Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work environment on employee performance. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 25 application. The data collection techniques in this study were interviews, questionnaires and observations. The population in this study amounted to 32 employees at the Parepare City Youth and Sports Department of Tourism. The sampling technique in this study was Saturated sampling. The sample in this study were 28 permanent employees and 4 non-permanent employees) at the Youth and Sports Department of Tourism of Parepare City. The results showed that Job Satisfaction has a positive and insignificant effect on performance with a regression coefficient value of 0.340 and a probability value of 0.037> 0.005. Partially job satisfaction also affects performance in terms of the t value of 2.189> t table 2.045. The work environment has a positive and significant effect on performance with a regression coefficient value of 0.554 and a probability value of 0.003 <0.005. Partially, the work environment also affects performance in terms of the t value of 3.226> t table 2.045. Job Satisfaction and Work Environment simultaneously affect performance seen from the F value of 10.797> F table 3.32.

Abstract

Product quality and variants are very important in influencing the purchasing decision when buying Whiskas at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency. With the variety of products offered, consumers can choose the product they want. The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the factors that impact the purchasing decisions of Whiskas products at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency. The independent variables considered are Brand Image, Price Perception, and Promotion, while the dependent variable is the purchasing decision itself. For this study, primary data was collected through a survey involving 120 consumers, representing a sample from the total consumer base of 1850 people during the sales period from 2021 to 2022. The data were analyzed using the Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) Version 23 program. The findings of this study reveal a positive and significant relationship between brand image, price perception, and promotional influence on purchasing decisions for Whiskas brand products at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency. Particularly, promotional factors were identified as having a dominant impact on the purchasing decisions for Whiskas brand products at APS pet shop stores in Pangkep Regency

Abstract

It is important to reexamine the enhancement of human resource professionalism, particularly in the field of education, specifically for academics. The aim of this research is to determine the application of human resource management in improving professionalism and the influencing factors related to the application of human resource management in enhancing the professionalism of teachers in the Majene regency, West Sulawesi. This qualitative study investigates a social phenomenon, utilizing initial observation, interviews, documentation, and drawing conclusions from the description of the human resource role. The research was conducted in several public high schools in the Majene regency, West Sulawesi. The research findings reveal that enhancing teacher professionalism requires training and enhancing the competencies of each individual involved in teaching activities. The implications of this research can provide insights to schools to offer training for every teacher, focusing on learning attitudes, skills, specific knowledge, and behaviors related to their profession

Abstract

The travel industry has experienced rapid development due to the utilization of e-commerce, and marketing technologies such as e-commerce serve as tools in managing business resources. Therefore, this research aims to examine the factors influencing the use of e-commerce in enhancing the performance of travel businesses. This study adopts an explanatory research approach, intending to elucidate the relationships between various variables through hypothesis testing. The unit of analysis in this research is businesses in the Pangkep Regency, South Sulawesi, specifically those engaged in travel ticketing services. The research findings reveal three main factors affecting the use of e-commerce for business performance improvement: integrated information systems, networking, and technological innovation. Additionally, this study is supported by the Technology Organization Environment (TOE) theory to assess companies' decisions in adopting new technologies such as e-commerce. The research findings contribute to enhancing the understanding of travel industry practitioners in utilizing e-commerce technology

Abstract

This study reveals new dynamics in BUMDes financial management by identifying the role of employee competence and organizational culture in managing the financial affairs of Village-owned Enterprises. The objective of this research is to test the hypothesis regarding the influence of employee competence and organizational culture variables on BUMDes financial management. The population in this study consists of 800 BUMDes managers in the city of Parepare. The data collection method employed in this research is a survey method, using structured questionnaires distributed through purposive sampling techniques. Employee competence positively affects BUMDes financial management; higher competence levels are associated with increased financial management accountability in BUMDes. Organizational culture also positively influences BUMDes financial management, as it creates a supportive work environment, clarifies vision and mission, and provides incentives for good performance. These findings offer a new perspective on the importance of organizational culture in managing the contributions of various factors to BUMDes financial management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme pengelolaan sumber daya manusia dan faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi penerapan manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di SMA Negeri 3 Majene. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Informasi yang diolah merupakan hasil wawancara dengan informan yaitu kepala sekolah dan para guru SMA Negeri 3 Majene. Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa mekanisme SDM pada SMA Negeri 3 Majene telah dilaksanakan dengan baik, terutama mengenai: rekrutmen, pelatihan dan pengembangan personel, evaluasi kinerja dilakukan secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. metode estimasi model; Pembayaran insentif bagi guru pendidikan luar biasa yang bukan guru PNS. Peningkatan kemampuan profesional guru SMA Negeri 3 Majene telah berjalan dengan baik dalam hal memahami persyaratan profesional, mencapai kualifikasi dan keterampilan, membangun hubungan sejawat yang baik dan luas melalui organisasi profesi, mengembangkan etos kerja dan memperkenalkan inovasi fungsional dalam bidang komunikasi dan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

This study explores the online advantage Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) within the culinary sector can achieve by effectively linking their diverse digital strategies to enhanced consumer purchase intentions. An empirical approach was employed, involving surveys with consumers who actively engage with culinary UMKMs through their various digital platforms. Data collected via questionnaires were meticulously analyzed to elucidate the intricate interplay between different facets of digital engagement—ranging from information accessibility to interactive communication—and the evolution of consumer interest in culinary offerings. The findings consistently indicate that thoughtfully implemented digital strategies, which extend beyond a mere online presence, positively influence consumer purchase intention. This demonstrates a clear and attainable online advantage for these enterprises in a competitive digital landscape. The study concludes that the adoption of dynamic and contextually relevant digital strategies, especially those prioritizing entertaining and emotionally resonant content, provides a considerable online advantage for culinary UMKMs seeking to stimulate consumer purchase intentions and cultivate lasting brand loyalty

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of organizational culture, supervision, and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT. DEF Balikpapan. Although similar studies have been conducted previously, the novelty of this research lies in evaluating organizational behavior factors within the context of a heavy-equipment company that is undergoing digital transformation and tighter performance monitoring. Using a quantitative approach and saturated sampling of 27 employees, data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results indicate that organizational culture has a negative but insignificant effect on performance, supervision has no positive influence, while job satisfaction significantly improves performance. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect employee performance. These findings contribute to literature by highlighting the inconsistency of cultural and supervisory effects in companies with evolving digital work systems and restricted autonomy
