Abstract

Elementary school age children are often faced with problems related to dental and oral health, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), and Hand Washing Behavior with Soap (CTPS). The health of elementary school-aged children can be positively impacted through the implementation of health education strategies, such as education about hand washing with soap (CTPS) which influences hand washing attitudes in elementary school students. This research is a literature review research, where the author searches various relevant sources, such as journals, books, articles, the internet, or documents related to the topic under study. From the analysis of various published scientific research journals such as those conducted by Merlina (2018), there are still students (29.3%) who have a poor level of knowledge about (CTPS), 37% do not know the need to wash their hands with soap, 50% do not know why do you have to wash your hands with soap, 35.9% don't know where to wash their hands, and 15.2% don't know the importance of CTPS. The habit of washing your hands with soap regularly can help reduce the risk of contracting diseases that are often transmitted to children in the school environment, such as diarrhea. Good hand washing habits not only protect children from infectious diseases, but also help children acquire healthy living habits that can last throughout the child's life.

Abstract

Contemporary challenges in human ecosystems have developed into global crises, endangering the well-being of humanity. At the same time, environmental changes around the world have prompted introspection regarding the interactions between humans and the ecological environment. Environmental management in this context is a manifestation of ethos or behavior regarding a person's obligation to protect, respect and preserve nature. It encapsulates a broad spectrum of attitudes towards environmental integrity, which translate into actions aimed at improving and maintaining environmental health in all aspects of interaction with nature. Qualitative methodology underlies this research effort. The data collection methodology used includes documentation and literature review. The latter involves searching a variety of written sources including books, archives, periodicals, articles, journals and related documents. These efforts are directed at fostering an environmentally conscious attitude among elementary school students through scholastic activities.

Abstract

Quality education plays a crucial role in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs). This article presents an analysis of the development of quality education as an integral part of efforts to achieve SDGs. Through a descriptive-analytical approach, we explore various aspects related to the development of quality education and its impact on the achievement of SDGs. In this study, we analyze factors influencing the quality of education, including accessibility, curriculum relevance, teaching quality, and community empowerment in the education process. Additionally, we evaluate the extent to which quality education contributes to the achievement of SDGs, particularly in addressing social inequality, gender disparities, and economic empowerment. The results of the analysis indicate that quality education is a key pillar in sustainable development, as it plays a role in improving quality of life, reducing poverty, and creating inclusive and sustainable societies. Significant challenges still exist in achieving quality education for all, especially in rural and remote areas. Enhancing quality education as part of efforts to achieve SDGs involves increasing investment in educational infrastructure, developing curricula relevant to labor market needs, improving teacher training, and strengthening collaboration between governments, the private sector, and civil society in supporting inclusive and sustainable education.
