Abstract

Volleyball is a sport game, which is popular with the general public as well as the beginners (students). Badegan State 1 Junior High School (SMP Negeri 1 Badegan) is one of the schools that conduct volleyball extracurricular activities however the passing ability of the female students who take part in volleyball extracurricular activities, were still low. Therefore, training methods were needed to improve students' forearm passing ability. The method of the research is an experimental research which used factorial plan 2x2. The population of this research is all of the female students on SMP Negeri 1 Badegan, Ponorogo Regency, who followed volleyball extracurricular totally 30 people. To get the sample of this research, used saturated sampling in order to the entire population can be the sample of this research. This research showed that the t-test got 10.405 points and t–table on dk (0.05) (19) in the amount of 1.729. Because of the t–test point is greater than the t-table (-10.405>1.729), it can be concluded that there is an effect of the patterned drill practice method and hand-eye coordination on the forearm passing ability of the female volleyball extracurricular participants at the (State Senior High School of 1 Badegan) SMA Negeri 1 Badegan

Abstract

The Anak Rantau futsal club as a forum for fostering athlet in the city of Medan to achieve achievements. to improve sports achievement, it is necessary to monitor talent, nursery, and coaching. This study aims to evaluate: Context: Background, Vision Mission, Development program objectives. Input: SDM, facilities and infrastructure availability, funding. Process: training programs implementation, coaches/athletes admision systems, the use of facilities and infrastructure, coordination. Product: achievement and welfare. This study used a qualitative approach with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model developed Stuflebeam. The research subjects included administrators, coaches, athletes, parents. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. The results showed: first the context of background, vision, mission, program objectives was good and transparent, the second input of on SDM (administrators, coaches, athletes) was good and placed according to their fields, facilities and infrastructure availability at field aspects are inadequate, funding are running poorly because they come from club owners and have not sufficiently fulfilled coaching needs, the third process of regarding the coaching program implementation was quite good according to the training program schedule, athlete recruitment system and good category coordination, while the recruitment system coaches and the use of medium category facilities and infrastructure, trainer recruitment is appointed directly by the management, coordination has been gone very well, the four development program products regarding achievement and welfare were categorized as unstable achievement and the welfare aspects of coaches and athletes were obtained from the results prize when become a champion.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and describe The Coaching Management of Boxing Achivement in PERTINA East Nusa Tenggara Province. This research aims to analyze planning, organizing, actuating and controlling of the program. This study used a qualitative approach with an ethnographic design with George R. Terry’s POAC model. The subjects in this study were administrators, coaches and athletes at the PERTINA East Nusa Tenggara Province. The results of this research are: Planning in terms of planning was good because according to the standards set, Organizing as a whole was not good because the arrangement of infrastructure and funding is not maximal, Implementation (Actuating) was not good because of limited facilities infrastructure and funding are still minimal and controlling, overall was less good because the supervisory commission did not carry out routine controlling.

Abstract

The reasearch is about formation of a coordinator for an education unit is not known, which causes the performance of physical education teachers to be poor and affects the P.E. learning in elementary schools . This study aims to assess the performance of Civil Servant and Non Civil Servant Physical Education teachers who carry out additional duties n Gajahmungkur District, Semarang City. This study is a qualitative research which employs ethnographic approach. The research subjects were Physical Education Teachers in the Gajahmungkur District area of work for the 2019-2020 academic year, School Principals, and Coleagues of Physical Education Teachers in Gajahmungkur District. The Secondary data sources are in the form of identities and the number of teachers, obtained from documents in the Gajahmungkur sub-district, Semarang City. Data collection instruments used in this study are in the form of observation and interview guidelines, as well as documentation studies. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the performance of P.E. teachers who do not have additional duties is quite good. The performance of P.E. teachers who have additional duties are somewhat good, other additional duties greatly affect the performance of P.E teachers. Therefore, it can be said that the additional duties very burdensome for educators. The suggestions of this study are that the teacher can take the role of a real teacher. Without any obstacles from other duties that are very burdensome for the performance of P.E teachers. The authorities can make this suggestion into an evaluation to provide a reasonable additional duties for a teacher.

Abstract

Management of Sports coaching on National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI) Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province is the most appropriate institution to coordinate all sports branch administrators in Karo Regency for athlete development programs.This research aimed to analyzed and described the planning system, the organizing system, the actuating system, the controlling system of the management activities program, funding, and infrastructure, as well as the evaluation system in KONI, Karo Regency, North Sumatra. This study used a qualitative approach with ethnographic design. The subjects in this study were administrators, coaches, athletes, and the communities at KONI Karo Regency, North Sumatra. The results of the organizational structure of management in KONI Karo Regency, North Sumatra, had a good organizational structure, and has shown an obvious line of authority with the existence of tasks under their respective fields. The activity program at KONI Karo Regency, North Sumatra, is complete and structured under the assignment decree (SK) and activities carried out according to a predetermined schedule. Funding at KONI Karo Regency, North Sumatra is not yet in a good category. Based on data on the facilities and infrastructure of KONI, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, was not yet in the good category, because it cannot support existing program activities at KONI Karo Regency, North Sumatra. Management Evaluation System at KONI Karo Regency always conducts evaluations after a match in order so that the future it can be remedied and can run according to previous planning implementation. However, it is recommended that an external party should conduct an evaluation to make a better result.

Abstract

People with hearing impaired who experience loss of listening ability require physical education which provides opportunities for deaf children to take advantage of physical activities to develop and improve neuromuscular, perceptual, cognitive, and emotional levels. This study used a procedural development model, where the model in this study is descriptive, which is a procedure that outlines the steps that must be followed in producing a product. The research subjects carried out in this study were divided into 2 groups. One group in the trial phase 1 and the second group in the trial phase 2. The results of this study were the results of the validation test by the early-stage material experts got an average percentage of 72.22% good criteria. The results of the validation of the electrical experts got an average percentage of 77.55% good criteria. The results of the second stage of validation by hearing-impaired experts got an average percentage of 90.24% outstanding criteria and the average percentage results by electro experts got 92.5% perfect criteria. The results of the small scale try out of 12 children with hearing-impaired got a percentage score of 64.28%. Category "Appropriate". The results of large-scale trials of 45 students from 3 different special schools got an average percentage score of 91.58 in the "Very Appropriate" category. The results of large-scale trials of teachers got an average percentage of 95.26% very feasible criteria. The conclusion from the skill tool to train reaction skills is excellent and suitable for use by deaf children.

Abstract

The development of sports technology is increasingly sophisticated and modern in improving the quality of sports. Folk games or traditional sports are cultural assets that need to be preserved, because they have the potential to be further developed as sports that help improve physical quality for the players. The results of the validation of the first stage I referee experts were 62%, stage II 96%, stage I referee experts 66%, stage II 96% and IT experts I stage I 64%, stage II 94%, IT experts II stage I 60%, stage II 94%. The results of the small-scale questionnaire of the coaches were 66% in good category, 50% for enough category and 65% for scorer in good category. The results of the large-scale questionnaire of coaches were 95% very good category, 89% very good category players and 93% very good scorer categories. The conclusions of this study: (1) The product design development of application score sheet traditional sports of Hadang is the application of the traditional sports score sheet based on information technology. (2) The effectiveness of the product development of application score sheet traditional sports of Hadang, it can be said that it is effective as a score sheet application that helps the scorer in entering points, recording and saving match data. (3) The acceptance of the development of the application score sheet of traditional sport hadang based on information technology is said to be "Accepted" from the results of large-scale questionnaires with a percentage of 92.56%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the various problems that arise as a result of curriculum changes, especially in the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan. The Learning Implementation Plan in Permendikbud No. 22/2016 to the Minister of Education and Culture Circular No. 14 of 2019. Thus the focus of this research is 1) the response of sports and health physical education teachers to the implementation of the One-sheet Learning Implementation Plan for the Minister of Education and Culture 2019; 2) the effectiveness of the implementation of the one sheet of the 2019 Mendikbud's Learning Implementation Plan; 3) review of the one-sheet Learning Implementation Plan.This research took place at the Sub District 06 Junior High School in Semarang City with the research subjects were 12 physical education teachers. The main instruments of this research were 1) observation guide; 2) a questionnaire to get the respondent's opinion regarding the one sheet Learning Implementation Plan; 3) interviews to reveal respondents' opinions about curriculum changes regarding Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 to the Minister of Education and Culture Circular No. 14 of 2019. The data collected through the use of these instruments are analyzed qualitatively with the main procedures: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and triangulation.The final result of this research is that the curriculum changes related to the preparation of the Learning Implementation Plan change from Permendikbud No. 22 of 2016 to the Circular of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 14 of 2019 which gives a good response to physical education teachers because, in addition to making it easier for teachers to design Learning Implementation Plans, these changes are also more effective, efficient and more learner-oriented.

Abstract

Authentic assessment at school has generally been carried out, but has not been supported by a tested assessment instrument. The purpose of this study was to produce a valid, reliable, and practical assessment instrument in learning soccer kicking material. The research method used is research and development involving 3 expert assessments, namely, Information Technology Experts, and Sport and health physical education teachers. The expert validation instrument has 4 categories, namely invalid, less valid, valid, very valid. For data analysis, the validity level used the Aiken's V formula, while knowing the reliability level of the instrument used the Cronbach alpha formula assisted by SPSS 16.0. The results of the content validation analysis of all items were valued above 0.3, which means that all aspects assessed by the expert were valid. The reliability test of the assessment instrument using Cronbach's alpha was obtained a value of 0.747. The practicality test of the assessment instrument in the form of a website has a value of 85%. It can be concluded that the instrument application has a very high level of practicality. This study serves to increase the reference data of researchers and of course it can be used by teachers in conducting assessments.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic requires teachers and students to carry out online learning. This has an impact on physical education subject. It definitely reduces the physical activity in which physical education, sports and health  requires physical activity as a medium of learning. The lack of physical activity has a negative effect on health and physical fitness. This study aims to analyze the physical fitness of Physical Education Teachers (PE Teachers) in Semarang City during the Covid-19 pandemic based on the Body Mass Index (BMI). The research method used was a survey, the research sample was 186 PE Teachers in Semarang. The data collection was gained by the measurements of height and weight. BMI is calculated using the formula of the body mass divided by the square of the body height in units of kg/m2. The quantitative data analysis used in this study was the percentage to describe the physical fitness profile based on BMI. The results of the study showed that the BMI of Semarang City PE Teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic were as follows: underweight 7 people (3.76%); normal or healthy weight 115 people (61.83%), overwight 56 people (30.11%), obese 8 people (4.30%). The conclusion of the physical fitness of PE Teachers in Semarang City during the Covid-19 pandemic based on body mass index were catagorized as folows: the underweight were 7 people (3.76%), normal or healthy weight were 115 people (61%), overweight and obese were 64 people (34.41%). The suggestions for PE Teachers whose category are underweight, overweight and obese based on BMI is to evaluate and improve their lifestyle, diet and physical activity so that their body weight becomes normal or ideal and their physical fitness is getting better. For those who acquired normal category, it means they have been having a good lifestyle.
