Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh pemberian tepung gambir (Uncaria gambir Roxb) melalui air minum terhadap performa broiler. Penelitian dilakukan dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 5 ekor broiler.  Perlakuan A sebagai kontrol, perlakuan B penambahan 2,5 gram tepung gambir / liter air minum, penambahan 5 gram tepung gambir / liter air minum (C), penambahan 7,5 gram tepung gambir /liter air minum  (D) dan penambahan  10 gram tepung gambir / air muinum (E). Variabel penelitian meliputi pertambahan bobot badan, konsumsi ransum, konversi ransum dan persentase karkas broiler. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa suplementasi tepung gambir (Uncaria gambir Roxb)  sebanyak 5 gram dalam 1 liter air minum broiler berpengaruh signifikan terhadap konversi pakan dan pertambahan bobot yaitu terjadi peningkatan pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi pakan yang efisien, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap  konsumsi pakan dan persentase karkas.   Kata kunci: Ayam Broiler, Performans,Tepung Gambir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan eco enzyme berbasis bawang dayak (Eleutherine palmifolia Merr.) dalam air minum terhadap performa ayam broiler yang meliputi konsumsi ransum, pertambahan bobot badan dan konversi ransum. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 ekor DOC dengan masing-masing ulangan terdapat 5 ekor ayam. Perlakuan yang diberikan yakni A0 = tanpa penambahan eco enzyme bawang dayak, A1 = penambahan 1% eco enzyme bawang dayak per liter air minum, A2 = penambahan 1,5% eco enzyme bawang dayak per liter air minum, A3 = penambahan 2% eco enzyme bawang dayak per liter air minum, A4 = penambahan 2,5% eco enzyme bawang dayak per liter air minum. Variabel yang diamati yakni bobot badan, konsumsi ransum, dan konversi ransum. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa penambahan eco enzyme berbasis bawang dayak tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap pertambahan bobot badan ayam broiler, konsumsi ransum dan konversi ransum. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penambahan eco enzyme berbasis bawang dayak dengan level yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap performa broiler.   Kata kunci: Broiler, Bawang dayak, Eco enzyme, Performa

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving Gamal leaf flour and the best dose of giving Gamal leaf flour in the ration on broiler carcasses. The research was carried out experimentally with a Completely Randomized Design consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, each treatment consisting of 5 broilers. The treatments given consisted of control without giving Gamal leaf flour (A), giving 2% Gamal leaf flour (B), giving 4% Gamal leaf flour (C), and giving 6% Gamal leaf flour (D). Research parameters include carcass percentage, upper carcass percentage, and lower carcass percentage for broilers. The results of the research showed that the provision of Gamal leaf flour (Gliricidia sepium) was found to have a significant positive effect (p<0.05) on the percentage of the carcass, the percentage of the upper carcass, and the percentage of the lower carcass of broilers. The provision of gamal leaf flour (Gliricidia sepium) at a concentration of 2% gave the best results on broiler carcasses where the percentage of carcass was 69.978%, the percentage of upper carcass 44.41%, and the percentage of lower carcass 34.966%.

Abstract

Peternakan merupakan salah satu mata pencaharian utama masyarakat Nagari Taram, Kecamatan Harau, Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota, Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Kurangnya pengatahuan masyarakat dan kualitas pakan yang rendah menjadi permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat.Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengatahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam pembuatan pakan suplemen berupa permen jilat untuk sapi. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah sosialisasi, praktek dan evaluasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada Kelompok Tani Amanah, Nagari Taram, Kecamatan Harau, Kabupaten Limapuluh Kota. Hasil dari kegiatan ini dilihat dari antusiasme masyarakat dalam menghadiri sosialisasi dan praktek pembuatan permen jilat sapi. Selain itu,hasil evaluasi pada ternak masyarakat ditemukan bahwa pemberian permen jilat dapat mengoptimalkan pertambahan bobot badan sapi yang hanya diberi hijauan rumput lapang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of administering eco enzyme based on Dayak onions (Eleutherine palmifolia Merr.) on broiler lymphoid organs including bursa fabricius, spleen and thymus. The design used was a completely randomized design consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. There are 100 broilers aged 1 day to 35 days. Each test consists of 40 animals. Treatments were: A0= without addition of Dayak onion eco enzyme, A1= addition of 1% Dayak onion eco enzyme, A2= addition of 1.5% Dayak onion eco enzyme, A3= addition of 2% Dayak onion eco enzyme, A4= addition of 2.5 % eco enzyme Dayak onion. The variables observed were the bursa of Fabricius, spleen and thymus. The results of the research showed that the addition of eco enzyme based on Dayak onions had no significant effect (P>0.05) on the percentage of bursa fabricius, spleen and thymus. The conclusion of this research is that the addition of Dayak onion-based eco enzyme at different levels does not have a significant effect on broiler lymphoid organs. The addition of up to 2.5% in drinking water can still be tolerated by broilers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung daun gamal (Gliricidia sepium) dan dosis terbaik pemberian tepung daun gamal (Gliricidia sepium) dalam ransum terhadap performans broiler. Penelitian dilakukan secara eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan, setiap perlakuan terdiri dari lima ekor broiler.  Perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri dari kontrol tanpa pemberian tepung daun gamal (P0), pemberian 2% tepung daun gamal dalam ransum (P1), pemberian 4% tepung daun gamal dalam ransum (P2), pemberian 6% tepung daun gamal dalam ransum (P3). Parameter penelitian meliputi bobot akhir, pertambahan bobot badan, konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan, dan mortalitas broiler. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa pemberian tepung daun gamal (Gliricidia sepium) sebanyak 2% dalam ransum broiler berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan bobot akhir, pertambahan bobot badan broiler dan dapat mennekan mortalitas broiler, namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi pakan, dan konversi pakan.   Kata kunci: Broiler, Performans, Tepung Daun Gamal
