Abstract

Riset dengan tema perjudian ini, bertujuan untuk mengkaji sebuah perubahan perjudian yang sedang marak di kalangan masyrakat dan trajektori-trajektorinya yang di lakukan oleh subjek penelitian yakni para penjudi yang berada di wilayah kabupaten Rembang. Metode Penelitian dengan pendekatan deskriptif kulaitatif, dimana peneliti menguraikan secara deskriptif tentang perubahan perjudian di rembang dan trajektori-trajektorinya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola perjudian sabung ayam di Kecamatan Pancur telah bermetamorfosa dari yang tradisional, kemudian menggunakan media baru akibat perkembangan perubahan sosial masyarakat Pancur, yang dahulunya mayoritas berprofesi petani dan fokus pada pertanian berubah menjadi jasa transportasi dan bekerja sebagai sopir ekpsedisi barang, ketika masih berprofesi petani untuk perjudiannya hanya dilakukan saat sehabis panen dan tidak banyak orang, berubah setelah mayoritas profesi mereka beralih sebagai sopir, mereka melakukan perjudian terutama sabung ayam dilakukan saat mereka telah sampai di rumah habis bekerja narik muatan Jakarta-Surabaya, mereka melakukan perjudian biasanya weekend (sabtu-minggu). perkembangan teknologi juga membuat para penjudi (pemain sabung ayam) mudah untuk mendapatkan ayam-ayam bagus untuk di lagakan di gelanggang, ada arena kapitalis (peternak besar) di dalam sabung ayam saat ini, mereka sangat mempengaruhi pasar ayam aduan melalui sosial media dan media lainnya, untuk peternak besar jika ayamnya menjadi juara di gelanggang aduan akan dijadikan sebuah promosi dana branding materi ternaknya, setelah popular ayam mereka tentunya permmintaan pasar akan banyak dan mendatangkan keuntungan besar bagi mereka.

Abstract

The geographical conditions of an area have a significant influence on the social, economic, and environmental life of the local community. This study aims to analyze the impact of geographical conditions on these aspects in Klaces Village, Kampung Laut District, Cilacap Regency, using qualitative methods. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with the community and stakeholders, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the geographical conditions of Klaces Village, which are dominated by coastal and swamp areas, cause scattered settlement patterns and limited accessibility, which affect social interaction and access to public services. From an economic perspective, the community relies on the fisheries sector, wetland agriculture, and water transportation as their main sources of livelihood, but limited infrastructure and environmental changes are major challenges in economic sustainability. From an environmental aspect, this village faces problems such as abrasion, tidal flooding, and ecosystem changes that have an impact on the sustainability of natural resources. This study concludes that geographical conditions play an important role in shaping the social, economic, and environmental dynamics in Klaces Village. Therefore, adaptive and sustainable development policies are needed to improve community welfare and maintain ecosystem balance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of reading literacy practices at Indonesian Overseas Schools (SILN) in the Philippines to understand strategies, outcomes, and challenges in a transnational context. The study is grounded in behaviorist, constructivist, and 21st-century literacy theories to frame the adaptation of national literacy policies in multicultural settings. An exploratory qualitative approach was used, involving semi-structured interviews with four teachers and two students and analyzed through Miles and Huberman’s model and NVivo thematic coding. Findings reveal that structured programs such as DEAR, reading journals, and creative literacy products effectively foster reading habits, despite challenges like limited Indonesian proficiency, resources, and home support. NVivo analysis identified key themes including daily reading routines, personalized teaching strategies, digital integration, and student engagement. Results suggest the need for inclusive, data-driven literacy policies, resource diversification, and teacher training tailored for transnational Indonesian education contexts. This study contributes novel insights into literacy policy adaptation in diaspora schools, emphasizing cultural diplomacy and contextualized literacy strategies abroad.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of e-learning into the curricula of Vocational High Schools, emphasising strategies, challenges, and prospective avenues for enhancing the quality of teaching and learning. E-learning plays a crucial role in enhancing vocational education within the framework of rapid digital transformation, facilitating flexibility, interactivity, and access to a variety of learning resources. A qualitative approach was employed to collect data through in-depth interviews, surveys, and participatory observation at 39 Vocational High Schools in Padang, Indonesia, which offer Computer and Network Engineering and Software Engineering programs. The research included 73 teachers and 195 students who participated in e-learning activities. The findings indicate that both teachers and students possess favourable views regarding the integration of e-learning, recognising its capacity to improve conceptual understanding, promote learner autonomy, and create more engaging educational environments. Educators indicated that the implementation of learning management systems, online discussions, multimedia resources, and virtual simulations enhances student engagement and fosters collaboration. Data triangulation confirmed that teacher competence and engagement in professional development significantly impact e-learning success. Challenges remain, such as insufficient digital literacy, inadequate infrastructure, and diminished direct interaction. The research highlights the necessity of ongoing teacher training, dependable technological infrastructure, and curriculum redesign in accordance with industry standards to facilitate effective e-learning integration. It is advisable to establish collaborative partnerships among educational institutions, industry stakeholders, and policymakers to improve curriculum relevance and learning outcomes. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation are crucial for sustaining dynamic and adaptive e-learning environments. This study presents a framework aimed at enhancing e-learning implementation in Vocational High Schools, thereby facilitating students' preparedness for the digital and industrial workforce.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas konsep kepemimpinan dari berbagai perspektif, termasuk Serat Tripama, Astabrata, dan Islam, dengan tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan membandingkan prinsip-prinsip kepemimpinan dalam konteks budaya dan agama yang berbeda. Kepemimpinan, yang selalu relevan dan berkembang seiring waktu, memiliki berbagai definisi dari para ahli, seperti Maxwell, Bennis, dan Drucker, yang menggarisbawahi pentingnya pengaruh, visi, dan motivasi. penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian literer untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data dari berbagai sumber, termasuk karya sastra dan ajaran agama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesamaan dalam nilai-nilai kepemimpinan, seperti keadilan, kebijaksanaan, dan keteladanan, yang ditemukan dalam ketiga sumber. Namun, terdapat perbedaan mendasar dalam pendekatan kepemimpinan: Serat Tripama fokus pada aspek praktis, Astabrata menekankan pengembangan karakter, dan Islam memprioritaskan aspek spiritual dan moral. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih dalam mengenai praktik kepemimpinan yang ideal dan aplikasinya dalam berbagai konteks.
