Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of professional development activities organized by the Mai Tana'o Mena community at SMP Negeri 1 Wera, Bima, with a focus on enhancing teachers' academic knowledge and professional skills. The primary objectives of this research are to describe the implementation of training activities, assess their impact on teachers' knowledge and professionalism, and identify changes in teaching practices and challenges encountered. The methodology employed includes qualitative analysis of data collected through observations, interviews, and surveys of training participants.The findings reveal that the community activities significantly improved teachers' knowledge and skills. The training and workshops updated teachers' understanding of the curriculum and more effective teaching methods, positively impacting their teaching practices. Teachers reported the adoption of more innovative teaching techniques and better assessment strategies, as well as increased motivation and confidence after participating in these activities.However, the study also identifies several challenges, such as resource shortages, communication issues, and resistance to change. Resource shortages and communication problems hinder collaborative effectiveness, while resistance to change indicates the need for additional support and effective change management strategies.Overall, the professional development activities through the Mai Tana'o Mena community have made a significant contribution to improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 1 Wera. The study suggests the need for improvements in resource allocation and communication systems, as well as change management strategies to address challenges and maximize the benefits of professional development activities.

Abstract

Metode pembelajaran yang masih bersifat tradisional, seperti ceramah dan pengisian lembar kerja, menyebabkan siswa sulit untuk mengaitkan teori yang dipelajari dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penerapan teknologi pembelajaran yang lebih modern, seperti Metaverse, bisa menjadi solusi yang efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengenalan dan menguji efektivitas penerapan pembelajaran berbasis Metaverse pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas V SDN 64 Buntu Ampang. Pembelajaran berbasis Metaverse yang menggunakan media 3 dimensi (3D) menawarkan pengalaman belajar interaktif yang memungkinkan siswa untuk lebih mudah memahami konsep-konsep pelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen pre-test dan post-test. Sampel penelitian menggunakan total sampling, di mana seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 64 Buntu Ampang menjadi objek penelitian sebanyak 22 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis metaverse. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa, dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest sebesar 23%. Berdasarkan hasil ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis Metaverse dengan  media 3D dapat menjadi solusi alternatif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS di SDN 64 Buntu Ampang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) pada jenjang SMA di Kecamatan Wera, Kabupaten Bima. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap tiga kepala sekolah SMA Negeri di wilayah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan strategi kepemimpinan transformasional dan adaptif yang terbagi ke dalam empat aspek utama, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, serta pengawasan dan evaluasi. Strategi perencanaan dilakukan secara kolaboratif dan kontekstual dengan melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Dalam pengorganisasian, pembagian tugas dilakukan berdasarkan kompetensi dan minat guru, sedangkan pelaksanaan ditekankan pada pendekatan berbasis proyek dan penguatan motivasi. Evaluasi diarahkan pada penilaian proses serta pembentukan karakter siswa. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan modul, literasi guru, dan partisipasi orang tua. Sebagai solusi, kepala sekolah menginisiasi pelatihan internal, membangun kolaborasi eksternal, dan memanfaatkan media digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang reflektif, kolaboratif, dan berbasis nilai sangat berperan dalam menyukseskan implementasi kurikulum merdeka melalui Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), dan menjadi model strategis yang dapat direplikasi di konteks sekolah menengah lainnya.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes Mart.) organic matter on water retention at pF 2.54 and pF 4.2, available water content, and bulk density (BD). The research method used was a factorial randomized block design. The first factor was the sorghum variety, which consisted of 2 levels, namely, V1 (variety) and V2 (Kawali). The second factor was the dose of water hyacinth organic matter, which consisted of 5 levels, namely P0 (without the application of water hyacinth organic matter), P1 (10 tons.ha-1), P2 (20 tons.ha-1), P3 (30 tons.ha-1), and P4 (40 tons.ha-1). Water retention was measured at pF 2.54 and pF 4.2 using a pressure plate apparatus and pressure membrane apparatus, respectively, and BD was measured using the ring method. The results showed that the treatment of organic matter application and varieties had a significant effect on water retention at pF 2.54, available water content, and BD with the best treatment of 40 tons of organic matter application and Kawali variety, but not affecting water retention at pF 4.2. There was no interaction between water hyacinth organic matter and sorghum varieties to improve water retention and BD. The highest water retention at pF 2.54 was 32.24% (P4), and the highest available water content was 11.67% (P4) but not significantly different from P3 (11.55%); the lowest BD was 1.11 g.cm-3 (P4) but not significantly different from P3 (1.13 g.cm-3). A very strong positive linear and negative linear correlation exists between available water content and BD with plant height, panicle length, and sorghum yield. Abstract

The degradation of soil physical and chemical properties in intensive vegetable cultivation systems necessitates effective and sustainable amelioration strategies. This study aimed to examine the effect of compost dosage on soil Bulk Density, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium in vegetable land. The study employed a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three compost dosage treatments (P0 = 0 ton ha⁻¹, P1 = 15 ton ha⁻¹, P2 = 30 ton ha⁻¹) and three replications. The measured parameters included Bulk Density (BD), total nitrogen (N), available phosphorus (P), and exchangeable potassium (K). Data were analyzed using ANOVA followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% significance level. Results indicated that compost application significantly affected all tested parameters. Bulk Density decreased significantly from 1.44 g cm⁻³ (P0) to 1.28 g cm⁻³ (P2). Total nitrogen increased from 0.15% (P0) to 0.21% (P2). Available phosphorus increased very significantly from 7.71 ppm (P0) to 11.53 ppm (P2), while exchangeable potassium increased from 0.13 cmol kg⁻¹ (P0) to 0.29 cmol kg⁻¹ (P2). The P2 treatment (30 ton ha⁻¹) was the most effective dosage for restoring soil physical and chemical quality in intensive horticultural systems.

Abstract

Understanding the important characteristics of the topography of Mohupomba Island through contour and slope analysis using the QGIS application is the focus of this study. This study aims to identify variations in elevation and slope to support sustainable land use planning, particularly for agricultural development and disaster mitigation. The method used was qualitative descriptive with stages of collecting DEMNAS Geospatial Data from the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) to obtain accurate elevation information, data processing using QGIS version 3.40, and visual analysis of contour and slope maps. The results showed that Mohupomba Island has an elevation range of 0–17 meters above sea level (masl), with a dense contour pattern in the eastern region indicating steep slopes, while the western part tends to be gentle. Most of the area is dominated by flat (0–8%) and gentle (8–15%) slopes, which are suitable for agricultural activities using soil conservation techniques. Meanwhile, areas with slopes >45% are classified as very steep and have a high potential for erosion and landslides, so they are not recommended for agricultural land development.
