Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jus umbi bawang putih terhadap gerak reflek dan gerak motorik mencit jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Mencit berjumlah 25 ekor dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok perlakukan. Kelompok P0: kontrol, kelompok P1: dosis jus umbi bawang putih 1.13 ml/kgbb, kelompok P2: dosis jus umbi bawang putih 2.26 ml/kgbb, kelompok P3: dosis jus umbi bawang putih 3.39 ml/kgbb dan kelompok P4: viagra 50mg/kg. Paramater yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah gerak geotaksis negatif, menghindari jurang, lokomosi berlari, berenang dan menggelantung. Pengamatan parameter dilakukan satu jam setelah perlakuan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan anova satu faktor. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui jus umbi bawang putih tidak mempengaruhi gerak geotaksis negatif, menghindari jurang, dan lokomosi berlari. Kemudian, jus umbi bawang putih mempengaruhi lokomosi berenang dan menggelantung.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan penulis dengan salah satu guru mata pelajaran biologi kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau diperoleh data bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam memahami materi biologi masih rendah. Hal itu disebabkan kurang aktifnya siswa dalam pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut diperlukan model-model pembelajaran yang dapat mengaktifkan siswa untuk mempelajari pelajaran biologi.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain Control group pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t pada taraf signifikan = 0,05, diperoleh thitung (8,43) > ttabel (1,684). Dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran Team Assisted Individualization terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X biologi SMA Negeri 8 Lubuklinggau tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

Tetracera indica Merr. locally known as Mampelas is commonly used in traditional remedies. It believed to have the potential to cure hypercholesterolemia. The potential use of this plant to lower blood cholesterol level was understudied; therefore this study aimed to determine the effect of the infusion of fresh leaves of Tetracera indica to the blood cholesterol levels of mice. This research was true experimental design, a post-test only design with nonequivalent (control) groups. This study used 25 male mice divided into five categories, i.e., P0 mice were administered with 0 g of infusion, P1 mice with 2 g infusion, P2 mice with 5 g infusion, P3 mice with 10 g infusion, and P4 mice without Tetracera indica infusion but 10 mg of simvastatin. The treatment in all categories were given continuously for seven days. The results showed the mean of the blood cholesterol levels were 169.4 ± 59.37 mg/dL in P0, 121.8 ± 7.62 mg/dL in P1, 136.2 ± 15.69 mg/dL in P2, 110.6 ± 37 , 01 mg/dL in P3 , and 179,0 ± 35,24 mg/dL in P4. Kruskal Wallis test was calculated to determine the difference of blood cholesterol level among all groups, and it reported p < 0.05. The results of this study showed that infusion of Tetracera indica leaf was significantly lowered the level of blood cholesterol in mice.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) terhadap keterampilan proses dan hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan populasi siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari 9 kelas. Sampel adalah siswa kelas X.1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X.8 sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi berbentuk lembar observasi dan tes tertulis berbentuk uraian sebanyak 9 butir soal, dimana data hasil belajar dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji-t. Untuk keterampilan proses, rata-rata keseluruhan aspek keterampilan proses siswa menggunakan pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) yaitu 76,11 % dengan kategori baik. Hal ini berarti keterampilan proses siswa menggunakan pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) pada kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau memperoleh kategori baik. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tes awal kelas eksperimen 45,71, nilai rata-rata tes akhir 72,16. Berarti terjadi peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 28,14. Nilai rata-rata tes awal pada kelas kontrol adalah 45,86 dan nilai rata-rata tes akhir adalah 61,40. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji-t mengenai kemampuan akhir menunjukkan bahwa thitung  > ttabel  (3,52 > 1,67). Hal ini berarti ada pengaruh pendekatan Jelajah Alam Sekitar (JAS) terhadap hasil belajar biologi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 5 Lubuklinggau.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Guided Note Taking learning model on the learning outcomes of biology students in class XI of SMA N 6 Lubuklinggau in the academic year 2017/2018. The design applied in this research is pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was obtained using a random sampling technique. Namely students of class XI.IPA.4 as a control class and class XI.IPA.3 as an experimental class. To obtain student learning outcomes after treatment, a multiple choice test is used with a total of 26 items. The results of student learning data obtained through tests were analyzed using t-tests. The results of the t-test analysis showed that t-count> t-table (4.01> 1.68), it could be interpreted that the average value of the experimental class was greater than the average value of the control class. It can be concluded that the Guided Note Taking learning model influences the biology learning outcomes of Grade XI students of SMA Negeri 6 Lubuklinggau. Suggestions for improving student biology learning outcomes, teachers should innovate learning and apply active learning models. Keywords: learning outcomes, biology, guided note taking, models

Abstract

This study aims to test the validation and practicality of student worksheets (LKM) based on the science process skills of dragonflies in the invertebrate zoology course. The method used is Research and Development 4D model. The developed worksheets were tested for feasibility (validation) to material, media and language experts, and practicality tests to students. The results showed that the feasibility test (validation) of material experts, the LKM developed, had 81.17%. The validation results of media experts got a score of 89.60%; from linguists, it was 88.57%. The results of the practicality test for students earned a score of 80.51%. In conclusion, the student worksheet validation test results based on the science process skills of dragonflies in the invertebrate zoology course are very valid. Abstract

This study aims to determine the profile of science process skills and scientific attitudes of prospective biology teachers in the Invertebrate Zoology course. The method used is descriptive to examine all students of the Biology Education Study Program in the second semester of the 2020/2021 academic year as research subjects. Process skills data were obtained from process skills observation sheets and scientific attitude data were obtained from questionnaires. The results showed that the science process skills of prospective biology teachers were 79.1% and scientific attitudes were 82.4%. In conclusion, the science process skills of Biology teacher candidates are classified as skilled with a good scientific attitude. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the readiness of Biology Education Students at STKIP-PGRI Lubuklilnggau to become teachers based on Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK). The method used is the descriptive method. The research subjects were 23 Biology Education Students at STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau in the 7th semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Data Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), and Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK) were collected using a questionnaire, while data on students' abilities in making lesson plans and teaching abilities were collected through assessment sheets that STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau had prepared. The study results obtained that CK, PK, PCK, the ability to make lesson plans and the ability to teach students were categorized as good. In conclusion, the Biology Education Student of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau is ready to become a teacher. Keywords: Evaluation, Teachers, Students, Pedagogical Content

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah produk berupa Instrumen Tes Literasi Sains Pada Tema 8 Lingkungan Sahabat Kita Untuk Kelas V SD Negeri 2 Sugihwaras yang valid dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Populasi sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 sugihwaras sebanyak 4 siswa uji one to one dan 8 siswa uji kelompok kecil. Jenis penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan pengembangan model ADDIE (Analysis, Desain, Devlopment, Implimentation dan Evaluation). Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket validasi ahli bahasa, ahli media, ahli materi dan angket kepraktisan guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis oleh ketiga ahli yaitu ahli bahasa, ahli media dan ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa Instrumen tes literasi sains pada tema 8 lingkungan sahabat kita memenuhi kriteria valid dengan skor rata-rata 4,3. Sedangkan hasil analisis lembar kepraktisan guru memperoleh presentase 94, 55% dan analisis kepraktisan siswa memperoleh 92,42% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Sehingga Instrumen tes literasi sains pada tema 8 lingkungan sahabat kita memenuhi kriteria valid dan praktis serta dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

This study aims to determine the ability of self-regulated learning, new literacy and the relationship between the two in perspective biology teachers. The method used is qualitative. The research sample is Biology students, at PGRI Silampari University, totaling 74 people. The data collection instrument was in the form of a questionnaire consisting of self-regulated learning abilities and new literacy skills. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and the relationship between the two was analyzed using Rank Spearman analysis. The results showed that the ability of prospective biology teacher students in self-study regulation was categorized as good, new literacy was sufficient and the relationship between the two obtained a significance value of 0.00 (<0.05). In conclusion, there is a relationship between the ability to regulate self-study and the new literacy ability of prospective biology teachers.
