Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah pertama, Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis Proses Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam Penguatan Karakter dan Sikap Peduli Sosial di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja Ampat. Kedua, Untuk mendeskripsiskan dan menganalisis factor pendukung dan penghambat Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam Penguatan Karakter dan Sikap Peduli Sosial di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja Ampat. Ketiga, Untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis dampak Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) dan sikap sosial pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja AmpatPenelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara Observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model intraktif Miles Huberman dan Saldana dengan langkah-langkah: (1) pengumpulan data, (2) Kondensasi data, (3) penyajian data dan, (4) penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pembelajan Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam Penguatan Karakteer dan Sikap Peduli Sosial di SMA GUPPI Fafanlap Raja Ampat menjadi kunci pembentukan karakter siswa berakhlak mulia. Pembentukan karakter dan sikap sosial siswa melalui pendekatan integrative dan aplikatif. Nilai-nilai keagamaan dan moral etika ditanamkan melalui keteladanan guru dan kegiatan keagamaan rutin. Sinergi antara guru, wali kelas, dan orang tua memperkuat internalisasi nilai di sekolah dan rumah. Evaluasi yang menyentuh aspek sikap dan perilaku mendorong siswa mengamalkan nilai secara nyata. 2). Faktor pendukung meliputi kreativitas pedagogik, integritas pribadi, budaya religius sekolah, dan dukungan orang tua. Kegiatan tadarus pagi, salat berjamaah, dan peringatan hari besar Islam menjadi sarana efektif pembinaan akhlak. Hambatan utama mencakup rendahnya minat belajar PAI, pengaruh negatif media sosial, penggunaan HP yang berlebihan, serta keterbatasan sarana dan waktu. 3) Dampak pada terbentuknya karakter religius, disiplin, sopan santun, tanggung jawab, empati, dan toleransi siswa. Nilai-nilai ini dibiasakan melalui praktik langsung, membentuk budaya sekolah yang religius dan kondusif, serta menghasilkan generasi beriman, berakhlak, dan siap berkontribusi di masyarakat.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Pertama; Untuk menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dalam menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis-spiritualis dalam peningkatan lembaga Pendidikan Islam di SMP Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Manokwari. Kedua; Untuk menganalisis peran keteladanan kepala sekolah dalam membangun budaya kerja yang demokratis-spiritualis di lingkungan SMP Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Manokwari Ketiga; Untuk menganalisis Dampak kepemimpinan demokratis-spiritualis Kepala Sekolah dalam peningkatan lembaga Pendidikan islam di SMP Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia Manokwari. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, jenisnya field research. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara: Pertama; Observasi semi partisipan, Kedua; Wawancara semi terstruktur, dan Ketiga; Dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model intraktif Miles Huberman dan Saldana dengan langkah-langkah: Pertama; Pengumpulan data, Kedua; Kondensasi data, Ketiga; Penyajian data dan, Keempat; Penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi dan member chek. Triangulasi yang digunakan ada dua yaitu triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode. Hasil Penelitian: Pertama; Kepala sekolah SMP Islam Terpadu Insan Mulia menerapkan kepemimpinan demokratis dengan melibatkan guru dan staf dalam setiap keputusan melalui musyawarah dan rapat terbuka. Kebijakan disampaikan secara transparan kepada seluruh pihak, menciptakan komunikasi yang terbuka dan partisipatif. Kedua; Peran keteladanan pada nilai-nilai spiritual seperti kejujuran, amanah, dan ketakwaan, yang diwujudkan melalui keteladanan ibadah, disiplin, dan akhlak. Kepala sekolah juga aktif dalam mentoring ruhani dan pembinaan keagamaan untuk guru dan siswa. Ketiga; Dampak Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memberikan dampak positif dengan mendorong musyawarah, aktif, dan kepercayaan yang memotivasi guru dan bertanggung jawab. Nilai-nilai spiritual seperti kejujuran dan kasih sayang memperkuat budaya kerja yang disiplin. Keteladanan serta pembinaan melalui kegiatan keagamaan rutin menanamkan akhlakul karimah pada siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: pertama, mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan bahan ajar Ilmu Falak Ruhani berbasis Android pada materi perhitungan waktu terbaik doa hari Jumat di Madrasah Al-Hikam Jakarta Selatan; kedua, menilai tingkat kevalidan dan kepraktisan bahan ajar berbasis Android yang dikembangkan; dan ketiga, menguji efektivitas penggunaannya dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep serta praktik perhitungan waktu mustajab doa dalam Ilmu Falak Ruhani. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (RD) dengan model ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahap, yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memperoleh persentase kelayakan tinggi dari ahli materi (92%), ahli bahasa (96%), dan ahli desain (96%), sehingga dikategorikan sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan juga menunjukkan rata-rata respon 92,46% dari guru, individu, kelompok kecil, maupun uji lapangan, sehingga dikategorikan sangat praktis. Selain itu, bahan ajar ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap perhitungan hisab abjadiyyah dan penentuan waktu terbaik doa, yang sebelumnya sulit dipahami melalui cara manual. Integrasi ilmu keislaman dengan teknologi digital dalam penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembelajaran yang lebih efektif, efisien, dan menarik. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar dalam pengembangan kurikulum Ilmu Falak Ruhani berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of developing curriculum components on upgrading the students’ English acquisition in State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Sorong, Southwest Papua Province Indonesia. Developing curriculum components presented goals, contents, approaches, methods, and evaluation precisely is to know the students’ English acquisition covering vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The sample size for this study comprises 72 students consisting of 36 students from Class A and 36 others from Class B, representing the experimental group and a control group. Those groups were selected based ona partitional clustering method. An experimental design was employed to conduct the study, which involved gathering quantitative data from the pre-test and post-test. It was to obtain the students’ English acquisition achievements. To analyze the collected data, SPSS is used for a precise and efficient process of the various necessary outputs describing meaningful conclusions. The pre-test findings conclude no significant difference in students’ achievement before treatment.After treatment, the post-test found the t-value was greater than t-table (t-value 4.690 t-table 2.000). This data strongly indicates a positive impact of developing curriculum components to improve students’ acquisition of English elements for the experimental group. This means the study summarized and emphasized the development of curriculum components precisely, structurally, systematically, and professionally for the teachers to upgrade their students’ acquisition of English elements significantly.

Abstract

Background: The Nurul Bahri’s Mosque Welfare Agency (BKM) develops local wisdom leadership in fostering the skills and harmony of the Muslim young generation. Research Objective: This study aims to explore the strategies in fostering Islamic leadership among youth at the Nurul Bahri Mosque in Sorong City, Southwest Papua Province, Indonesia, and its contribution to maintaining a harmonious life. Methods: This qualitative study used interviews, observation, and documentation with six BKM administrators, three mosque youth mentors, and ten purposively selected active youths engaged in leadership, arts, culture, organizational activities, and community development within mosque-based programs. This study collected data over a period of about ten months, from June 2024 to April 2025. Results: The results show that the youth development has advanced from informal activities to structured programs that enhance confidence, leadership, communication, and cultural skills. Islamic arts serve as both a means of religious outreach and a medium for creativity, social legitimacy, and interfaith tolerance. These outcomes differ from Lombok’s predominantly Muslim yet ethnically rooted Sasak culture, Belgium’s highly diverse and secular European population, and Malaysia’s multicultural Malay–Chinese–Indian society. Each demographic context shapes youth engagement and cultural expression differently, making this mosque-based model distinctive. Conclusion: This study concludes that BKM Nurul Bahri Mosque develops an integrative youth model blending spiritual education, skills training, and Islamic arts, recommending mosque adoption and policy support to strengthen youth leadership, cultural engagement, and social harmony in multicultural communities.

Abstract

This study investigates the integration of soft-skill strategies in teaching Akidah Akhlak at MAN Kota Sorong, driven by the issue of limited awareness between teachers and students. The research aims to explore how interpersonal, intrapersonal, and effective communication skills are embedded within the teaching process, the role of teachers as facilitators and learning managers, and the forms of evaluation and constructive feedback used. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study involved 14 participants—12 students (6 males and six females) selected from 300 eleventh-grade students based on character diversity and family background, and 2 Akidah Akhlak teachers. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations and were then analysed thematically to reveal the lived experiences and meanings participants perceived. Findings indicate that most students recognized the partial integration of soft skills through thematic and cooperative learning; yet, several admitted that such practices were rarely emphasized or explicitly connected to moral instruction. Teachers reported limited mastery and consistency in applying soft-skill-based approaches due to curriculum rigidity and inadequate training. Despite these challenges, both teachers and students agreed that integrating soft skills—such as empathy, communication, and self-control—greatly enhances moral awareness and character formation. The study concludes that embedding soft skills into Akidah Akhlak instruction is essential for addressing pedagogical and behavioural challenges. It recommends systematic teacher training and technology-based learning designs to strengthen students’ moral competence and adaptive interpersonal behaviour.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to know the common errors that the students in the batch 2020 of the English Education Department of Tarbiyah Faculty at IAIN Sorong made in Argumentative essay Writing. Theoretically, this research intends to identify, define, classify, and finally explain the cause of errors. The writer used the qualitative method in this research, where the researcher analyzed the students’ writing to know the types of errors they make most in their writing grammatically and to know the causes of errors. After that, the writer described the number of errors that the students made. For this research, the writer analyzed each student's writing, finds out and classifies the errors he or she made, and lists them in tables. Furthermore, from those errors, the writer concluded what the causes of those errors are. After analyzing the data, the researcher found that there are four types of errors made by the students to Dulay's Theory. First, the errors of Omission with a percentage of 39%, followed by Addition with a percentage of 19%, the errors of misformation with a percentage of 41%, and the last misordering with a percentage of 2% of 100% from all errors made by the students.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) for children with special needs at a public special junior high school in Sorong City. It employs a qualitative descriptive method using observation, interviews, and documentation involving the school principal, two teachers, one parent, and three students with intellectual disabilities, hearing impairments, and autism. The findings indicate that IRE is not taught by specialized IRE teachers but instead by classroom teachers through an internal rotation system, often without formal training in Islamic education or special needs pedagogy. The curriculum is simplified and thematic and does not fully align with the official syllabus. Teaching methods are still dominated by lectures and storytelling without adaptive media. In fact, students respond more positively to visual, practical, and audiovisual learning approaches. The study concludes that IRE instruction has not yet been inclusive and highlights the importance of trained teachers and the development of adaptive teaching materials.
