Abstract

Literasi digital adalah cara yang paling efektif untuk memperoleh informasi dari berbagai sumber melalui media digital. Di era modern ini, literasi digital menjadi sangat penting karena kebutuhan informasi yang terus meningkat. Perubahan zaman telah mendorong dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam bidang literasi, untuk beralih dari penggunaan buku teks ke literasi digital dengan bantuan perangkat teknologi. Penggunaan media digital memberikan kemudahan bagi peserta didik dalam mengakses informasi secara cepat, mudah, efisien, dan dengan banyak pilihan. Literasi digital diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta didik dan membantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Di era saat ini, peserta didik diharapkan mampu memperoleh informasi dari berbagai sumber, sehingga pandangan bahwa guru adalah satu-satunya sumber belajar dapat ditinggalkan.

Abstract

Masjid adalah tempat ibadah bagi umat Muslim yang tidak hanya digunakan untuk beribadah, tetapi juga sebagai tempat untuk mempelajari ilmu agama. Fungsi ini telah ada sejak zaman Rasulullah hingga masa kekhalifahan Bani Saljuk. Pada masa itu, ilmu pengetahuan berkembang pesat, banyak buku diterjemahkan, dan kegiatan pengajian atau halaqoh dari para ulama dan murid semakin bertambah. Karena masjid sebagai pusat pembelajaran tidak lagi mampu menampung jumlah siswa yang belajar, didirikanlah madrasah sebagai tempat khusus untuk belajar agama Islam. Menyadari pentingnya keberadaan madrasah diniyah di lingkungan pondok pesantren, peneliti ingin menggali model kurikulum madrasah dan pengembangannya agar lulusannya memiliki kompetensi yang diharapkan oleh semua pihak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, deskriptif, dan studi pustaka, yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan keadaan atau fenomena yang ada dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai dokumen yang mendukung penelitian ini melalui studi dokumentasi.

Abstract

In the context of accelerating educational transformation and increasing demands for 21st-century competencies, school leadership plays a decisive role in shaping adaptive and sustainable learning environments. This study examines how transformational leadership of a school principal enhances teachers’ work motivation and pedagogical competence to improve instructional quality at the elementary level. A qualitative case study was conducted at SDN Gunting I Sukorejo using in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data were analyzed through data reduction, display, and verification, supported by methodological triangulation to ensure credibility. The findings indicate that visionary direction, continuous academic supervision, collaborative culture building, and teacher empowerment significantly strengthen intrinsic motivation and reflective pedagogical practices. These leadership strategies foster structured lesson planning, innovative instructional approaches, and greater student engagement. Moreover, the principal’s role extends beyond administrative coordination toward cultivating a professional learning ecosystem that supports adaptive and student-centered education. The novelty of this study lies in its integrated analysis of transformational leadership as a catalytic mechanism linking motivation reinforcement and pedagogical competence within a future-oriented elementary education framework. The study highlights the strategic repositioning of school principals as change agents who drive sustainable professional growth and educational innovation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of character education in Adiwiyata schools through a case study at SDN Cendono I and SDN Sumberejo I, Pasuruan Regency. Character education has become a strategic national agenda in Indonesia to respond to moral degradation, the erosion of social solidarity, and the weakening of environmental awareness among elementary school students. Using a descriptive qualitative case study design, data were collected through in‑depth interviews with principals, teachers, and students, participant observation of school routines and Adiwiyata activities, and documentation analysis of school policies and supporting instruments. The data were analyzed using interactive techniques of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with triangulation across sources and techniques to enhance validity. The findings show that character education has been integrated into school culture, classroom learning, and environmentally based co‑curricular programs, particularly in strengthening environmental care, discipline, and responsibility. Supporting factors include strong principal leadership, teacher commitment, active parental involvement, and the availability of Adiwiyata facilities, while inhibiting factors relate to limited resources, inconsistent student participation, and varying levels of community support. Overall, the implementation of character education in both Adiwiyata schools is categorized as effective, but still requires strengthening in systematic evaluation mechanisms, documentation of character outcomes, and collaboration with external stakeholders to ensure sustainability.​
