Abstract

He Office of Education and Culture of the City of Pasuruan City is an element of the implementation of the Pasuruan City Regional Government in providing services in the field of Education and Culture of the City of Pasuruan which are required to improve services. So far, manual reporting is time-consuming and labor- intensive. Based on these problems, it is necessary to integrate information system data with web-based population data, as well as the development of this system using the waterfall model method where the system is tested using the Validation Testing method. , design, implementation and testing of systems. The test results on this system indicate that the system is running as expected and is able to facilitate data reporting at the Pasuruan City Education and Culture Office

Abstract

PSLD UB has Enablink service application which supports students with disabilities to get assistance during lecture activities at Brawijaya University. Currently, Enablink application has not separated lecture support schedule to exam support schedule, it leaves difficulties for the administrator to arrange the scheduling of both academic and exam supports. Some ineffective features, such as unclear licensing flows, mentoring scheduling only based on an empty companion schedule, searching for replacement supporter is done manually, and there is no notification feature so that information is often obtained through Whatsapp group. Therefore, this study aims to carry out further development of the Enablink application which can provide an exam support scheduling system and improve existing features. The system development is carried out using the rapid application development method with two iterations. The result of this research is a scheduling system for exam assistance. This study tested using a black box testing approach with validation testing and usability testing. The results of the validation test from 33 test scenarios show that the system runs as expected and functionally with 100% valid results, while the usability test gets a usability value of 78.33 (adjective rating good) using a usability scale system.

Abstract

USIP PAMMAS is a non-governmental financial institution in Abiansemal District, Badung Regency, Bali Province, have task to managing the finances of their members within the scope of the local district community independently. Based on the results of an interview with Mr. Nyoman Piarsa as the chairman of the USIP institution, he said that there were difficulties in the implementation of the process of recording transaction activities within the organization. Currently, the process is still done manually and as the number of members increases, the tasks carried out by the staffs become increasingly difficult. Therefore, based on the problems described previously, the offered solution is to develop an information system for deposit and loan management to handle them. System development is done by using the Waterfall method and implemented with a web-based application, using the Laravel framework. The steps taken include requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing. For system validation testing results based on functional requirements, from 8 test cases all get valid results. For the results of the compatibility test, the system runs with the same functionality on all tested browser using SortSite application. For the User Acceptance Testing result, the test is given to two actors, first one is admin actors represented by the USIP chairman (94% UAT percentage value) and secondly USIP management actors represented by USIP staff (95% UAT percentage value).

Abstract

Blitz Energi Internusa Inc is a company engaged in construction work, which has a vision to become a leading company and partner of choice for comprehensive construction solutions at a global level. To achieve this vision, good implementation is needed in monitoring the progress of a project. However, in its implementation there are several problems such as frequent errors in determining project progress data, as well as incomplete photo documentation and descriptions of project work activities. Based on this, an information system is needed that can help make it easier to supervise projects. Therefore, in working on this thesis, a project supervision information system was developed which is expected to be utilized by the project manager and superintendent as a means to implement better project supervision. This system is web-based and made with a waterfall approach, and utilizes the CodeIgniter framework based on the PHP programming language to facilitate access and further development of information systems at Blitz Energi Internusa Inc. The results of the validation testing show that from 11 test cases, all functions can run well and are declared valid. The results of the compatibility testing show that there are several problems for the Internet Explorer browser including not supporting some features in CSS. And the results of user acceptance testing obtained an acceptance percentage of 84% for superintendent actors, 88% for project manager actors and 80% for admin actors.

Abstract

JAKI was released by the Jakarta Smart City team in September 2019. JAKI is an application which able to access various kinds of official information and public services from the DKI Jakarta's Government. JAKI is currently 3.3 by rating on a scale of 1 to 5 on the iOS platform. Based on the observations of user reviews on the App store, it gets a lot of bad reviews from the users. So far, there's no usability evaluation of the JAKI application that has been found. Therefore, an evaluation is needed to determine the quality of the application coincide with the expectations and needs of the user in order to achieve the JAKI's goals. Usability evaluation in this study was carried out using the usability testing method. The evaluation results were obtained from usability testing data, interview data, and also observations. Usability testing is done by giving task scenarios to 5 respondents with a total of 4 tasks for each respondent. Overall, 17 of the 20 tasks were successfully completed with a success rate of 85%. From the results of interviews and observations found 41 problems. 28 problems were found from the interviews and 13 problems were found from the observations. The most common problems found is where users having difficulties finding the location of the desired features, some features and information needed by users are unavailable in the application, and from the server and integration side is not yet optimal which lead many bugs occur. There are 21 recommendations in accordance with the existing problems.

Abstract

Kontan is an economic, business and investment news portal. Not only presenting news and information, cash also presents macroeconomic data, sectoral, to stock market and financial data accurately, completely, and continuously updated, from trusted sources. Apart from being on the website, Cash also has an application on cellular phones. But in fact this application still gets a low rating in the Playstore and there are also some unfavorable reviews from users. The review can be categorized into errors in the Usability aspect, namely Learnability, efficiency, errors, and also Satisfaction. Then an evaluation is carried out to find out what problems are obtained from testing and direct observation to users of the Cash application. There are 4 problems that are included in the usability aspect. Then recommendations for interface improvements are made in order to increase the value from the usability aspect. Then a second evaluation was carried out using the same method as in the first evaluation, in order to find out the comparison between the first test and the second test. There was an increase in the learnability aspect by 4%, in the efficiency aspect there was an increase of 0.948, in the errors aspect there was a decrease of 0.53%, and also in the satisfaction aspect there was an increase of 10,583.

Abstract

Hi App is a messenger application released in 2020 which was developed by a company in Indonesia called PT. Hello Indonesian Creations. The Hi App application has several features, namely to share messages, photos, videos, voices, documents, and language translation features. Hi App has been downloaded thousands of times. However, users feel that the Hi App application has shortcomings, including the use of English in the application, the layout design that does not use good color contrast, users who are confused about how to add friends' contacts, the Hi App font size cannot be made flexibly and the application also still has lag. The test used in this research is usability testing using task scenario and questionnaire. The test involved 5 respondents to work on task scenario assignments and fill out a questionnaire by 20 respondents. The evaluation results of the Hi App application include the user convenience aspect of 92%, the user speed aspect of 0.016, the user error aspect of 0.2, and the user satisfaction aspect of 20%-40%.

Abstract

Skin disease is one of the most common diseases in Indonesia. In general, skin disease is not fatal, so its presence is often ignored, and people affected do not take it seriously. The solution for implementing E-Health in skin health services is to make it easier for people with skin diseases to get health services directly from specialist doctors. The design of the User Interface on the E-health Website in this study will use a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. In designing the User Interface of the E-Health Website, the frequent appearance of Modal becomes a form of applying the principles of UCD. Modal is a solution because it can maximize Usability, Performance and simplify (Simplify) navigation. The design test in this study using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) questionnaire method resulted in an average score of 6.57 by public health center officers and 6.40 by public health center doctors. The total average satisfaction value of the two users is 6.48, which shows that the UI design of the E-Health Situs Web is easy to use.

Abstract

Information is basic need of every person for personal development and social environment and is an important part of national security. In addition, the right to obtain information is a human rights and the disclosure of public information is one of the important characteristics of a democratic country that upholds the sovereignty of the people. Several laws explicitly guarantee that information is available to everyone, including in rural and urban areas, and has equal access to that information regardless of physical perfection, so that persons with disabilities should be given equal opportunities. Websites have an important role, especially in nowadays information age. Websites becomes a platform for information providers to disseminate through online media. The education sector cannot be separated from the use of the website. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the accessibility of the website, where this research was carried out on the academic and learning portal website of FILKOM UB so that lecture activities at FILKOM UB can be more optimal. This study focuses on analysis related to website accessibility that follows the WCAG 2.0 standard using WAVE and Achecker evaluation tools. Based on the results, it was found that the academic and learning portal website of FILKOM UB did not fully meet the level A standard because there were problems related to link purpose and empty links which were found in almost all the features and pages evaluated. Referring to these results, it can be said that improvements are needed based on the Wave and Achecker documentation, especially in what to do and the relevance conformance level section..

Abstract

Indonesia is a country dominated by a Muslim population, especially in Java, especially East Java Province. In 2014, there were 36,472,783 people who follow Islam based on a survey conducted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and BPS East Java. While in 2019 the same survey was conducted again and found as many as 37,558,874 people who follow Islam. This figure also contributes to the number of people who perform Umrah to the holy land. Therefore, Farfasa Tour Agency as one of the religious tourism service providers has several problems in management. There are frequent problems of agency customers not being able to get information about the schedule, too often going back and forth to the agency office to make sure the data is correct, and recording loans that are often missed. Therefore, an information system application is needed that is expected to help Farfasa Umroh Agency to solve the problem. The information system is developed using the waterfall method which will be developed on an Android-based platform and website. Information system development will go through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Application development on Android will be native using the Kotlin programming language. The development of web-based applications will use the JavaScript programming language that uses ReactJs to build the user interface.
