Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tantangan siswa kelas lima di UPT SPF SD Percontohan PAM dalam memahami imbuhan bahasa Indonesia, khususnya awalan. Metode pengajaran tradisional, bahkan dengan bantuan video, belum memberikan hasil yang optimal, terbukti dari kesalahan siswa yang terus-menerus dalam memahami imbuhan. Kurangnya alat pembelajaran interaktif diidentifikasi sebagai faktor penyebab. Siswa juga menghadapi kesulitan dalam menerapkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah pada masalah bahasa kontekstual. Untuk meningkatkan pengalaman belajar mereka, penelitian ini mengusulkan implementasi media pembelajaran interaktif bernama Keping Kata. Tujuannya adalah untuk membangun suasana belajar yang lebih menarik dan mampu menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan siswa, sehingga mereka terdorong untuk aktif belajar dan pada akhirnya meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang imbuhan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Efektivitas Keping Kata akan dievaluasi melalui observasi dan analisis interaksi siswa dan hasil belajar.

Abstract

The Greatest Showman tells the story of Barnum's journey to realize his dream of establishing the Barnum & Bailey Circus, a large circus featuring people with physical uniqueness and extraordinary talents. This study aims to analyze how the class struggle depicted by PT Barnum as the main character to achieve success, as well as the forms of power carried out by the main character in the film The Greatest Showman. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method using the analysis of the French & Raven (1959) power theory. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation and literature study. Based on the research that has been done, the researcher concludes that this film shows many things to become a good leader and be able to have a big impact on society. We are all leaders in our lives. So, this film gives us many things that we can learn to have a better life.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat internal UHO, dalam bentuk Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat oleh Tim PKM UHO, merencanakan kegiatan yang melibatkan mitra dalam hal ini ibu-ibu PKK dan remaja putri di Kelurahan Kendari Caddi. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada ibu rumah tangga di Kelurahan Kendari Kota Kendari adalah kurangnya kreativitas dan produktivitas. tidak adanya kegiatan yang berorientasi pada kemandirian ekonomi, keterbatasan modal untuk memulai bisnis, dan kurangnya keterampilan baik soft skill maupun hard skill dalam dunia kewirausahaan. Hal ini mengakibatkan para ibu-ibu PKK dan remaja putri tidak dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga. Solusi yang ditawarkan melalui kegiatan pemanfaatan sumber daya hayati lokal daun jati melalui kegiatan kerajinan ecoprint Melalui kegiatan ini, dihasilkan produk kerajinan yang dapat dipasarkan dengan memanfaatkan pangsa pasar yang ada. Keterampilan kerajinan ecoprint ini diharapkan bisa menjadikan Kelurahan Kendari Caddi sebagai pusat wilayah wisata edukasi kerajinan ecoprint khususnya di Kota Kendari. Luaran yang diharapkan dari kegiatan tim PKM UHO, yaitu: mitra kegiatan ini akan mendapatkan pelatihan dan ketrampilan membuat kerajinan ecoprint yang mempunyai nilai seni dan produk yang dihasilkan memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi sehingga masyarakat menjadi lebih produktif dan diharapkan Kelurahan Kendari Caddi bisa menjadi pusat wisata edukasi khususnya untuk kerajinan ecoprint di Kota Kendari.

Abstract

Studi ini mengukur tingkat efektivitas media kertas origami dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa kelas 2 dalam memahami konsep bangundatar. Penelitian ini menerapkan desain PTK dengan dua siklus.. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 28 ssiwa dari SDNnPercontohan PAM. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes dan non tes untuk mengukur perubahan hasil siswa setelah penerapan media origami. Hasil penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa penggunaan media kertas origami sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif agar siswa kelas 2 lebih memahami konsep bangunodatar. Kenaikan persentaso siswa yang tuntas belajar dari 64,3% menjadi 82,1% menunjukkan bahwa media origami mampu membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami siswa

Abstract

This paper reports on a research conducted to explore English major students view on becoming a translator as their future profession. The focus is divided into 3 main concerns 1) do  the students consider translator as their profession after graduation? 2)do  the students think they are equipped with enough knowledge on becoming a translator? 3)what elements should the English Department provide to support their career choice?. These concerns were presented in a perceptional questionnaire as the main data collection technique that aims to find out whether the students of English Literature as the University of Muhammadiyah Gorontalo would consider translator as their career. This is a qualitative research with total sampling as the technique of data collection. The subject of the research were 20 students of 6th semester majoring in English Literature at Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo. The result of the study showed that the students have moderate consideration on choosing a career path of translation. There are several reason behind such thoughts, one of which is they do not think they qualified for becoming a professional translator or choosing the line of work as their future profession. Moreover, they think that the faculty can provide more classes on translation to build both their skills and their confidence on becoming future translators.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metode pengukuran indeks mutu pendidikan berdasarkan standar nasional sebagai upaya pemantauan dan peningkatan mutu sistem pendidikan. Dalam konteks pendidikan, indeks mutu merupakan ukuran yang memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang tingkat keberhasilan dan efektifitas sistem pendidikan dalam mencapai tujuan yang telah ditetapkan. Standar nasional digunakan sebagai pedoman dan acuan untuk menentukan sejauh mana sistem pendidikan telah mencapai mutu yang diharapkan. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi yang relevan terkait dengan kriteria standar nasional. Data tersebut akan diolah dan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik dan metode analisis lainnya untuk menghasilkan indeks mutu pendidikan yang komprehensif. Indeks ini akan mencakup berbagai dimensi seperti kurikulum, pendidik, fasilitas, manajemen, dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi para pengambil keputusan di bidang pendidikan untuk terus melakukan perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas sistem pendidikan. Indeks mutu pendidikan berdasarkan standar nasional dapat menjadi alat yang efektif dalam mendorong akuntabilitas, transparansi, dan kesadaran akan pentingnya pencapaian standar mutu yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan mutu pendidikan di tingkat nasional terus meningkat dan memberikan dampak positif bagi pembangunan dan kemajuan bangsa.

Abstract

Little Women is a film that offers strong and well-defined characters who each have their own unique way of speaking. Through the analysis of their language, we can see how their strengths, weaknesses, and internal conflicts are reflected in the way they use language. This study aims to reveal the strengths through language found in the March family in the film Little Women. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive research method using the analysis of the theory of French and Raven (1959). Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation and literature study. Based on the research that has been done, the researcher draws the conclusion that Jo March eventually succeeded in becoming a writer and her books were successfully published. In this study, the author found four powers contained in Frenc and Raven's theory, namely Legitimate Power, Reward Power, Coercive Power, and information power.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The direct (face-to-face) learning approach that is centered on the teacher in Data Base System lectures causes the learning process to be passive. Students' understanding is not optimal in certain competencies so that the final average of students does not reach the predetermined competency standards. This paper presents a learning model for Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Database System with a combination of Tutorial and Drill and Practice models. The research uses the R & D (Research and Development) method with three main stages, namely conducting an initial study to find information about the learning model to be developed, developing a model based on the results of the problem study, and conducting field trials. The results of the pretest and posttest showed an increase in learning completeness by 72.41%, as evidenced by the significance test which experienced a significant increase. Keywords: Learning Model, Database System, Computer Assisted Instruction, Research and Development, Tutorial, Drill and PracticeABSTRAK Pendekatan pembelajaran langsung (tatap muka) yang berpusat pada pengajar dalam perkuliahan Sistem Basis Data menyebabkan proses belajar menjadi pasif. Pemahaman mahasiswa tidak maksimal pada bagian kompetensi tertentu sehingga rerata nilai akhir mahasiswa tidak mencapai standar kompetensi yang telah ditetapkan. Paper ini menyajikan model pembelajaran Sistem Basis Data berbantuan Komputer (Computer Assisted Instruction/ CAI) dengan kombinasi model Tutorial dan Drill and Practice. Penelitian menggunakan metode R & D (Research and Development) dengan Tiga tahapan utama, yaitu melakukan studi awal untuk mencari informasi mengenai model pembelajaran yang akan dikembangkan, mengembangkan model berdasarkan hasil kajian permasalahan, dan melakukan uji coba lapangan. Hasil uji pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 72,41%, yang dibuktikan dengan uji signifikasi yang memperlihatkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Abstract

Instructional design plays an important role in improving the quality of learning and the learning experience of students. But in fact, many universities (especially in the field of Information Technology) have not developed a structured learning design, so that the learning process becomes ineffective. This paper presents a database system learning design model using the Borg and Gall step 1 development model and adapting all stages in the Dick and Carey model. The research consists of four main stages: conducting a preliminary study to find information about the learning product to be developed; develop products based on research findings; conduct field trials on the products developed; and revise products based on test results. The product quality of the developed learning design model is measured from aspects of validity and aspects of practicality. Validity is assessed through expert validation (database system learning material expert, instructional design expert, graphic media expert, and linguist). The measurement results obtained an average value of 5 (on a scale of 1-5), which means that the product of the learning design model developed is included in the valid category. Practicality is measured based on the responses of students and teachers. The results of the practicality measurement obtained an average value of 4.56 (on a scale of 1-5), which means that the product of the learning design model developed is included in the Practically used category

Abstract

Composite is a new type of material which is the result of engineering, consisting of two or more materials, with the properties of each material being different from each other both in terms of chemical and physical properties. The aim of this research is to determine the tensile and flexural strength values of pineapple leaf fiber composites with a cross-ply laminate configuration with fiber arrangement angles [0, 90°, 0°], [45˚, -45˚, 45˚] and [ 30°, -30°, 30°]. This research uses fiber arrangement directions [0, 90°, 0°], [45˚, -45˚, 45˚] and [30˚, -30 ˚, 30 ˚] with a cross-ply laminate configuration and uses. The composite was made in a composite mold measuring P = 190 mm, L = 90 mm and t = 5 mm. The results of this research show that the influence of the pineapple leaf fiber orientation angle on the average tensile stress value of composites with pineapple leaf fiber cross-ply laminate configuration with the highest tensile stress value is shown by the fiber direction at an angle of [30°, -30°, 30°] amounted to 27,611 MPa, while the lowest composite value with the angle [45˚, -45˚, 45˚] was 19,407 MPa. The highest bending stress value is found in the composite with an orientation angle of [0, 90°, 0°] with an average value of 59.002 MPa, while the composite with a fiber orientation angle of [45˚, -45˚, 45˚] has a higher bending stress value. low at 32.974 MPa.
