Abstract

The nested integrated learning model is the integration of curriculum in one discipline, specifically to put the focus of interrogation on several learning skills. The purposes of the study are analyzing the learning models used in Bahasa Indonesia language, developing integrated learning models that are effective in learning Indonesian subjects, improving language skills through a cohesive type of integrated learning model to be implemented in everyday life. This method applied is research and development by Sukmadinata. Data collection techniques used performance test techniques, observations, and interviews. This study applied statistic parametric inferential data. The research and development results showed that the integrated learning model could improve language skills in grade VII students in junior high school. The nested type showed a significant increase in language skills compared to classes with conventional learning. An excess of nested teachers could combine several skills at once in one subject. This model is as an alternative in learning to improve language skills especially. The benefit of this research is to provide a contribution of science and technology in the form of a synthesis study of the Integrated Learning model (nested) type in the Indonesian subjects of class VII.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Predict Observe Explain (POE) learning models for increasing critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students, analyze the Implementation of Outdoor Guided Inquiry learning models in increasing critical thinking skills of fifth grade elementary school students, comparing the effectiveness of POE learning model and Outdoor Guided Inquiry in the critical thinking ability of fifth grade elementary school students. This research used a quasi-experiment with pre-test and post-test control group design. The population and sample taken in this study were all fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sambong (eksperimen group) and SD Negeri 3 Sambong (control group), totaling 42 students. The experimental group was intervened by Outdoor Guided Inquiry while the control group by Predict Observe Explain.  In this study data were taken using test instrument and questionners. Data analysis techniques used in this study were independent samples t-test, and classical completeness test and N-gain test. N-gain calculation results show that the average in the OGI class is 0.61, and the POE class is 0.38, which means that the Outdoor Guided Inquiry model is better in improving students' critical thinking abilitis compared to the Predict Observe Explain model. Based on the t-test calculation of OGY and POE classes, ttable = 2.021 and tvalue = 4.265, so tvalue > ttable shows that the OGI learning model is significantly better than the POE model.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Zakaria Isnain (NIM. 2501415074). Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosi terhadap Hasil Pembelajaran Seni Musik di SMP Negeri 27 Semarang. Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Seni Drama, Tari, dan Musik, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Semarang, Dosen Pembimbing I: Prof. Dr. Totok Sumaryanto Florentinus, M.Pd. Kata Kunci: Kecerdasan Emosi, Hasil Belajar, Seni Musik Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan antara kecerdasan emosi terhadap hasil pembelajaran seni musik; (2) pengaruh antara kecerdasan emosi terhadap hasil belajar seni musik; dan (3) kontribusi antara kecerdasan emosi dengan hasil pembelajaran seni musik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 27 Semarang yang dilaksanakan pada bulan November – Desember 2019. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VII H sejumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan non eksperimen (ex-post de facto). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket kecerdasan berupa pernyataan tiap butir soal. Dokumentasi berupa nilai ulangan harian siswa kelas VII H. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah korelasi, regresi linier sederhana dan determinasi.Hasil uji determinasi dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara kecerdasan emosi terhadap hasil belajar seni musik di SMP Negeri 27 Semarang sebesar 23,57 %.Saran: (1) Bagi siswa, hendaknya dapat memahami emosi sehingga dapat mengontrol emosi dan memotivasi diri dalam belajar agar dapat meraih hasil belajar dengan maksimal, (2) Bagi Guru, hendaknya guru senantiasa memperhatikan kecerdasan emosi siswa sehingga siswa sadar akan potensi yang mereka miliki, (3) Bagi peneliti selanjutnya, sebaiknya peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan penelitian yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar selain kecerdasan emosi.

Abstract

Senggayung music classified as an idiophone musical instrument that is made of bamboo. Senggayung music only exist in Ketapang District, unique music that is not owned by other regions. This study aims to analyze the form of Senggayung music and identify the cultural identity of the Gerai Village community through Senggayung music. The approach used is an interdisciplinary approach involving ethnomusicology and anthropology disciplines. Technique of collecting data with observation, interview, and study of documentation. Data validity techniques use credibility with data triangulation techniques. Data analysis by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or withdrawal of conclusions. The results of this study show, When viewed from the organology, Senggayung belong to idiophone musical instruments made of bamboo. Senggayung is a music that reflects the cultural identity of the village community of Ketapang regency. Senggayung used in the process of community ceremony, before starting the elders read the Spells to raoh ancestors participate in the ceremony process. Senggayung taught to the young generation by the elders for Senggayung remain sustainable and not extinct. Some of the factors that make up the cultural identity are (1) belief, (2) language, (3) behavior pattern which is reflected in Senggayung is a cultural identity.

Abstract

Didong Jalu is a traditional art from Aceh Tengah (central aceh) that performs 2 (two) Didong group in one performance. Didong Jalu is an art that combines vocal and motion art with a small pillow as the property. Didong Jalu is also used as a medium of communication among societies from different ethnics. The problems of the research are (1) How is the Didong Jalu performance of Kampung Toweren societies, Takengon Central aceh Regency if it is reviewed from Entomusicology?, (2) How is Didong Jalu performance used as a medium of cultural communication by Kampung Toweren societies, Takengon, Central aceh Regency?. The research method is qualitative with interdicipline approach. The research design is case study, this research is only applicable for where the research was held. The research location is Kampung Toweren Takengon, Central aceh Regency. The research focused on Didong Jalu performance with performance concept and communication concept. The source of data was primary data involving artists, literature documents, and public figure, while the secondary data involves books, and references from previous research.the data collection techniques are observation, interview, and study document. The technique of data validity used data triangulation. Data analysis techniques consist of reduction, data presentation, data verification. The results of the research was that Didong Jalu performance observed used 2 (two) concepts, they are concept presented by Sal Murgiyanto, involving (a) beginning parts, (b) core parts, (c) final parts; (d) rhythm, (e) melody. Didong Jalu performance as a cultural communication can be seen clearly from the elements which influence communication system presented by Alo Liliweri, such as, Didong Jalu as a communicator, communicant, message, media, effect, athmosphere, and disturbance.

Abstract

Kudai dance as a medium of collective expression of Semendesociety is identical with the women strength as the source of life. In the aspect of its performance, It contains social interaction through the symbols that is expressed through the aesthetics of the female body.The purpose of the article is to explain the symbolic meaning of Kuadai dance performance expressed by Semende society in Lampung.This research used qualitative method with interdisciplinary approach. The data collection used the technique of observation, interview, and documentation. The data validity was based on the credibility criteria with triangulation technique. The data analysis used the procedure of dance research by Gertrude Prokosch Kurath that is focused on dance analysis especially on symbol and meaning in Kuadai dance. The results showed that Kuadaidance is a form of tradition reality imitation which exists among Semendesociety as an agrarian society that outs forward the tradition of tunggu tubang (the first daughter as a shelter and a manager of family’s treasure. The personality of tunggu tubang that is full of patience, consistence, and responsibility is manifested through the Kuadai dance movements.The plate as property is a symbol of a respect as well as a representation of a woman that should be treated gently, carefully, lovingly, and with sacred. The dominant floor pattern symbolizes the Semende society that always respects the customs’ regulation. The dance accompaniment with slow tempo symbolizes Semende society that is full of tranquility and togetherness.

Abstract

This research reveals Pang Bas as a musical activity in the context of social exchange in Rindu Nada bamboo instrumental group in Sumillan village, Alla district, Enrekang regency. The research was made to analyze Pang Bas of Rindu Nada group. It used interdisciplinary approach, involving the disciplines of sociology under the paradigm of social behavior. The researcher employed qualitative research method to conduct the research. The data of this research were collected from observation, interview, and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed in data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The findings showed that Pang Bas musical activity of Rindu Nada occurred during the rehearsal and stage performance collaborating with external parties. The activity initiated the social exchange causing aggression, praises, leadership, deprivation, and boredom towards Pang Bas. Meanwhile, during the play, Pang Bas generated social interaction to outsiders as intrinsic rewards, such as friendship, satisfaction, and social status. The extrinsic reward of it was a material thing in return. There was also a stimuli of generalization in the next meeting and discrimination prior to the success of past performance.

Abstract

Sogug musical instrument is a type of traditional musical instrument, including rhythmic musical instruments from the Kalipare village community, Malang Regency. The research aims to describe how Sogug musical instruments can be used to stimulate rhythm sensitivity and how to apply Sogug musical instruments to children. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with descriptive data exposure. The research subjects of the group are Muslimat NU TK A Kalipare Malang, with observation, interview, and document study data collection techniques. Data validation techniques used in this research is source triangulation and data analysis techniques with data reduction, presentation of data and conclusions. The results showed that the Sogug musical instrument was appropriately used and appropriately applied as an alternative to stimulate early childhood musical intelligence (rhythm). It is because of the instruments and ways to play Sogug musical instruments is in accordance with the early childhood stages of growth, needs, abilities and physical motor development.

Abstract

Baptism Church Indonesia (GBI) Ngembak uses Javanesse gamelan (traditional music accompaniment) to accompany the Sundays’ worship which is held every Sunday in the end month. The purpose of this research is to analyze the form of Javanese gamelan music in a worship liturgy of Baptism Church Indonesia (GBI) Ngembak. The research method used qualitative with case study research design. Data collecting techniques are observation, interview, and document study. To maintain its validity, the researcher uses the technique of source triangulation. While the technique of data analysis is done by the process of reduction, presentation, and conclusion (verification). The research findings show that the form of musical composition in one of worship songs in GBI Ngembak is a song titled Puji Nama-Nya (Praise His name) uses bar of 4/4, the types of melody is stepping and jumping. Its harmony is one voice although in the book of Nyanyian Pujian (Hymn) provides the harmony of Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bass. The structure of musical form in Puji Nama-Nya song has two parts, they are part A and part B. and the lyrics of this song is a, a , a , a. This song uses a particular musical arrangement of Javanese gamelan accompaniment laras Pelog.

Abstract

Traditional Thong thong klek art is one of the traditional arts in Rembang regency. One team of Thong Thong Klek art is Gema Irama, which has an organizational structure that functions to regulate the organizational process of the team. Thong thong klek showis able torun well when all parts do their part well. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the structure of the organization and its function. Theoretically, this study uses a qualitative method with a monodisciplinary approach, namely sociology of art using structural functionalism theory. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and document studies. Checking the data validity were carried out by using source triangulation, followed by analyzing the data by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that each part in the system of the arts organization can perform its functions properly and be mutually functional from one another. The Chairman has carried out his function well, but it turns out that there are also latent functions that are detrimental to the Gema Irama Thong Thong Klek Art. Other divisions encounter dysfunctions that hinder the development of the Gema Irama Thong Thong Klek art. Suggestions for Thong Thong Klek Gema Irama team is to be active in creating inovations according to the era development and always be consistent in prioritizing the values ​​of simplicity and kinship as the identity of the people of Rembang Regency.
