Abstract

Environmental education is an important effort in forming awareness and responsible behavior towards the environment, especially in young students. This article highlights the urgency of environmental education in shaping students' behavior towards the environment in elementary schools. Using the literature review method, this research presents an overview of the importance of cleanliness of the school environment, strategies for building student character, and the role of schools in environmental education. The research results show that efforts to maintain a clean school environment involve factors such as teacher example, character education, active student participation, and external support. Programs such as mutual cooperation activities and a picket team system in each class have proven to be effective in forming awareness and positive behavior towards the environment. Thus, maintaining the cleanliness of the school environment is not just a physical task, but also an investment in character building and shared prosperity for the entire school community.

Abstract

Currently, the world is experiencing complex and dynamic developments, with its problems. People around us are often faced with social and economic challenges such as conflict, social inequality and poverty. Education for sustainable development is expected to produce a generation that has a sustainable mindset. Currently, Indonesia is trying to improve the quality of its education through implementing the "Merdeka Belajar" curriculum. It is hoped that this step will be a great opportunity for Indonesia to improve the quality of education and increase its competitiveness when compared to other countries. The aim of writing this article is to analyse the role of education in supporting sustainable development. This writing is descriptive and uses various relevant literary sources such as scientific journals. This writing uses data collection techniques or literature studies which are based on information presented in previous research. This article discusses the very important role of education in sustainable development, both domestically and at the global level. Apart from providing knowledge and skills, education also shapes character, increases social, environmental and economic awareness, and teaches individuals responsibility. Programs such as SATAP, SM3T, and Calistung play a major role in supporting quality education and sustainable development.

Abstract

Education is an important suggestion in improving and developing human resources in a nation. conservation has the meaning of preservation, namely to preserve or maintain the carrying capacity, quality, function and ability of the natural environment in a balanced manner. Conservation education is education that provides a positive influence on behavior, attitudes and ways of thinking related to the management of natural resources and the ecosystems that exist in it. The need for conservation education is to foster an attitude of environmental care in children and adults. To form humans who are aware of the importance of preserving rivers, it is necessary to foster, direct and make someone have a soul that loves the environment. Parents as the first and main educators in the household have a very big role in shaping children's attitudes and behavior to care about the environment.

Abstract

The human population increases every year, forming several generations in line with the development of globalization. In the era of society 5.0, it is dominated by the millennial generation and Gen Z. These two generations have different characteristics from previous generations. This is because they were born, grew and developed along with the birth and development of digital technology. So, they are very dependent on technology, want something that is fast, comfortable and simple. This results in demoralization. Therefore, education is an important key in improving the quality of human resources. Continuous education is needed as an effort to improve human quality and welfare. Sustainable education requires educational development that is designed with the future in mind. The goal is to create quality, independent, advanced and modern humans. The aim of this article is to examine the role of sustainable education in the Gen Z era. The research method used is literature. The results are that sustainable education has a very important role in creating quality education, by providing character education, using electronic learning media, creating learning activities that are responsive, flexible and relevant, learning activities by choosing strategies, models and learning methods that are participant-oriented. educate and hone students' soft skills.

Abstract

Currently, government programmes already include high-quality education.  The government is not the only entity trying to improve education.  Private institutions, educational organizations, and the general public are also involved in this effort.  This document aims to gather information as part of an effort to realize the Sustainable Development Goals Programme (SDGs) in the context of improving the quality of education in Indonesia.  This research uses a qualitative research approach with a descriptive approach.  The findings from literary reviews, academic articles, and previous research on this topic served as the basis for discussion.  The study reveals the potential for improving the quality of education in Indonesia and identifies factors that contribute to its low quality.  Teachers need to engage in professional development activities to relevant learning goals in the classroom and improve the quality of education.  When a focus on pedagogy is required, it involves leadership, supervision, and guidance to ensure that established quality standards are met in best educational practices..

Abstract

Pembelajaran perlu disesuaikan dengan karakteristik dan kreativitas siswa sehingga perlu adanya dorongan dari perencanaan pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL pada mata pelajaran matematika, khususnya pada topik bangun ruang. Metode penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Instrument dalam penelitian ini, yaitu lembar soal pretest posttest dan perangkat pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran project-based learning (PjBL). Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kelas VI SDN Ngesrep 03 tahun ajaran 2023/2024 berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu Teknik tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa presentase hasil rata-rata pretest 73% menjadi posttets 77% pada siklus I, pretest 81% menjadi posttest 85% pada siklus II dan pretest 88% menjadi posttest 92% pada siklus III. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran project-based learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi bangun ruang terlihat dari selisih setiap siklus PTK terdapat peningkatan

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia memiliki peran penting sebagai alat pemersatu dan identitas nasional. Namun, hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia masih perlu ditingkatkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas model pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi ‘Sehatlah Ragaku’ di kelas IV SDN Ngesrep 03 Semarang. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) digunakan dalam tiga siklus. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa: dari 54,77 pada tes awal, menjadi 65,00 di siklus I, 75,8 pada siklus II, dan 82,27 pada siklus III, dengan ketuntasan 100% baik secara individual maupun klasikal. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model CTL efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik, terbukti dari kenaikan di setiap siklus baik secara individual maupun klasikal. Model ini membantu siswa memahami konsep secara kontekstual dan aktif dalam pembelajaran. Guru juga dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kontekstual dan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih bermakna. Kesimpulannya, model CTL efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia di kelas IV dan berdampak positif pada proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs) ke-8 menitikberatkan pada penciptaan lapangan kerja yang layak serta pertumbuhan ekonomi yang inklusif di Indonesia. Melalui kajian pustaka, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang dalam mewujudkan tujuan tersebut, terutama terkait masalah pengangguran, ketidaksetaraan sosial, dan keterbatasan sektor informal dalam memberikan pekerjaan yang stabil. Ditemukan bahwa peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, inovasi teknologi, kemitraan sektor publik dan swasta, pemberdayaan perempuan, serta pengembangan UMKM merupakan peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mencapai SDGs ke-8. Artikel ini menyoroti pentingnya peran pemerintah, sektor swasta, dan masyarakat dalam mewujudkan tujuan Pembangunan ekonomi yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. The 8th Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) focuses on creating decent jobs and inclusive economic growth in Indonesia. Through a literature review, this research identifies challenges and opportunities in realizing this goal, especially related to the problem of unemployment, social inequality, and the limitations of the informal sector in providing stable employment. It was found that improving the quality of education, technological innovation, public and private sector partnerships, empowering women, and developing MSMEs are opportunities that can be utilized to achieve the 8th SDGs. This article highlights the important role of government, the private sector and society in realizing inclusive and sustainable economic development goals.

Abstract

Peran strategis konservasi hutan dan keanekaragaman hayati dalam mencapai Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (Sustainable Development Goals/SDGs). Dalam konteks interaksi manusia dengan lingkungan, eksistensi hutan sebagai sumber daya alam yang vital sangat penting untuk kelangsungan hidup manusia dan keseimbangan ekosistem. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana pengelolaan hutan yang berkelanjutan dapat mengatasi isu deforestasi, perubahan iklim, dan dampak negatif terhadap keanekaragaman hayati. Hutan tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai penyerap karbon dioksida, tetapi juga mendukung berbagai layanan ekosistem yang esensial, termasuk pengaturan siklus hidrologi dan penyediaan habitat bagi flora dan fauna. Dengan memperhatikan keberlanjutan, penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan pemangku kepentingan dalam upaya pelestarian hutan. Melalui penerapan sistem agroforestri dan keterlibatan aktif masyarakat lokal, diharapkan dapat tercapai pengelolaan sumber daya hutan yang optimal, yang pada gilirannya mendukung pencapaian SDGs dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi konservasi yang inklusif dan berbasis kearifan lokal dapat memberikan manfaat ekonomi sekaligus menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem, sehingga menjadi kunci dalam menghadapi tantangan lingkungan global.

Abstract

Pendidikan berkualitas merupakan salah satu tujuan utama dalam Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), khususnya pada SDGs 4, yang menekankan pentingnya pendidikan inklusif, merata, dan memberikan kesempatan belajar sepanjang hayat bagi setiap individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif berbasis literatur untuk menganalisis peran pembelajaran kearifan lokal dalam mendukung pendidikan berkualitas. Data diperoleh melalui jurnal dan artikel yang relevan, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran meningkatkan relevansi pendidikan, memperkuat identitas budaya, serta menanamkan nilai-nilai moral untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda menghadapi tantangan global tanpa melupakan akar budaya. Pembelajaran ini efektif menciptakan pendidikan inklusif melalui pendekatan yang sesuai konteks lokal. Quality education is one of the main goals in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially SDGs 4, which emphasizes the importance of inclusive, equitable education and providing lifelong learning opportunities for every individual. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method based on literature to analyze the role of local wisdom learning in supporting quality education. Data were obtained through relevant journals and articles, then analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that the integration of local wisdom in learning increases the relevance of education, strengthens cultural identity, and instills moral values ​​to prepare the younger generation to face global challenges without forgetting cultural roots. This learning is effective in creating inclusive education through an approach that is appropriate to the local context.
