Abstract

Uncontrolled smartphone usage among children can lead to various negative impacts—psychological, social, and academic. This community service program aimed to empower mothers from the Dasawisma PKK group by providing training and technical assistance in using parental control applications to manage their children's smartphone use. The activities included interactive education, hands-on demonstrations, and group discussions. A total of 25 participants actively engaged in the sessions. The post-activity evaluation revealed that an average of 92.4% of participants agreed or strongly agreed that the training increased their awareness, knowledge, and intention to supervise children's gadget usage more wisely. The highest agreement (94%) was recorded on items related to digital supervision awareness and training benefits. These results indicate that the program effectively enhanced digital parenting capacity. This initiative is expected to serve as a replicable model for strengthening parental roles in digital supervision within the family setting.

Abstract

Advances in computer vision technology enable human-computer interaction without relying on conventional input devices such as keyboards or mice. One prominent technology being widely developed is MediaPipe-based hand tracking, which is capable of mapping hand positions in real-time using an RGB camera. This research implements a hand tracking system using Python and MediaPipe as an alternative control method in a delivery simulation game titled Tofu Deliver. The game was developed using the Unity engine and features a core gameplay concept centered around the production and distribution of tofu to customers. The system architecture incorporates two control modes—keyboard and hand tracking—integrated via TCP socket communication between Unity and Python. Evaluation was conducted to test the accuracy of gesture detection, system responsiveness, and user experience aspects. The implementation results indicate that the hand tracking system successfully drives the vehicle in real-time with optimal response levels, thereby offering a more natural interaction preference compared to conventional control schemes.

Abstract

As time goes by, technology is developing very rapidly, especially in education, technology can be used to support learning. For example, at SDN 04 Sukoharjo, the author found a problem or obstacle that in science learning, photosynthesis material still uses the lecture method, using LKS books, so it is still monotonous, making students bored and not interested, because photosynthesis material is a biological process that cannot be seen directly. Therefore, researchers utilized technology, especially in multimedia, to create 2D animated learning videos of the photosynthesis process. The research method uses the ADDIE method, namely (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The final result of this research is a 2D animation learning video of the science lesson process of photosynthesis.
