Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran manajemen mutu akreditasi dalam meningkatkan trust masyarakat yang berdampak pada meningkatnya minat masyarakat untuk menyekolahkan anak-anaknya di MTs. Sunan Ampel Kebet Lamongan. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya akreditasi tidak hanya sebagai bentuk penilaian formal, tetapi juga sebagai instrumen strategis untuk membangun reputasi dan meningkatkan mutu layanan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala madrasah, guru, komite madrasah, serta perwakilan orang tua/wali murid; observasi terhadap kegiatan madrasah; dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen mutu akreditasi di MTs. Sunan Ampel Kebet Lamongan dilakukan secara terstruktur melalui pemenuhan standar nasional pendidikan, peningkatan kompetensi guru, perbaikan sarana prasarana, serta penguatan komunikasi dengan masyarakat. Setelah memperoleh akreditasi “A”, madrasah ini mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam jumlah pendaftar baru dan perubahan positif dalam persepsi masyarakat. Kepercayaan masyarakat yang meningkat terbukti menjadi faktor utama bertambahnya minat menyekolahkan anak di madrasah tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa manajemen mutu akreditasi berperan penting tidak hanya sebagai proses administratif, tetapi juga sebagai upaya membangun budaya mutu yang berdampak langsung pada reputasi dan kepercayaan publik. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi madrasah dan sekolah lain dalam mengembangkan strategi peningkatan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

Education endowment funds are increasingly promoted as sustainable financing instruments to support long-term educational development, particularly within decentralized governance systems. However, empirical evidence on how such funds are governed and implemented at the local level remains limited. This study examines the governance of the Education Endowment Fund in Bojonegoro Regency, Indonesia, focusing on the translation of policy intentions into institutional practices and school-level utilization. Drawing on qualitative data from in-depth interviews and policy document analysis, the study finds that although the fund operates within a formally structured governance framework, its implementation is characterized by centralized decision-making, compliance-oriented accountability mechanisms, and constrained local agency. Consequently, the fund is largely utilized to address short-term operational needs rather than to advance long-term sustainability objectives. The findings also reveal the importance of informal coordination and adaptive practices in navigating administrative complexity, albeit with uneven outcomes across institutions. This study contributes to debates on education financing governance by highlighting the critical role of local governance dynamics in shaping policy outcomes.

Abstract

Reading literacy is one of the essential 21st-century competencies measured through the national assessment and presented in the education report card as a basis for evaluating education quality and implementing data-driven planning at the school level. this study aims to identify an effective school literacy management model to improve education report card outcomes. the research employed a descriptive qualitative approach in schools with top literacy achievement rankings at the district and national levels in 2025, namely smp negeri 1 kunjang and smp negeri 3 wates in kediri regency, involving principals, the school literacy team, teachers, librarians, students, parents, and the community as research subjects. data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the miles and huberman interactive model with validity ensured through source and technique triangulation. the findings indicate that improvements in reading literacy are supported by integrated literacy management, including education report card–based planning, collaborative organization across stakeholders, sustainable and contextual literacy activities centered on students, and reflective evaluation based on program outcomes. the novelty of this study is the development of a school literacy management model based on the cycle of data–collaboration–contextual action–reflection, integrating management functions systematically for decision-making and continuous program improvement. the study concludes that data-driven, collaborative, contextual, and reflective management significantly contributes to improving reading literacy and provides contributions to the advancement of data-based educational management science, evidence-based school leadership practices, and innovation in education quality improvement policies.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of clinical supervision management in developing teachers’ pedagogical competence. Clinical supervision is viewed as a professional development process that focuses on systematic, collaborative, and continuous teacher mentoring. This study employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of the school principal and teachers. The results indicate that clinical supervision management was implemented through the stages of planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The supervision planning was designed flexibly based on teachers’ needs and the dynamics of classroom learning. The implementation of clinical supervision was carried out through pre-observation, observation, and post-observation stages using a reflective dialogue approach. The evaluation process emphasized joint reflection and improvement of the learning process rather than individual performance appraisal. Follow-up programs were conducted through individual mentoring and collaborative activities within the school-based teacher working group (KKG). The implementation of clinical supervision had a positive impact on improving teachers’ pedagogical competence, particularly in lesson planning, learner-centered instructional practices, classroom management, the use of instructional methods and media, and learning assessment.

Abstract

This study explores real challenges at the elementary school level, such as declining teaching motivation, static instructional methods, and barriers to adopting information technology. Furthermore, conventional academic supervision procedures are often deemed ineffective due to minimal follow-up to facilitate independent teacher professional development. The primary objective of this study is to explore the implementation phase of coaching techniques in supervision activities, map obstacles in the field, and measure their impact on teacher effectiveness at SDN Ranggeh and SDN Gayam in Pasuruan Regency. This investigation employed a qualitative methodology with a multi-site study design. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with principals, supervisors, and teaching staff. Secondary data were obtained through direct observation and review of documents related to supervision planning and results. The data analysis process was systematically managed, encompassing reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions to ensure the validity of the research results. The research findings demonstrate the successful integration of a coaching-based collaborative supervision model using the TIRTA (Goal, Identification, Action Plan, Responsibility) and GROW (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) frameworks. The application of this approach has been proven to optimize the pedagogical and professional competencies of educators, foster internal motivation, and stimulate learning innovations that contribute to improving the quality of education and developing student character.

Abstract

Tujuan – Kajian ini bertujuan menelaah secara kritis penerapan manajemen strategi dalam rangka peningkatan mutu sekolah melalui Program Adiwiyata. Dalam perspektif kajian ini, manajemen strategi dimaknai sebagai suatu rangkaian proses yang mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, hingga penilaian kebijakan guna mewujudkan sasaran kelembagaan secara optimal dan berkesinambungan. Metodologi – Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan memusatkan perhatian pada dinamika perumusan serta pelaksanaan strategi di satuan pendidikan, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumen di UPT SMP Negeri 5 Gresik. Temuan – Tahapan perencanaan strategi dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dengan melibatkan partisipasi aktif berbagai pihak serta berpijak pada analisis SWOT dan pemetaan kebutuhan. Visi lingkungan hidup dilebur ke dalam visi utama sekolah. Strategi dituangkan dalam RKJM, RKT, dan RKAS, didukung kebijakan 3R, pembatasan plastik, dan revegetasi. Hambatan meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya, rendahnya kesadaran ekologis, dan kesenjangan kompetensi guru. Kebaruan – Penelitian ini mengisi kekosongan literatur mengenai manajemen strategis pasca-akreditasi Adiwiyata dan menghadirkan model konseptual yang teruji secara empiris dalam konteks Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup. Signifikansi – Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi kepala sekolah, pengelola pendidikan, dan peneliti yang ingin meningkatkan mutu dan keberlanjutan Program Adiwiyata, terutama di kawasan industri.

Abstract

Tujuan - Tulisan ini menelaah tiga pokok persoalan: bagaimana pola kepemimpinan manajerial kepala sekolah dalam mendorong peningkatan kompetensi guru, seperti apa corak gaya kepemimpinan yang dijalankan, serta faktor-faktor apa saja yang ikut membentuk efektivitas kepemimpinan tersebut. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dua lembaga TK di Kecamatan Wringinanom, Kabupaten Gresik, yakni TK DWP Sumengko dan TK Islam Unggulan At Tawfiq. Metodologi - Kajian ini berpijak pada paradigma kualitatif dengan rancangan studi kasus multi-situs yang bersifat deskriptif-komparatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui empat jalur, yaitu wawancara mendalam, pengamatan lapangan secara partisipatif, telaah dokumen kelembagaan, dan kuesioner skala Likert sebagai data pendukung. Proses analisis mengacu pada model interaktif Miles dan Huberman (2014) yang meliputi reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan simpulan, dengan keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber. Temuan - Di TK DWP Sumengko, kepala sekolah menerapkan pola manajemen yang lebih bersifat personal dan informal, dengan perolehan skor kepuasan guru rata-rata 3,40 (Cukup) serta gaya kepemimpinan demokratis-situasional (skor 3,88). Berbeda dengan itu, TK Islam Unggulan At Tawfiq menghadirkan sistem manajemen yang jauh lebih terstruktur dan terdokumentasi, dengan rerata skor 4,76 (Sangat Baik) dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional-partisipatif bernilai Islam (skor 4,90). Kebaruan - Dari kajian ini lahir sebuah model kepemimpinan manajerial yang adaptif dan kontekstual untuk satuan PAUD, yang menyempurnakan kerangka POAC konvensional dengan memasukkan empat dimensi tambahan: analisis kebutuhan pelatihan berbasis data (TNA), formalisasi rencana tindak lanjut supervisi (RTL), penguatan komunitas belajar internal, serta penghayatan nilai-nilai transendental dalam proses motivasi transformasional. Signifikansi - Temuan dalam penelitian ini berguna sebagai acuan praktis bagi kepala sekolah TK dalam menyusun sistem pembinaan kompetensi guru yang lebih terarah, serta menyumbangkan data empiris bagi Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Gresik sebagai landasan penyusunan standar minimal pembinaan profesionalisme guru PAUD.

Abstract

Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen strategi kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan Metodologi - Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam. Fokus penelitian meliputi analisis lingkungan strategis, perumusan visi dan misi, transformasi strategi ke dalam program kerja, serta model manajemen strategi yang diterapkan. Temuan - Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah melaksanakan manajemen strategi secara sistematis melalui tahapan analisis, perumusan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Analisis lingkungan dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan SWOT yang didukung oleh data Rapor Pendidikan, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor internal dan eksternal secara komprehensif. Perumusan visi, misi, dan tujuan strategis dilakukan secara partisipatif dengan melibatkan stakeholder dan diselaraskan dengan kebijakan pendidikan. Implementasi strategi diterjemahkan ke dalam program kerja melalui dokumen perencanaan formal seperti RKS dan RKAS, dengan pendekatan yang fleksibel namun terukur. Evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala menggunakan indikator mutu yang mencakup aspek literasi, numerasi, karakter, kualitas pembelajaran, dan pemerataan pendidikan. Kebaruan - Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model manajemen strategi kepala sekolah bersifat adaptif dan integratif, dengan mengombinasikan pendekatan partisipatif, kolaboratif, top-down, dan berbasis data. Keberhasilan strategi dipengaruhi oleh kepemimpinan yang adaptif, budaya mutu, serta keterlibatan stakeholder, meskipun masih terdapat tantangan dalam konsistensi implementasi dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Signifikansi – Penelitian ini bermanfaat bagi kepala sekolah, pengelola pendidikan, dan peneliti yang ingin meningkatkan mutu dan keberlanjutan berbasis analisis SWOT dan rapor pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of transformational prophetic leadership in building a culture of quality in higher education. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving university leaders, quality assurance personnel, and academic staff. The data were analyzed using an interactive model, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that transformational leadership contributes to the development of a quality culture through vision building, innovation, and active stakeholder engagement. At the same time, prophetic leadership reinforces ethical values such as honesty, trustworthiness, transparency, and wisdom, which serve as the foundation of organizational behavior. The integration of these two leadership approaches referred to as transformational prophetic leadership creates a holistic model that balances performance orientation with moral and spiritual values. Furthermore, the study shows that a sustainable culture of quality is achieved not only through formal quality assurance systems but also through leadership practices that foster trust, participation, and continuous improvement. This study contributes to the development of leadership theory by integrating transformational and value-based perspectives, and provides practical implications for higher education leaders in designing effective and ethical leadership strategies
