Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of employee performance at the West Sinjai District Office from the aspects of work quantity, work quality and time utilization. This type of research uses qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, direct documentation interviews in the field, the informants in this study consisted of 3 people. The results of this research show that in terms of the performance indicators used, they include: (1) the quantity of work after providing additional income, employees are more active in providing information to the public (2) the quality of work of West Sinjai District office employees is seen from the perspective of knowledge regarding their duties and obligations in accordance with each employee is able to understand their field. Even the targets or results are as expected (3) utilization of time Looking at the results of the interview above, it appears that there are still employees who lack discipline even though employees have been given additional employee income as additional income in the hope that employees can work optimally and optimally in carrying out their duties.

Abstract

The application of e-government in the context of realizing good governance was a form of improving the quality of public services, increasing active participation in providing information to the public, and increasing the need to be more effective in providing information. This study aimed to determine the implementation of e-government in BPJS Kesehatan in Lasusua District. This study used a qualitative examination procedure. Data was collected through techniques; interviews, observations and documentation. The results of research regarding the application of e-government in improving BPJS Health services in Lasusua District showed that; (1) the willingness of the BPJS head to implement e-government in providing services (2) for the government to provide the benefits of open, participatory, innovative and accountable governance. The benefit for the community  made it easier to obtain health services. (3) resources, including human resources and financial resources to support the sustainability of e-government implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how effective the Sikarannuang Website is in the Panakkukang District Office, Makassar City. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive type. The results of this research can be seen from the Relative Adventage Aspect (plus value), which shows that the Sikarannuang Website has more value compared to before and can be accessed anytime and anywhere. From the Compatibility aspect, it shows that the Sikarannuang Website is in accordance with what the community needs, namely improving public services. In terms of complexity, it shows that the Sikarannuang Website is usually constrained by networks and people who don't understand the use of cellphones. In terms of Observability, it shows that the Sikarannuang Website is easy to understand because it has a simple and easy-to-understand display. In terms of Triability (can be tried), it shows that the Sikarannuang Website is proven to be tried

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the effectiveness of making digital identity cards based on the digital population identity (IKD) application at the Makassar City Population and Civil Registry Service. This type of research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research type, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research show that the implementation of the use of the IKD application has been effective because from the beginning of the implementation of the IKD Application, namely at the end of 2021, the number of people using Digital KTPs was 420 people, then in the middle of 2023 IKD users increased, namely 15,000 people who used IKD, then at the end of 2023 there was a significant increase, namely 50,000 people who used IKD application-based Identity Cards. The IKD application can make things easier for people because people no longer need to queue to make a Digital KTP because the application can be downloaded directly on the Playstore on Android or iPhone cellphones.

Abstract

Corruption is a problem that can have an impact on Indonesia's development both in terms of the economy, education and even the government system. The aim of this research is to contribute to the understanding and improvement of law enforcement actions related to corruption at the local level. This study used qualitative research methods. The data for this research was obtained through observation, interviews, documentation. To get an accurate analysis of the results of this research, use Nvivo 12 Plus Software. The research results show that the strategy for handling corruption cases by the Makassar City Police includes an approach that involves system improvements, education and repressive measures. The main focus is to supervise strategic projects, increase public understanding, and encourage participation and law enforcement with the principles of transparency and integrity. The overall strategy aims to effectively handle and prevent corruption cases in Makassar City.

Abstract

This study purposed to determine the Implementation of Employee Work Motivation Strategy at the Bira Village Office, Tamalanrea District, Makassar City. This studyused  a qualitative research method with a descriptive type of research. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show 5 indicators of implementing employee motivation strategies at the Bira Village Office, such as 1) Involving, that the leadership involved employees before making decisions and involving them to attend community events hadrun well. 2) Communication, that the leadership had a good communicationso that have a good relationship between the employees and the leadership of Bira Village. 3) Recognition, that the leadership provided rewards that were in accordance with the performance of their employees such as providing small gifts, certificates, and also giving direct congratulations. 4) Delegated authority, that the leadership enforces this delegation of authority to give responsibility and trust to its employees so that they did not an obligation. 5) Reciprocal Attention, that the Leader gave permission and fulfilled the facilities in accordance with the work of his employees so that they could carry out their work as expected.Keywords: Strategi, Work Motivation.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how far the level of effectiveness of preventing maladministration of education by the Ombudsman of Makassar City. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive type. There were seven informants in this study. The research data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Validation of the data is done through triangulation of sources, techniques, and the past time is analyzed through data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate the effectiveness of preventing maladministration in the education sector at the Makassar City Ombudsman in terms of Productivity has been effective from the report, which has been completed, the adaptability has been effective seen from the Ombudsman's relationship with other agencies, job satisfaction has not been maximized, this is evidenced in the provision of salaries, rewards and community satisfaction that has not been fully effective, the search for resources is still not effective, this is evidenced by the education in the field provided that is not appropriate, the intellectual quality and skills that need to be improved as well as the facilities and infrastructure that need to be completed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the Management of Internet Interference Complaints by Indihome Customers at Plasa Telkom Witel Makassar. The type of research used is a qualitative research method, the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show 3 (three) implementation processes in the Management of Internet Interference Complaints for Indihome Customers at Plasa Telkom Witel Makassar, namely: (1). The management of complaints of internet disturbances to customers of indihome Plasa Telkom Witel Makassar has been said to be very good in overcoming various problems experienced by customers. (2). The supporting factors in the telkom witel makassar plaza in managing internet disturbance complaints have been said to be good in repairing internet disturbance complaints, because the facilities at the telkom witel makassar plaza are complete in fixing a problem that occurs on the internet network. (3). The inhibiting factor in the plasa telkom witel Makassar in managing internet disturbance complaints is not yet good because the materials commonly used in repairing internet disturbances.Keywords: Management System, Supporting Factors and Inhibiting Factors

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the language varieties used in netizen comments on public figure Laura Meizani Mawardi (Lolly) on the Instagram social media platform. The research focuses on identifying the language variety, characteristics, and sociolinguistic context behind the comments. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through documentation and observation of Lolly’s Instagram account comments. Data analysis was conducted by examining linguistic aspects, including informal language varieties, the use of prokemic language, code mixing, and other linguistic variations. The results show that netizen comments show the complexity of language use influenced by social factors, age, cultural background, and the context of interaction on social media. The dominant language variety is slang, characterised by abbreviations, emoticons, and expressions that tend to be free and limitless. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of communication on social media and the language phenomenon that develops among internet users.

Abstract

Providing services cannot be separated from service ethics which of course has an impact on public satisfaction with the services provided at the Enrekang District Office. This research certainly discusses public service ethics which are summarized in four indicators, namely Equality, Quity, Loyalty and Responsibility. The research results showed that the four indicators were still far from what was expected, where the four indicators were not included in a Standard Operating Procedure. The absence of Standard Operating Procedures is a benchmark for the services provided by the Enrekang District Office. So in this case, presenting Standard Operating Procedures is intended as a guideline in providing public services which of course cannot be separated from the four indicators of public service ethics discussed. Therefore, the recommendation from researchers is of course that the establishment of Standard Operating Procedures must be implemented at the Enrekang District Office as an effort to realize excellent public services.
