The integration of the materials then led to materials development for encouraging the students’ involvement and concentration. The researchers assumed there were some considerations the teacher should pay attention in using the materials, those are: 1) the teachers should give the instruction clearly to the students; 2) the teachers should be more creative in developing materials for the students; 3) the teacher should enhance her knowledge of materials development for students with special needs; 4) Every student has different characteristics, therefore the materials should be applied in the basis of students’ capacity and ability

In analyzing the data, the interactive model of data analysis proposed by Miles and Huberman was used. Based on the synergistic findings demonstrate that: (1) the different levels of proficiency in writing do not affect the attitudes of the students as the informants. Most of the informants (the students) have positive attitudes towards teachers’ corrective feedback; (2) the attitudes of the students affect their achievement in writing English. The major recommendations are that lecturers should carefully scrutinize target language features; practice a variety of suitable corrective feedback; and cater for individual students’ specific needs.  Keywords:  students’ attitudes, corrective feedback, teaching writing.
