Abstract

Pemberian antibiotik pada ayam dapat meninggalkan residu pada karkasnya dan berpotensi menyebabkan resistensi pada konsumen yang terus-menerus terpapar. Tepung kedelai umumnya mengandung protein kasar, namun pemberiannya harus diatur agar tidak berlebihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung gambir (Uncaria gambir roxb) dengan tepung bungkil kedelai (soybean meal) dalam air minum. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama kurang lebih 6 bulan di kandang ayam Politeknik Pertanian Negeri Payakumbuh. Bahan yang digunakan adalah DOC ayam broiler, gambir, bungkil kedelai pakan pomersil, desinfektan, vaksin, kapur, sekam. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan empat perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu pemberian tepung gambir (Uncaria gambir Roxb) dan tepung bungkil kedelai (Soybean meal) dalam air minum broiler, meliputi A = tanpa perlakuan, B = 0,5 gr gambir ditambah 1,5 gr bungkil kedelai, C = 1 gr gambir ditambah 1 gr bungkil kedelai, D = 1,5 gr gambir ditambah 0,5 gr bungkil kedelai. Hasil analisis sidik ragam didapatkan bahwa penambahan feed additive tepung gambir dan bungkil kedelai yang diberikan dalam air minum broiler memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap perentase karkas broiler, berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap persentase paha broiler. Tetapi tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap persentase dada, punggung dan sayap broiler.   Kata kunci: Tepung gambir, Tepung kedelai, Broiler, Karkas

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengindentifikasi fertilitas, daya tetas, mortalitas embrio, berat tetas dan lama menetas telur ayam kampung unggul balitbangtan (KUB) dengan penggunaan rebusan daun jambu biji, daun pepaya dan daun sirih sebagai bahan sanitasi telur. Penelitian ini menggunakan 100 butir telur tetas. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) empat perlakuan dengan lima ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri dari kontrol (P0), rebusan daun jambu biji 25% (P1), rebusan daun pepaya 25% (P2), dan rebusan daun sirih 25% (P3). Variabel yang diukur adalah fertilitas, daya tetas, mortalitas embrio, berat tetas dan lama menetas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengaruh pengguanaan rebusan daun jambu biji, daun pepaya, dan daun sirih dengan konsentrasi yang sama yaitu 25% tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan (P>0,05) terhadap fertilitas dan berat tetas, namun memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap daya tetas, mortalitas embrio dan lama menetas serta dapat menurunkan total koloni bakteri pada kerabang telur. Hasil terbaik pada penelitian ini serta pada pengujian TPC ditemukan pada penggunaan rebusan daun sirih 25%.   Kata kunci: Penetasan, Rebusan daun jambu biji, Rebusan daun pepaya, Rebusan daun sirih, Telur ayam kampung unggul Balitbangtan

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui pengaruh pemberian tepung gambir dan bungkil kedelai terhadap performans broiler serta dosis/level terbaik penggunaan tepung gambir dan bungkil kedelai yang diberikan melalui air minum terhadap performans broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimen menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan). Adapun perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu P0 = kontrol, P1 = tepung gambir 0,5 g + bungkil kedelai 1,5 g/liter air minum, P2 = tepung gambir 1 g + bungkil kedelai 1 g/liter air minum, P3 = tepung gambir 1,5 g + bungkil kedelai 0,5 g/liter air minum. Parameter yang diamati meliputi performans broiler (bobot akhir, pertambahan bobot badan, konsumsi ransum, konversi ransum, dan mortalitas broiler). Hasil penelitian ditemukan pemberian tepung gambir dan bungkil kedelai dapat meningkatkan performans broiler secara signifikan (p<0,05). Hasil uji lanjut BNJ ditemukan pemberian tepung gambir 0,5 g dan bungkil kedelai 1,5 g memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap performans broiler dibandingkan kontrol dan perlakuan lain. Abstract

Many natural components are currently being looked for as substitute feed additives in broiler feed and drinking water to increase the effectiveness and quality of broiler production. Pandan leaves are one possible herbal component. The study's goal was to determine the optimal pandan infusion dosage for broiler carcasses, abdominal fat deposition. In this study, one hundred broiler aged one day were divided into 4 treatments and 5 replicates using a completely randomized design (CRD). The trial lasted four weeks in the Payakumbuh State Agricultural Polytechnic production laboratory's broiler stage cage.  Twenty broilers per treatmnets were given pandan leaf infusa to drinking water. The four tretamnets were as follows:  no additon of pandan infusion (A0), 1% addition (A1), 2% addition (A2) and; 3% addition (A3). The findings demonstrated that the research variables were not significantly impacted (P̃ > 0.05) by the addition of pandan leaf infusa to drinking water. The percentage of carcass ranged from 66.52% to 71.56%, and the percentage of abdominal fat ranged from 0.92% to 0.77%. These findings lead to the conclusion that adding up to 3% of leaf infusion to drinking water did not improved carcass and abdominal fat deposition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana manfaat dan performa probiotik berbasis Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei terhadap penampilan produksi dan karkas broiler. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan, lima kali ulangan, dan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 10 ekor ayam pedaging. Variabel yang diamati meliputi bobot akhir broiler, pertambahan bobot badan (PBB), persentase karkas, konsumsi pakan, konversi pakan (FCR), dan indeks performans (IP) broiler. Analisis data menggunakan uji one way ANOVA dan DMRT untuk melihat pengaruh perlakuan dan beda hasil antar perlakuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian probiotik berbasis Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei dapat meningkatkan bobot akhir ayam pedaging, PBB, persentase karkas, menekan FCR, dan meningkatkan IP broiler (P<0,05), tetapi tidak berdampak terhadap konsumsi pakan broiler (P>0,05). Pemberian probiotik berbasis Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei ditemukan dapat meningkatkan produksi dan persentase karkas broiler. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa jenis probiotik ini (Rhyzopus oryzae dan Lactobacillus casei) dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif pengganti AGP pada broiler.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan guna mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekoenzim berbasis daun Senduduk yang diberikan melalui air minum terhadap performans dan mortalitas broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimen menggunakan RAL (4 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan). Adapun perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu P0 : kontrol (tanpa ekoenzim), P1 : 7,5 ml ekoenzim/liter air minum, P2 : 10 ml ekoenzim/liter air minum, dan P3 : 12,5 ml ekoenzim/liter air minum. Parameter yang diamati meliputi pertambahan berat badan, konsumsi ransum, konversi ransum, persentase karkas dan mortalitas broiler. Hasil penelitian ditemukan pemberian ekoenzim berbasis Senduduk berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap (p˃0,05) performa dan mortalitas broiler. Pemberian ekoenzim berbasis daun Senduduk hingga level 12,5 ml/liter air minum tidak menurunkan performa broiler dilihat dari konsumsi, pertambahan berat badan, konversi ransum serta persentase karkas broiler hasil penelitian. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the response of the lymphoid organs of broilers with the addition of fermented castor leaves (Jatropha curcas Lin) and ginger (Zingiber officinale Var) in drinking water against the immunity of broilers, measured through the weight of lymphoid organs (bursa fabricius, thymus, and spleen) and final weight. The method used is an experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consist of : A (control), B (Addition of 0,5% fermented castor leaves and ginger in 1 liter of water), C (Addition of 1% fermented castor leaves and ginger in 1 liter of water), D (Addition of 1,5% fermented castor leaves and ginger in 1 liter of water), E (Addition of 2% fermented castor leaves and ginger in 1 liter of water). The observed parameters include the weight of lymphoid organs (bursa fabricius, thymus, spleen) and final weight. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research results show that the addition of fermented castor leaves and ginger has nonsignificant effect (P>0,05) on the weight of the bursa of fabricius, thymus, spleen and final weight. The conclusion of this study is that the addition of fermented castor leaves and ginger in drinking water is acceptable without producing negative effects that significantly influence the percentage of lymphoid organ weight, and thus can be considered as a feed additive in drinking water for broilers to enhance body resistance.
