Abstract

Tujuan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk memberikan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang teknologi informasi di masa depan bagi anak-anak Panti Asuhan Nur Ilahi Padang. Sebagaimana kita ketahui, teknologi semakin cepat berkembang dan jika kita tidak mengikuti perkembangannya maka akan membuat kita ketinggalan dalam menghadapi perkembangan zaman. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Panti Asuhan Nur Ilahi Kota Padang. Kegiatan PKM ini diikuti oleh 17 orang siswa yang ada di Panti Asuhan. Materi yang diberikan berupa pengenalan teknologi masa depan dalam bentuk video. Hasil dari kegiatan PKM ini memberikan gambaran pengetahuan teknologi di masa depan sehingga anak-anak panti lebih melek teknologi. Harapan dari anak-anak panti adalah agar kegiatan ini dilakukan secara berkala dengan topik yang sesuai dengan perkembangan terknologi terbaru.

Abstract

The problem that occurs in one of the high schools is that there is no online-based English exam system, and they still use paper for their assessments. This makes teachers unable to give exams to students if they do not attend school. The purpose of this research is to create an online exam system to facilitate exam administration using the Model View Controller (MVC) to assess online English exams. The analytical method uses the System Usability Scale (SUS), to collect data using an electronic test (e-Test).Unifield Modeling Language (UML), a visual modeling technique used in designing and building object-oriented software for E-Test applications.The results showed that the use of the E-test application in a comparison class in English subjects could improve student learning outcomes to a higher level, from a score of 81.7 to 90.9. Compared to the control class, there was a slight increase, namely an increase in value from 71.5 to 75.8. This proves that the E-test application is used effectively by students for English subjects.

Abstract

The problem that occurred in Acrylic Village was the craftsman's lack of knowledge about how to make a mini studio and tricks for making product photos using digital techniques. The aim of this PKM is to hold training on making mini studios and making product photos using digital techniques in Android applications. The activity implementation method includes four stages, namely: program planning, implementation, observation and evaluation. Evaluation of this activity is carried out after the activity takes place. Based on the results of the questionnaire filled out by the respondents, it was found that 87% of the members of the craftsmen did not know about mini studios and techniques for making product photos using the digital photoroom technique, and 13% stated that they already knew about this technique. For responses regarding the material presented by the resource persons it was useful for business development or adding insight, namely 89% stated it was very useful and 11% stated it was useful. The participants' responses regarding the way the resource person delivered the material, namely 73% stated it was very clear and 27% stated it was clear.

Abstract

Peningkatan pengetahuan dan informasi teknologi dalam masyarakat menuntut perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran, terutama di bidang pendidikan. Meskipun teknologi informasi telah berkembang pesat, metode pembelajaran konvensional masih dominan. Akses teknologi, terutama internet, telah membuka peluang baru dalam pendidikan, memungkinkan pembelajaran daring yang fleksibel. Pendidikan saat ini tidak terlepas dari perkembangan Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (IPTEK), namun tidak semua anak memiliki akses yang sama terhadap pendidikan. Panti asuhan menjadi salah satu alternatif bagi anak-anak yang membutuhkan pengasuhan di luar keluarga Kegiatan pelatihan pemanfaatan internet secara efektif di Panti Asuhan Putra Darul Ma’arif Al Karimiyah Padang dilakukan melalui dua sesi. Sesi pertama berfokus pada penjelasan tentang cara memanfaatkan internet dalam pembelajaran daring, sementara sesi kedua melibatkan tanya jawab dan kuis untuk memastikan pemahaman materi. Tim PKM turun langsung ke lapangan untuk memberikan pelatihan, namun beberapa kendala teknis seperti keterbatasan perangkat dan jaringan internet menyulitkan pelaksanaan kegiatan. Meskipun demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik kepada siswa Panti Asuhan tentang penggunaan internet dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Randang Padang is a typical food of the Minang people which is very well known, even abroad. Currently Randang Padang Elok does not yet have an online system, because there is no effective marketing media to explain in detail the products available at Randang Padang Elok, and sales transactions are still carried out manually where sales data and product data are recorded manually, into a ledger , so that to make a report the company officer has to manually recapitulate data files. The purpose of this research is to build an e-commerce-based website to make it easier for this home industry to carry out a sales system and product monitoring. This system was created using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall method. Making this system using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of this study can make it easier for Randang Padang Elok to carry out an online sales system, find out order conditions, and expand the marketing area and increase the number of consumers so that product sales information media will be more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology, if we don't follow it, it will make us left behind in facing the times, especially in the field of education. For this reason, it is necessary to socialize to students at the Orphanage, how to use the internet wisely. The purpose of this Community Service (PKM) is outreach to provide increased knowledge about the impact and influence of using the internet for students. This activity was carried out at the Aisyiyah Putra Orphanage in Nanggalo District, Padang City. The method used in carrying out this activity is the lecture method and the question and answer method and quizzes. The material provided is in the form of socialization on how to use the internet wisely by knowing its positive and negative impacts and their influence on students. The result of this PKM activity is an increase in technological knowledge for students about the impact and influence of the internet for students, both the positive and negative impacts on students.

Abstract

The use of technology on computer devices in the teaching and learning process as a job support plays a very important role in an organization or school. The main function of this technological device is to increase efficiency in learning. Based on the above, Metamedia University lecturers helped find solutions to the above problems by holding community service activities, namely with the theme of using Video Scribe Sparkol as a medium for making assignments and training for SMA 3 Muhammadiyah Padang students. The purpose of this activity is for teachers to be able to make training materials for students, in order to make teaching more interesting, so that students' motivation increases and is able to eliminate boredom and train students' thinking levels from simple thinking to complex thinking. The method used in this training is in the form of lectures, training materials and questions and answers about the use of Scribe Sparkol's video features. The result of this training activity is that it can help students at SMA 3 Muhammadiyah in dealing with increasingly advanced technological developments, especially in maximizing the use of the features contained in the Scribe Sparkol video.

Abstract

Pada saat ini, masih banyak perguruan tinggi yang menggunakan metode Teacher Centered Learning dalam proses pembelajarannya. Hal ini membuat mahasiswa kurang kreatif dan mandiri dalam kegiatan proses pembelajaran maupun dalam pembuatan tugas yang diberikan oleh Dosen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode Collaboration, yaitu metode pembelajaran berbasis kolaborasi di mana siswa bekerja sama untuk menyelesaikan tugas atau proyek dalam kelompok atau tim. Metode ini tidak hanya meningkatkan keterampilan kreatif, kerjasama, dan pemecahan masalah, tetapi juga mengajarkan pentingnya mendengarkan dan menghargai pendapat orang lain. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep dasar pengembangan sistem yaitu System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan model Waterfall yang digambarkan dengan alat bantu perancangan sistem Unified Modeling Language (UML). Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa pengembangan aplikasi E-learning di perguruan tinggi yang dapat meningkatkan inovasi, kreatifitas dan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam proses pembelajaran, serta dosen dapat mengolah nilai mahasiswa dengan lebih cepat dan praktis dengan sistem yang terkomputerisasi.

Abstract

The very rapid development of information technology has made websites an inseparable part of an educational institution as well as services for the academic community, lecturers, students and education staff. One of the learning applications used for continuity of learning is E-Assignment. E-Assignment is a learning media application that functions to collect and assess student assignments online. The problem that occurs is that there are still students who are not satisfied with using the E-Assignment application. The aim of this research is to analyze and measure the quality of E-Assignment in the lecture process among Metamedia University students. The method used to measure the quality of the E-Assignment website is WebQual 4.0. This research was carried out by utilizing research instruments based on three groups of WebQual 4.0 indicators and then distributing them to students of the Information Systems study program. WebQual 4.0 is an instrument that assesses the quality of a website from the end user's perspective. The tools and applications used to test the relationship between variables from WebQual 4.0 and user satisfaction are SPSS 20 and Matlab. The research results show that the overall score for the WebQual 4.0 indicator obtained is 69% in the Good category, so that users assess that the E-Assignment application is quality as a web learning medium in higher education. Abstract

Kampung Akrilik merupakan salah satu dari Kampung Tematik yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah. Kampung Tematik adalah sebuah inovasi yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah untuk mengatasi kemiskinan dan pemerataan pembangunan. Permasalahan yang terjadi di Kampung Akrilik, tepatnya di ZhaiZha Accesories antara lain belum adanya fasilitas untuk mempromosikan produk kerajinan kampung akrilik dan minimnya pengetahuan pengrajin produk Kampung Akrilik tentang cara mempromosikan produknya di media sosial secara teknik digital. Solusi dari permasalahan ini adalah perlunya dibangun website yang berfungsi untuk pemasaran produk dalam bentuk aplikasi e-commerce. Metode yang digunakan dalam membangun aplikasi e-commerce ini adalah Systems Development Life Cycle (SLDC) dengan model waterfall, dengan alat bantu perancangan sistem UML. Metode yang digunakan untuk pemasaran produk adalah metode Cross Selling. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah aplikasi e-commerce yang dapat membantu dalam pemasaran produk kampung akrilik, sekaligus sebagai fasilitas dalam mempromosikan produk melalui media website.
