Abstract

The main objective of this research is to investigate the implementation of the IOT prototype that contributes to the movement to prevent COVID-19 transmission to support COVID-19 free programs among higher education institutions in Bogor with the implementation of the existing system. Several efforts were made, one of which was checking the body temperature when entering the room. for normal temperature will be allowed to enter and if fever is not allowed to enter. Body temperature measurement can also be done with conventional infrared thermometers that have been circulating in the community, but this infrared thermometer requires guards for its operation who will be at risk of contracting COVID-19. Then a body temperature measurement tool was built using the Arduino Mega2560 microcontroller and web assistance to minimize the spread of COVID-19 when entering the room. There are several methods including Analysis, Design, Implementation, Testing. This tool is designed to use the MLX90614-DCI sensor as a temperature sensor which will be displayed on the LCD if the temperature is normal then the relay will cut off electricity on the electromagnetic door so that the door lock will open and vice versa. The temperature that is read will be stored in the database and will appear on the web to monitor the temperature read by the body temperature measuring device. This tool has been tested for comparison with conventional infrared thermometers with a difference of 0.3oC so that it is feasible to use.

Abstract

A vending machine is a type of machine that is very suitable for marketing a product such as automatic sales. These machines also tend to be able to grab more attention in public places. In the beverage machinery industry, there is a lot of competition from large companies, which can make it difficult to market these machines. Many schools and universities already have agreements with companies to place automated beverage machines on site. This tool is designed using the TCS3200 sensor which functions to detect the color of the paper currency to determine the value of the currency. The dc motor functions as an actuator for withdrawing money and the servo motor functions as a container for dropping money every time money comes in. Then the pushbutton and led light function as a drink selection button after the money comes in. The web functions as a provider of information about how many drinks are sold and how many drinks are left in stock, and telegrams serve as a marker/notification when one of the drink's stock runs out. Furthermore, for the drink dropping work system using a dc motor equipped with a spiral in each drink slot. Each money that comes in with a nominal value of Rp. 5,000 or Rp. 10,000 can only make one transaction, because this tool does not accept change. Tests were carried out on currency detection, cash withdrawals, beverage dispensing, web monitoring, and telegram notifications.

Abstract

The operating system is the most important software on a computer, currently there are several operating systems that are very commonly used in the world of work including Windows, Linux. With these various options, users need to know the characteristics of the OS in running graphic design applications with efficient memory consumption. One of the papers that will be used as a reference in analyzing the OS is a paper with experimental quantitative methods. Referring to the paper, this research will use a quantitative approach with experimental methods, the testing phase is by running a graphic design application on the same hardware but different operating systems, from the experiment a value will be obtained in the form of memory usage numbers when running the application then calculations are carried out using a table. comparison to see which one is more efficient in memory usage, from these results it will be concluded that the characteristics of each OS have their respective advantages and disadvantages.

Abstract

The thesis guidance process cannot run smoothly and on time if the busyness between lecturers and students causes a lack of suitable time to meet, so this obstacle can make the problems in writing the thesis unable to be solved as soon as possible. In addition, lecturers also find it difficult to monitor their tutored students because there are not a few students who are mentored. The purpose of this research is (a) to build an information system for the realization of the final project by using the waterfall method and (b) to test using a black box. Based on the results and discussion, conclusions can be drawn as follows: (i) Development of an information system for the realization of the final project in the waterfall method using UML design where the design results include System Actors (List Actor), Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams. (ii) System testing using Black Box. The results carried out using black boxes explain that the system created or the module used is running according to what is specified.

Abstract

Routing determines the route or path taken by packets and flows from sender to receiver. Software Define Networking (SDN) is a new concept for designing, building, and managing computer networks by separating controllers and devices. However, the development of a network that is currently increasing makes a computer network require a decision support mechanism, especially in determining the route or path taken by packets and flows from sender to receiver. This study aims to make a routing decision recommendation system using the Naïve Bayes algorithm using a QoS dataset including throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter with Tiphon standards and QoS requirements for several applications on the network. Openflow protocol, Ryu controller, and simulation-based implementation using mininet were used in this study. The performance results show that the Naive Bayes algorithm can provide routing recommendations for www Browsing, Video Streaming HD, and VoIP Telephony applications with an accuracy of 91% and an average precision of 95%.

Abstract

The development of the website today is not a difficult thing for students and students to learn because there are many references on the internet to support learning. The formulation of the problem in this study is 1. How to automatically set up service and spare parts data on invoices?. 2) How to manage good service and spare parts data management?. The purposes of this research are: 1. Manage the inventory of spare parts data stock, service income, and manage all reports and transactions at the company. 2. Facilitate the administration of the company in the process of providing services and data collection of spare parts, because the website has been managed properly and the company is more organized for use in data collection services and spare parts data. The research method used in this study using Waterfall. The waterfall method is one of the SDLC models that is often used in the development of information systems or software. The waterfall model uses a systematic and sequential approach. The stages of the waterfall model include requirements, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. Based on the results and discussion, the following conclusions can be drawn: (i) Information systems for services and sales of spare parts can be used as an answer to problems that occur in the management of the workshop, with this system the management of the workshop can be more easily carried out and much faster and the quality of information is more manageable. well. (ii) Development of an information system website for services and spare parts sales for customers of PT. Azka Gilang Mandiri has been carried out and implemented from the results of the designs that have been made in Context Diagrams, System Actors (List Actors), Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, and Class Diagrams.
