Abstract

The lack of innovative learning media for geography material is something that needs to be updated immediately. In line with that, the high usage smartphones with the Android operating system has the potential to be used as a basis for making an innovation of learning media. Learning geography plays a role in providing knowledge, skills and attitudes about caring for the environment, which is currently seen that very few students have an attitude of caring for the environment, through the form of integration between learning materials and Android technology, it can be a breakthrough for learning activities. Therefore, this study aims to develop an Android-based interactive digital learning media innovation for geography learning in high school. This research approach is research and development (RnD) which adopts the ADDIE model, focusing on the development and assessment of android-based interactive media products. This research will involve one media expert, one material expert and three teachers. The data collection technique used a non-test technique with the instrument, namely a validation questionnaire or feasibility test for media experts, material experts and teachers. The results of the questionnaire will be analyzed descriptively and with using percentages. The results showed that android-based interactive media obtained an average percentage score of 96% of media experts and three teachers who were included in the 'decent without revision' category, while the results of material experts and three teachers obtained an average score of 85.8% which was included in the category 'feasible without revision', with android-based interactive media developed in this study obtained the decision that it was feasible to be tested and used for students in the learning process.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has resulted in transformations in various fields of human life, one of which is education. The Covid-19 pandemic has forced the learning process to be carried out from home. All students, including deaf students, must study from home, and parents are required to be able to guide their children during the learning process at home. This study aims to explore the implementation of learning for deaf students during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses case study research method. Subjects involved in this study included teachers, deaf students, and parents. Data was collected using in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The analysis process was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The results showed that during the Covid-19 pandemic, teachers made special teaching materials and conducted weekly assessments manually to facilitate deaf students. Deaf students or parents often go to school to pick up new teaching materials and bring last week's assessment results. This situation makes teachers need to make teaching for the deaf more simple and interesting to improve independent learning for students. The implication of this research is that the government provides special educational media for deaf children.

Abstract

Research methodology is a mandatory course in higher education. Students are expected to be able to compile research and solve problems according to their field of study. However, many students still have difficulty operationalizing research competency indicators. This research aims to reveal learning needs through the experience of lecturers teaching and students learning in research methodology courses. This research uses an interpretive relativity paradigm with a narrative inquiry approach. Lecturers and students as participants. Data collection techniques using interviews. Data were analyzed using content analysis. By exploring lecturers' teaching experiences and students' learning experiences, information on learning needs is obtained. The learning needs include learning outcomes, literacy technology, learning time, lecturer's teaching experience, obstacles or shortcomings faced by lecturers, and the final learning product. Through the link and match between the learning needs of students and the fulfillment of learning needs from lecturers, a research methodology learning needs analysis is obtained, including learning outcomes, technological literacy, learning time, lecturer teaching experience, obstacles lecturers face, and the final learning product.

This research is an RnD research, namely the development of media or sports equipment for children with physical disabilities. The research method used is the ADDIE method. The subjects of this study were two children with physical disabilities in SLB YPAC Surakarta. Data collection is obtained from library books, then looking for supporting paper data. After that, the data collected is analyzed, designing the development of a racing wheelchair, implementing and evaluating so that a conclusion can be drawn. Secondary data were obtained from literature books that underlie special education technology for children. Primary data is obtained from papers or journals on official websites on the internet. The data that has been collected is compiled and then analyzed, to obtain an appropriate conclusion. The results showed that children with physical disabilities need a racing wheelchair by the specifications of their needs, with high quality and affordable prices. Expert validators, practitioners, and users respond positively to the model developed through aspects of attractiveness, motivation, and convenience. The racing wheelchair design that has been developed is effective as a sporting tool for racing wheelchairs based on ergonomics and anthropometry through aspects of media convenience, display of media results and technical quality, the effectiveness of sports equipment. Conclusion: Children with physical impairment in doing sports activities need anthropometric and ergonomic local-based racing wheelchair technology.
