who received conventional learning; (2) To test whether the average problem-solving ability of students after the application of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by the Gagung Duran application is better than before. The research method used is quantitative, the design used in this study is a true experimental type. While the design chosen by the researcher is the randomized pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were students of SMP 1 Mejobo class VIII using the Cluster Sampling approach. The data were obtained from the results of the problem-solving ability test. Data analysis in the first formulation used a prerequisite test and independent-sample t-test, the second formulation used a prerequisite test and paired sample t-test. The results of the study prove that using the Problem Based Learning model with the help of the Gagung Duran application can improve students' problem-solving abilities than before the treatment was applied. And can increase the average ability of students compared to students who get conventional learning. In this study, it was found that: (1) There was a difference in the average problem-solving ability of the experimental class compared to the control class; (2) The average problem-solving ability of students before the treatment was lower than after the treatment was applied. For further research, it is possible that the implementation of learning can be adjusted to the ability of students and the achievement of the learning to be carried out.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis hasil studi lapangan terkait kebutuhan desain modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa untuk siswa slow learner, (2) menganalisis hasil temuan di lapangan dan hasil FGD terkait kebutuhan desain modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa untuk siswa slow learner, (3) merumuskan desain draf modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa untuk siswa slow learner. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Metode deskriptif ini digunakan untuk menggambarkan desain pembuatan modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa. Modul ini dirancang dengan memperhatikan karakteristik siswa slow learner di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) berdasarkan hasil studi lapangan modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa membahas materi pembelajaran matematika secara koheren dan jelas perlu untuk dikembangkan dengan memperhatikan kesantunan dalam setiap kalimat baik kalimat perintah, penjelasan dan pertanyaan; (2) berdasarkan temuan dan FGD perlu dirancang modul yang menggunakan kurikulum 2013, ada kegiatan proyek yang menarik, memasukkan bahasa yang santun, isinya runtut dan detail, tema tentang kebudayaan, memperhatikan karakter siswa slow learner, desain halaman dan sambul berkaitan dengan budaya; dan (3) Desain draft modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa menyediakan 3 bagian dasar dari pengantar, konten, dan penutup, serta desain setiap kegiatan pembelajaran disusun menggunakan akronim yang unik sehingga menarik dan mudah diakses oleh siswa yang lambat. The objectives of this study were (1) analyze the results of field studies related to the need for language-based mathematics module design for slow learner students, (2) analyze the findings in the field and the results of FGDs related to the need for language-based mathematics module design for slow learner, (3) formulating a draft design of a mathematics module based on polite language for slow learner students. The research method is descriptive. It used to describe the design of a mathematics module based on polite language. This module is designed with students in mind. Slow learner in elementary school. The results showed that (1) based on the results of the field study, the language-based mathematics module discusses mathematics learning material in a coherent and clear manner, it needs to be developed by paying attention to the politeness in the sentence of each command sentence, explanation and question; (2) based on the findings and FGD, it is necessary to design modules that use the 2013 curriculum, have interesting project activities, include helpful language, coherent and detailed content, themes about culture, paying attention to the character of students who are slow, page design and chutney related to culture; and (3) The design of the draft mathematics module based on polite language provides 3 basic parts of the introduction, content, cover, and design of each learning activity which is arranged using unique acronyms so that it is attractive and easily accessible to slow students.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar matematika dan faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar matematika yang dialami oleh siswa kelas IV MI Mambaul Ulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru kelas, dan tujuh siswa kelas IV yang teridentifikasi mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Kesulitan belajar matematika yang siswa kelas IV MI Mambaul Ulum alami yaitu kesulitan memahami konsep pada bilangan pecahan, kesulitan keterampilan berhitung pada materi perkalian dan pembagian, serta kesulitan memecahkan masalah dalam bentuk soal cerita. 2) Faktor penyebab kesulitan belajar matematika terdiri dari faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Faktor internalnya adalah kesehatan tubuh yang tidak optimal, cacat tubuh yaitu penglihatan yang lemah atau mata minus dan pendengaran yang kurang, kecerdasan yang rendah, minat siswa pada pelajaran matematika masih rendah, serta motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika juga rendah. Sedangkan faktor eksternalnya adalah faktor lingkungan sekolah yaitu penggunaan media pembelajaran matematika yang kurang inovatif, faktor lingkungan keluarga adalah orang tua kurang memperhatikan kegiatan belajar matematika siswa, suasana dirumah kurang baik saat siswa belajar matematika, kegiatan dalam masyarakat yaitu siswa yang terlalu banyak aktivitas sehingga kegiatan belajar siswa menjadi terbengkalai, dan faktor media massa yaitu pengaruh penggunaan gadget dan TV.  Kata kunci: Faktor Penyebab Kesulitan Belajar Matematika; Kesulitan Belajar Matematika AbstractThis study aims to describe the difficulties in learning mathematics in learning mathematics and the factors causing the difficulty in learning mathematics experienced by students in grade IV MI Mambaul Ulum.  This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subject of  this research is the class teacher, and seven grade IV students who were identified as having difficulty learning mathematics. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Data analysis tchniques used in this study are dta reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. The results showed that 1) The difficulty in learning mathematics that the IV grader MI Mambaul Ulum experienced, namely the difficulty in understanding the concept of fractions, difficulty in numeracy skills in the material of multiplication and division, and difficulty solving problems in the form of story problems. 2) Factors that cause difficulty in learning mathematics consist of internal factors and exsternal factors. Internal factors are body health that is not optimal, body defects, namely weak eyesight or minus eyes and poor hearing, low intelligence, student interest in mathematics is still low,  and students motivation in learning mathematics is also low. While the external factor is the school environment factor, namely the use of less innovative mathematics learning media, family environmental factors, are parents pay less attention to students mathematics learning activities, the atmosphere at home is not good when students study math, activities in the community namely students who have too much activity so that students learning activities become neglected, and mass media factors, namely the influence of the use of gadgets and television.  Keywords: Difficulty learning math; Factors that cause difficulty in learning mathematics

Abstract

Slow learner have difficulties in mathematics subjects so it is necessary to develop math module based on local wisdom Gusjigang Kudus. The purpose of this research is to know the result of questionnaire of  slow learner need to develop the module of math based on local wisdom, and  result of interview with teacher. The type of research is qualitative. The subject is the teacher and the slow learner in SD 1 Muhammadiyah Kudus. Techniques of data collection using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the questionnaire analysis, the needs of slow learner concluded that slow learner need a mathematical module that can help understand the material, help solve daily problems, and take advantage of local wisdom in the area. Based on the teacher interviews, the module that can help slow learner does not exist yet, and the books in the schools do not emphasize issues related to local wisdom.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk mengetahui peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik melalui model EJAS berbasis mathematic edutainment dan (2) untuk mengetahui peningkatan perilaku kepedulian lingkungan pada peserta didik melalui model EJAS berbasis mathematic edutainment. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre experimental design. Desain penelitian yang digunakan one group pre test-post test. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan (1) terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar dengan tingkat peningkatan rendah sebesar 0%,  sedang 14,29%, dan tinggi 85,71 %. Secara klasikal diperoleh nilai normalized gain  sebesar 90% atau 0,9 yang berarti tafsiran peningkatan prestasi belajar termasuk kategori tinggi (2) terjadi peningkatan terjadi peningkatan  perilaku kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dengan skor  peningkatan rendah sebesar 0%,  sedang sebesar  42,86%, dan tinggi sebesar 57,14%. Berdasarkan nilai normalized gain  secara klasikal diperoleh  sebesar 73% atau 0,73 yang berarti tafsiran peningkatan perilaku kepedulian terhadap lingkungan yang terjadi termasuk kategori tinggi. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika yang valid dan praktis untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada materi aritmatika sosial untuk siswa SMP kelas VII. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan, dengan menggunakan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall dengan instrumen penelitiannya lembar wawancara, lembar angket, dan lembar validasi. Teknik analisis data diperoleh dari penilaian dua validator dan penilaian kepraktisan terhadap 2 guru dan 32 siswa, yang kemudian dianalisis. Hasil validasi aplikasi KREASI menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi termasuk dalam kriteria valid dengan skor 3,1. Hasil penilaian kepraktisan guru dan siswa, guru menyatakan aplikasi termasuk dalam kriteria praktis dengan skor 3 dan penilaian siswa menyatakan aplikasi termasuk dalam kriteria praktis dengan skor 3,2.

Abstract

Abstract. Based on the results of observations at SD 5 Bae, it was found that students always thought negatively about mathematics, students tended to worry about getting low scores when learning mathematics, students often lacked confidence when working on math problems, and students were often less careful when doing math problems. From these observations, the activity team provided training to teachers using pacing techniques. This pacing technique will help teachers communicate with students when mathematics learning takes place. The purpose of this community service is to improve teacher skills in communicating in mathematics using the pacing technique. The method used in this service is to use the participant active learning approach (participants participate actively in training activities). The result of this community service is that teachers can use the pacing technique to communicate when learning mathematics.             Abstrak. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di SD 5 Bae ditemukan bahwa siswa selalu beranggapan negatif terhadap matematika, siswa cenderung khawatir mendapatkan nilai yang rendah saat pembelajaran matematika, siswa sering kali kurang percaya diri saat mengerjakan soal matematika, dan siswa sering kurang berhati-hati saat mengerjakan soal matematika. Dari hasil pengamatan tersebut tim kegiatan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru dengan menggunakan teknik pacinng. Teknik pacing ini akan membantu guru dalam berkomunikasi dengan siswa saat pembeljaran matematika berlangsung. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat  ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam berkomunikasi pada matapelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan teknik pacing. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dengan menggunakan pendekatan participant active learning (peserta berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam kegiatan pelatihan). Hasil dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah guru dapat menggunakan teknik pacing untuk berkomunikasi saat pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) menganalisis kelayakan e-modul matematika berbasis santun berbahasa dari ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan menggunakan desain dari Borg dan Gall. Saat ini penelitian berada pada tahap validasi ahli. Modul divalidasi oleh tiga validator yaitu ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media pembelajaran. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian produk oleh para ahli. Instrumen yang dipakai menggunakan lembar penilaian produk yang berisi lembar penilaian dan saran para ahli. Penilaian dari ahli materi terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu aspek kelayakan Isi, aspek kelayakan penyajian dan aspek penilaian kontekstual. Penilaian dari ahli bahasa terdiri dari dua aspek yaitu aspek kelayakan kebahasaan, dan  aspek santun berbahasa. Penilaian dari ahli media pembelajaran terdiri dari tiga aspek yaitu aspek kelayakan kegrafisan Modul, aspek perangkat lunak, dan aspek komunikasi visual. Hasil validasi yang didapatkan adalah ahli materi pada kategori sangat layak, ahli bahasa pada kategori sangat layak, dan ahli media pembelajaran pada kategori layak. Jadi E-modul Matematika Berbasis Santun Berbahasa layak untuk digunakan ke tahap berikutnya.Kata kunci: e-modul matematika, santun berbahasa, slow learner, validasi ahli AbstractThe objectives of this research are (1) to analyze the e-module mathematics based on the language skills of the material experts, linguists, and media experts learning. This type of research used in this research is development research. The development model uses designs from Borg and Gall. Currently the research is at the expert validation stage. The module was validated by three validators, namely material experts, linguists, and learning media experts. Data collection techniques using product assessment instruments by experts. The instrument used is a product assessment sheet which contains an assessment sheet and expert advice. The material expert's assessment consists of three aspects, namely content feasibility aspects, presentation feasibility aspects and contextual assessment aspects. The assessment of the linguist consists of two aspects, namely the aspect of linguistic feasibility, and the polite aspect of language. The assessment of learning media experts consists of three aspects, namely aspects of the feasibility of the module's graphics, software aspects, and aspects of visual communication. The validation results obtained are material experts in the very feasible category, language experts in the very feasible category, and learning media experts in the appropriate category. Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the MMP (Missouri Mathematic Project) model assisted by the ethnomatematics module to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities and skills in mathematics, as well as how much the teacher's teaching skills can be improved through the MMP (Missouri Mathematic Project) model assisted by the ethnomatematics module. Data collection techniques used in this study consisted of tests and non-tests. The results of the study there are improvements that include the mathematical problem solving ability of students in the first cycle (70%) increased to (85%) cycle II, then an increase in the teaching skills of the first cycle teacher (78%) increased to (91%) cycle II, and skills students' mathematical problem solving also increased in cycle I (65%) to (95%) cycle II. This proves that the application of MMP (Missouri Mathematic Project) learning model assisted by ethnomatematics modules can improve mathematical problem solving abilities and skills as well as teacher teaching skills.
