Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi nilai karakter dalam cerita rakyat Bungo sebagai sarana pembelajaran sejarah di sekolah menengah atas (SMA). Cerita rakyat Bungo tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai hiburan, tetapi juga sebagai sumber pembelajaran yang kaya akan nilai-nilai karakter, seperti kerja keras, kejujuran, dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Pada pembelajaran sejarah, nilai-nilai ini diintegrasikan melalui berbagai metode, termasuk diskusi, proyek kreatif, dan presentasi, yang secara aktif melibatkan peserta didik dalam memahami hubungan antara cerita rakyat dan peristiwa sejarah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan cerita rakyat dalam pembelajaran sejarah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap nilai-nilai budaya dan menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap sejarah serta identitas bangsa. Selain itu, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar pengembang kurikulum dan guru lebih mengoptimalkan penggunaan cerita rakyat dalam proses pembelajaran, serta menekankan perlunya studi lebih lanjut untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas metode ini di berbagai tingkat pendidikan. Metodologi penelitian ini mencakup: (1) konteks penelitian yang terdiri dari lokasi dan waktu penelitian, (2) bentuk dan strategi penelitian, (3) data dan sumber data, (4) teknik pengumpulan data, (5) teknik pengambilan sampel, (6) validitas data penelitian, dan (7) teknik analisis data serta penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi untuk memastikan keakuratan interpretasi hasil penelitian.

Abstract

Pentingnya peningkatan Statistical Literacy (SL) menjadi semakin nyata di tengah-tengah era informasi dan teknologi yang terus berkembang. Penelitian   ini bertujuan untuk melihat proses pengembangan e-modul statistik deskriptif berbasis problem based learning terintegrasi Isu Pendidikan Nasional untuk meningkatkan SL mahasiswa, dengan menerapkan metode penelitian berjenis Research and Development berdesign Plomp. Objek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. Penelitian ini menghasilkan nilai kevalidan materi 93% berkategori sangat kuat, kevalidan media sebesar 96,65% berkategori sangat kuat, dan kevalidan Bahasa sebesar 94,40% berkategori sangat kuat. Selanjutnya  menghasilkan nilai kepraktisan sebesar 69,84% berkategori praktis dan menghasilkan nilai keefektifan dari hasil belajar mahasiswa sebesar 85,71% berkategori sangat baik. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan e-modul statistik deskriptif berbasis PBL terintegrasi isu pendidikan indonesia untuk meningkatkan SL dalam kategori sangat baik. Kemudian,  peneliti melihat ada gap yang membutuhkan penelitian lebih lanjut terkait pengembangan e-modul statistik inferensial berbasis PBL terintegrasi Isu-isu dibidang lainya seperti lingkungan, kesehatan dan ekonomi dalam upaya meningkatkan SL mahasiswa.

Abstract

21st century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication, are the main demands in the modern world of education. However, Muhammadiyah teachers in Bungo Regency still face the challenges of the times in implementing learning approaches that support mastery of these skills. Observation results show that most teachers have limitations in mastering Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) and integrating technology into learning. Community service activities aim to improve teachers' understanding and skills in implementing Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) through intensive Workshop-based training. The method used in this community service activity applies the Community-Based Education approach, which involves teachers as active partners in the training process. This activity includes three main stages: situation analysis to identify teacher needs, implementation of practice-based workshops, and evaluation of the impact of training on improving teacher pedagogical competence. The workshop includes materials on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), project-based learning strategies (Project-Based Learning), and the use of technology in teaching. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the PK and TPACK concepts, as well as an increase in their skills in designing and implementing innovative learning methods. In addition, a teacher learning community was formed that supports reflection and continuous improvement of competencies. Thus, this community service activity provides solutions to the problems faced by partners and contributes to improving the quality of education in Muhammadiyah schools in Bungo Regency and invited participants who attended the workshop activities that have been implemented.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of improving mathematics learning outcomes by using the Think Pair and Share learning model assisted by Pair Card media for fifth-grade students at SDN 201/VI Lubuk Napal. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), in which the researcher acts as the implementer, while the teacher and peers serve as observers. The research design follows the classroom action research model consisting of two cycles. The study was carried out in the even semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. The subjects of the study were 13 fifth-grade students of SDN 201/VI Lubuk Napal. The object of the study was the learning process and students’ learning outcomes. Data collection techniques included observation, testing, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tables and graphs. The results of the study showed an improvement in both the learning process and learning outcomes. The learning process in Cycle I reached 84.61%, and increased to 100% in Cycle II. As for the learning outcomes, 84.62% of students achieved the learning goal in Cycle I, and this increased to 100% in Cycle II, indicating an improvement of 16.38%. Therefore, the use of the Think Pair and Share learning model assisted by Pair Card media in mathematics lessons can improve both the learning process and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 201/VI Lubuk Napal

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan juga motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan juga motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS siswa kelas V SD IT Al Akhyar Bungo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian Kuantitatif, jenis Pra-Eksperimental tipe One-Grup Pretest-Posttest Design. Penelitian ini menggunakan kelas eksperimen, dengan sampel penelitian kelas VA. Untuk menguji hipotesis pada penelitian maka peneliti menggunakan uji statistic non parametric jenis uji Wilcoxon dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25. Hasil output uji Wilcoxon pada variable kemampuan pemecahan masalah menunjukan bahwa signifikasi 0,002 < 0,05 yang berarti Ha1 diterima, sedangkan pada variabel motivasi belajar menunjukkan bahwa signifikasi 0,001 < 0,05 yang berarti Ha2 juga diterima. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis dapat dikatakan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS  kelas V dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah memiliki pengaruh dibandingkan dengan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of the types of characters that are formed in basic student leadership training activities at SMPN 1 Kayutanam, obstacles that occur in the implementation of character education in basic student leadership training activities at SMPN 1 Kayutanam and efforts to overcome obstacles in implementing character education in basic student leadership training activities at SMPN 1 Kayutanam. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive method, which was taken using a purpose sampling technique. The data were collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data validity test used is source triangulation. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out using techniques from Milles and Huberman, namely: (1) data collection process, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation and (4) conclusion drawing or verification. Informants in this study were principals, teachers and also students who took part in basic student leadership training activities. The results showed that: (1) The types of characters formed in the basic student leadership training activities at SMPN 1 Kayutanam were: (a) Discipline character formation, (b) responsibility, (c) environmental care, (d) religious, (e) appreciate achievements. (2) The obstacles that occur in the implementation of character education in basic student leadership training activities at SMPN 1 Kayutanam are: (a) not all students are interested and interested in participating in extracurricular activities. Basic student leadership training, (b) There are still many parties who underestimated students' basic leadership training activities, (c) lack of basic student leadership training or lack of interest in extracurricular activities for student leadership basic training at school, (3) Efforts to overcome obstacles to implementing character education in student leadership basic training activities at SMPN 1 Kayutanam, namely: (a) Providing strict rules for students, (b) Designing learning strategies that have regular character planting programs, (c) Routinely instilling a good attitude, (d) Always admonishing (e) Always being a good teacher .

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas dampak pelatihan daring melalui Zoom Cloud Meeting dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas guru di beberapa provinsi di Indonesia. Pelatihan dirancang untuk meningkatkan penguasaan teknologi, mengintegrasikan kurikulum terkini, dan mengembangkan keterampilan pengajaran inovatif. Populasi penelitian melibatkan guru dari berbagai provinsi, dengan sampel yang dipilih secara stratifikasi. Metode penelitian mencakup analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif, termasuk survei daring dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penguasaan teknologi dan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Terbentuknya komunitas pembelajaran profesional daring juga menciptakan kolaborasi antar guru dari berbagai provinsi. Perubahan perilaku pengajaran, pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang kurikulum, dan peningkatan keterampilan pembelajaran aktif menjadi pencapaian positif. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam peningkatan kualitas pengajaran guru di era digital. Evaluasi berkelanjutan dan penyesuaian program pelatihan direkomendasikan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan dan relevansi inisiatif ini dalam jangka panjang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pengembangan program pelatihan sejenis di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dalam dunia pendidikan membuka peluang besar bagi peningkatan mutu pembelajaran. Salah satu inovasi yang menonjol adalah ChatGPT (Generative Pretrained Transformer), yaitu model kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang mampu menghasilkan teks berkualitas tinggi menyerupai tulisan manusia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi potensi pemanfaatan ChatGPT dalam konteks pendidikan, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kreativitas guru pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn). ChatGPT dapat dimanfaatkan dalam berbagai aspek pembelajaran, antara lain sebagai sumber pencarian bahan ajar, penyedia materi pembelajaran yang relevan, perancang soal evaluasi, serta alat bantu dalam menyusun rencana pembelajaran yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan siswa. Namun, implementasinya tidak terlepas dari tantangan, seperti kekhawatiran terhadap keaslian informasi yang dihasilkan dan keterbatasan dalam penyajian konten yang sesuai dengan kurikulum PPKn. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pendekatan yang seimbang dalam integrasi teknologi ini, termasuk pemberian pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru agar mampu menggunakan ChatGPT secara efektif, etis, dan bertanggung jawab. Penggunaan ChatGPT dalam pembelajaran PPKn berpotensi mendorong inovasi pembelajaran dan memperkaya pengalaman belajar peserta didik

Abstract

Based on preliminary observations, the inadequate quality of the learning process and learning results in the Science, Environment, and Social Studies (IPAS) topic inspired the fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 088/II Sungai Mengkuang to participate in this classroom action research project.  This study's goal was to use the Problem Based Learning (PBL) methodology to enhance IPAS learning outcomes.  “Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles, was the research methodology employed.  The phases of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection made up each cycle.  32 fourth-graders served as the study's subjects.  Test instruments, instructor observation sheets, and student observation sheets were among the methods used to collect data”.  Both quantitative and qualitative methods of data analysis were used. The findings demonstrated that the PBL model's implementation enhanced IPAS's learning outcomes and process.  An average score of 90.5% in Cycle II compared to 71.5% in Cycle I demonstrated the teacher's progress in their teaching methodology.  The average percentage of learning activities completed by students rose with each cycle, from 37.5% in Cycle I to 68.5% in Cycle II.  Furthermore, in Cycle II, the IPAS learning outcomes rose from 53% in Cycle I to 78%.  Thus, it can be said that fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 088/II Sungai Mengkuang benefit from the application of the Problem Based Learning approach in terms of their IPAS learning outcomes

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence has driven the need for innovative learning materials capable of addressing the demands of digital literacy, media ethics, and twenty-first-century citizenship competencies. This study aims to analyze the needs for developing an Artificial Intelligence–based Civic Education textbook as an effort to strengthen the concept of the Smart and Good Citizen in higher education. The research employed a Sequential Explanatory Mixed-Methods approach involving 107 students and 4 lecturers through questionnaires, interviews, and curriculum document analysis. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to map essential content, digital features, and relevant citizenship competencies. The findings show that 87% of respondents require an AI-integrated textbook to enhance students’ understanding of digital ethics and responsible AI use, thereby fostering citizens with integrity in the technological era. The study also reveals the need for adaptive learning features, digital democracy case studies, and the integration of AI-use ethics. The results further highlight a significant gap between conventional Civic Education materials and the demands of technology-based learning. The study concludes that the development of an AI-based Civic Education textbook is highly necessary to support contextual, interactive, and technologically relevant learning, and to effectively shape students into Smart and Good Citizens.
