Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of creativity and innovation on the success of Small and Medium Enterprises in Makassar City. The sample in this study was 100 SMEs engaged in the culinary sector, which were recorded at the Makassar City Cooperative and SME Service. This study found that there was a positive and significant influence of creativity and innovation on the success of culinary SMEs in Makassar City. The largest correlation of creativity and innovation indicators is market trend adjustment with a value of 0.861, then strategy development with a value of 0.813, and finally the product variation indicator with a value of 0.743. These findings indicate that creativity and innovation have a positive and significant influence on the success of culinary SMEs in Makassar City. These two factors greatly help SMEs to be more adaptive in increasing competitiveness and achieving long-term growth.

Abstract

This research is based on the increasing cases of sexual violence against children in Bima City from 2022 to 2023. This researcher aims to find out the communication strategies of the Child Protection Institution in socializing the sexual violence prevention program in children. In this researcher, a type of qualitative descriptive research is used, where the researcher wants to describe in depth the phenomenon that will be studied later. Meanwhile, the author uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. This researcher also uses data analysis, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. Based on the results of the research, it can be known the stages of communication strategies carried out by the Bima City Child Protection Institute, to conduct field surveys and determine the location of socialization for the prevention of sexual violence in children, targeting credible communities and junior high school/high school students. Socialization was carried out in each sub-district with good student participation. The message of the Child Protection Agency is informative (laws and types of violence), persuasive (evocative emotions, promises, encouragement), and educational (how to report violence), aiming to make the public dare to report and protect children. The selection of the right media supports the communication effectiveness of the Child Protection Agency, facilitates clear messages and constructive feedback, strengthens the child protection program.

Abstract

work motivation on employee performance at the Nunukan Regency Population Control and Family Planning Health Service. This research uses quantitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to employees at the agency. The collected data was then analyzed using statistical techniques to test the relationship between work environment variables, work motivation and employee performance. The research results show that less conducive work environments, such as hot air temperatures and room cleanliness, do not have a significant influence on employee performance. This indicates that although the work environment can influence comfort, its impact on work productivity is not significant. On the other hand, work motivation is proven to have a positive and significant influence on employee performance, with a high level of motivation playing an important role in increasing dedication and task achievement. Overall, both the work environment and work motivation, both individually and collectively, have a significant influence on employee performance. Based on the results of this research, motivation factors are important in improving employee performance, while the work environment also needs to be considered to create a more conducive work atmosphere. This research suggests that agencies should focus more on developing programs that can increase work motivation, such as providing incentives and rewards, as well as improving the physical conditions of the work environment to increase employee comfort.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of OSS-RBA in accelerating business licensing in Nunukan Regency and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, where data is collected through interviews with officials of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) and business actors in Nunukan Regency. The results of the study indicate that OSS-RBA has provided convenience in business licensing through process digitization, reduced bureaucracy, and system integration with various related agencies. The main supporting factors for the implementation of OSS-RBA include regulatory readiness, HR support at DPMPTSP, and ease of online system access. However, there are still obstacles in its implementation, such as limited understanding of business actors regarding the OSS-RBA system, limited internet network infrastructure in several areas, and the complexity of requirements for businesses with medium and high risk levels. To increase the effectiveness of OSS-RBA, efforts are needed to socialize and train business actors, improve technology infrastructure, optimize assistance services, and improve coordination between agencies. With these steps, OSS-RBA is expected to be more optimal in accelerating the business licensing process and encouraging economic growth in Nunukan Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the implementation of online gambling prevention policies among civil servants at the Airport Authority Office Region V Makassar, and to examine the organizational and individual responses of civil servants at the Airport Authority Office Region V Makassar. This research employs a qualitative method, which focuses on gaining an in-depth understanding of social phenomena, experiences, behaviors, or perceptions of individuals or groups within the Airport Authority Office Region V Makassar. The research sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in seven informants who were interviewed, with the validity and reliability of the data having been tested. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the Airport Authority Office Region V Makassar; (2) organizational culture does not have a positive effect on employee performance when examined partially at the Airport Authority Office Region V Makassar; and (3) simultaneously, transformational leadership style and organizational culture have a significant effect on employee performance at the Airport Authority Office Region V Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the human resource development strategies implemented at the Makassar Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim) and to formulate recommendations for improving the effectiveness of refugee services. Employing a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, the research involved key informants, including institutional leaders, administrative staff, the Head of the Personnel Affairs Division, and other relevant stakeholders engaged in refugee management at Rudenim Makassar. The findings reveal that Rudenim Makassar possesses strengths such as experienced personnel and well-established immigration policies. However, challenges remain, including heavy workloads, limited administrative technology, and psychological pressures faced by officers in handling refugees. The SWOT analysis highlights the need to address these weaknesses and threats through strategic initiatives. Recommended strategies include strengthening technical and soft skills training, implementing performance-based evaluation systems, adopting technology-driven HR management practices, and establishing stronger collaboration with international organizations such as UNHCR and IOM. These recommendations underscore the importance of sustainable and innovative policies to enhance employee competencies, thereby ensuring that refugee services at Rudenim Makassar are more professional, responsive, and aligned with global humanitarian dynamics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan upah minimum (UMP), kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan di P.T Diva grup di Kota Makassar. Metode pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Informan penelitian sepuluh orang karyawan P.T, Diva grup. Hasil penelitian menemukan dari sepuluh orang informan menjelaskan karyawan merasa tidak puas dengan gaji yang diterima karena dibawah standard upah minim Provinsi. Karyawan masih bertahan di P.T. Diva grup dan berkinerja dengan baik karena susah mendapatkan pekerjaan ditempat lain dan pendidikan mereka hanya lulusan SLTA. Namun karyawan merasa puas dengan supervisor karena jika ada karyawan yang terlambat supervisor menegur dengan bahasa yang dan mengarahkan karyawan dengan baik. Selain itu tidak ada promosi di P.T Diva grup karena hanya cafe tempat bernyanyi.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi penting dalam membangun bangsa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran komunikasi interpersonal antara pengawas dan kepala sekolah, tingkat motivasi kerja pengawas dan kepala sekolah, serta pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal terhadap motivasi kerja pengawas dan kepala sekolah di SMP Kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan empat kepala sekolah dan empat pengawas di kabupaten Penajam Paser Utara sebagai responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal yang efektif, yang dicirikan oleh keterbukaan, empati, dan dukungan timbal balik, menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis dan kondusif untuk kemajuan pendidikan. Faktor-faktor seperti kesempatan pengembangan diri, kebebasan bertindak, dan imbalan non-finansial meningkatkan motivasi kerja mereka, memungkinkan kontribusi yang maksimal bagi sekolah. Komunikasi yang positif ini, disertai dengan umpan balik konstruktif dan suasana kerja yang mendukung, sangat mempengaruhi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di wilayah tersebut.

Abstract

Abstrak. Sampah plastik merupakan hasil pembuangan laigkungan oleh manusia/ penduduk setelah pemakaian dari manfaat produk buangan plastic tersebut, dimana plastic merupakan salah satu produk industri yang banyak dimanfaatkan manusia sebagai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, dengan adanya aktivitas manusia dalam pemanfataan dan penggunaan produk plastic ini maka salah satu dampaknya adalah akan adanya selalu potensi limbah lingkungan dari plastic tersebut, atau biasanya kita sebut sampah plastik. Akibat dari sampah yang tidak dikelola dengan sebaik-baiknya maka dapat menyebabkan lingkungan menjadi kotor. Pemberdayaan ekonomi keluarga merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah yang dilaksanakan dalam rangka meningkatkan taraf kesejahteraan hidup masyarakat. Salah satu solusi penting dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan PKM (Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat) adalah pelatihan untuk menambah keterampilan dan meningkatkan ekonomi keluarga masyarakat  ekonomi lemah di linkungan Kelurahan Pa’baeng- baeng Kecamatan Tamalate Kota Makassar. Diantara pemanfaatan limbah bahan bekas adalah diantaranya limbah botol plastic, pemanfaatan bahan bekas plastic tersebut termasuk pelatihan Pembuatan  kursi atau sofa berbahan botol plastik bekas, serta pemanfataan bahan bekas dari ranting, kayu, dan bambu.Kata Kunci: Pemberdayaan, ekonomi lemah, limbah.

Abstract

This study explores how transactional leadership, short term training, motivation, and job satisfaction influence project success within the event and wedding organizer industry in Makassar, a sector characterized by temporary teams and heavy reliance on freelance workers. Using a quantitative survey approach, data were gathered from 134 freelancers selected through purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression was applied to examine both the individual and simultaneous effects of the four predictors. The results show that all variables significantly and positively contribute to project success, with transactional leadership standing out as the strongest determinant, followed by job satisfaction, motivation, and short yet targeted training. These findings reveal that successful event projects depend not only on technical execution but also on the clarity of leadership, the relevance of preparatory training, and the psychological engagement of freelance workers. The study highlights that even in fast paced and short term project environments, clear guidance and structured supervision help freelancers orient themselves quickly toward task demands. Focused training enhances readiness and reduces errors, while motivation and job satisfaction strengthen commitment and foster smoother collaboration. Together, these elements form a human resource framework that supports consistent and reliable project performance. The results contribute to the growing understanding of HR management in gig based work structures and underscore the importance of designing adaptive leadership and training practices that align with freelance realities. The study also offers practical implications for event managers seeking to improve project outcomes and suggests that future research may benefit from exploring additional variables such as organizational culture and team communication.
