Abstract

Meningkatnya penggunaan pinjaman online di masyarakat, terutama di kalangan pelajar dan pendidik, menimbulkan masalah baru dalam literasi keuangan. Kegagalan untuk memahami perbedaan antara pinjaman online yang legal dan ilegal, beserta risiko-risiko yang menyertainya, membuat banyak orang rentan terjebak dalam utang yang berbahaya. Di SMAN 3 Padang Panjang, instruksi khusus diberikan mengenai dimensi hukum pinjaman online. Program ini mencakup peserta tentang perbedaan antara pinjaman yang legal dan melanggar hukum, strategi untuk menghindari jebakan utang, dan kriteria untuk memilih pinjaman yang sesuai. Hasil penilaian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap dimensi hukum pinjaman online, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan memfasilitasi penilaian keuangan yang lebih bijaksana di masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence on job stress with social support as a mediating variable among female teachers at SMAN 8 Padang. Using a quantitative approach with a descriptive-causal design, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 52 respondents using a total sampling technique. Descriptive analysis revealed that emotional intelligence was in the moderate category, while job stress was in the moderately low category Inferential analysis using SEM-PLS showed that emotional intelligence had a significant negative effect on job stress, emotional intelligence had a significant positive effect on social support, and social support had a significant negative effect on job stress. Additionally, social support significantly mediated the relationship between emotional intelligence and job stress. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening emotional and social aspects to reduce job stress in educational environments. The limitation of this study lies in the narrow sample scope, which only includes one school, making the results less generalizable. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kapasitas UMKM mengenai prinsip-prinsip circular economy, mengurangi limbah, memproduksi limbah menjadi produk baru dan menciptakan peluang bisnis baru. Data Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, Kabupaten Agam menghasilkan sampah 58.559 ton per tahun dimana baru 24,81% dapat dikelola. Untuk meningkatkan jumlah sampah yang dapat dikelola oleh pemerintah Kabupaten Agam dan Masyarakat melalui UMKM sebagai salah satu sektor yang memproduksi sampah, maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan mengenai pengelolaan sampah guna tercapainya tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDG’s goal) pada tujuan konsumsi dan produksi yang bertanggung jawab dalam bentuk pengenalan konsep circular economy kepada pelaku UMKM. Permasalahan utama dalam kegiatan circular economy ini adalah rendahnya pemahaman UMKM mengenai konsep ekonomi sirkular dan pengelolaan sampah berkelanjutan, serta terbatasnya pelatihan pemanfaatan limbah sebagai bahan baku produk olahan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui edukasi, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan pengolahan sampah dengan target capaian: (1) peningkatan pemahaman minimal 50% pada 80% peserta melalui pre-test dan post-test; (2) penerapan konsep circular economy oleh 30% peserta dalam tiga bulan setelah pelatihan; dan (3) terciptanya minimal lima produk olahan sampah oleh UMKM. Program ini diharapkan dapat memberdayakan UMKM agar lebih berkelanjutan, inovatif, dan ramah lingkungan, serta menjadi agen perubahan dalam mewujudkan ekonomi sirkular di tingkat lokal maupun nasional

Abstract

PkM skema integrasi prodi dan nagari ini dilaksanakan untuk memberdayakan Ibu-Ibu PKK di Nagari Kamang Hilia, Kecamatan Kamang Magek, Kabupaten Agam, melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan produksi kerajinan rajut. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah keterbatasan keterampilan, minimnya pemahaman manajemen keuangan keluarga, serta kurangnya peluang usaha yang dapat meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk memberikan solusi melalui tiga tahapan utama, yaitu pembekalan manajemen keuangan keluarga, pelatihan teknik dasar merajut, serta praktik dan bimbingan pembuatan produk rajutan bernilai jual. Metode yang digunakan mencakup ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi, dan pendampingan langsung oleh narasumber ahli. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta dalam pengelolaan keuangan keluarga serta peningkatan keterampilan dalam memproduksi berbagai produk rajutan seperti tas dan dompet. Peserta juga menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan motivasi untuk mengembangkan usaha kreatif berbasis rajutan sebagai sumber pendapatan tambahan. Kegiatan ini terbukti efektif dalam mendorong kemandirian ekonomi dan pemberdayaan perempuan di tingkat nagari.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to observe the effect of the age of the organization department in Padang State University on performance through human capital, structural capital and relational capital. The sample is all of department in Padang State University, which is 33 departments. The data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using partial least squares (PLS). The results showed that the age of the department is not direct and significant impact on the department performance. While the age departments significantly affect the department's human capital, structural capital and relational capital. Furthermore, the human capital, structural capital and relational capital significantly positive affect the department performance. This research failed to prove the existence of variable human capital, structural capital and relational capital as a mediating variable but serves as an intervening variable. Its means that age of department performance cannot determine performance without increasing the human capital, structural capital and relational capital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to establish and differentiate the concept and implementation of task function and task relation in Minangkabau leadership concept. This leadership concept implemented by three parties, namely, ninik mamak (clan leader), alim ulama (ecclesiastic)) and cerdik pandai (intellectual). This study collected data by survey questionnaire administered to formal and informal leaders in Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The sample was 720 leaders selected through purposive sampling in 4 districts in Padang. The instrument in this study was developed based on Minangkabau alternative leadership and transformational leadership. Data were analyzed using discriminant analysis.

Abstract

The fluctuating employee turnover rates at Budiman Swalayan Ulak Karang from 2022 to 2024 suggest dynamic work conditions that may reflect issues in human resource management. This study aims to analyze the effect of workload on turnover intention with work stress as a mediating variable. Data were collected through questionnaires from 57 permanent employees and analyzed using descriptive statistics and path analysis based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that workload does not directly affect turnover intention, but significantly influences work stress, which fully mediates the relationship. The findings highlight the importance of managing work stress to reduce turnover intention. This study implies that organizations should prioritize stress-reduction strategies, such as workload balancing and employee support systems, to enhance employee retention. The results also provide practical insights for HR policies aimed at fostering a healthier and more sustainable work environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan dan menganalisis pengaruh work family conflict dan employee engagement terhadap turnover intention, serta membuktikan secara empiris apakah employee engagement mampu memediasi hubungan antara work family conflict denganturnover intention. Penelitian dilakukan pada 154 orang pegawai Bank Nagari Cabang Utama Padang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan survei, melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur (Path Analysis). Sesuai dengan hasil pengujian hipotesis ditemukan work family conflict mendorong semakin kuatnya turnover intention, selain work family conflict yang dirasakan pegawai menurunkan employee engagement yang mereka rasakan. Pada uraian hasil juga ditemukan employee engagement yang semakin kuat akan menurunkan turnover intention, selain itu pada hasil pengujian pengaruh tidak langsung ditemukan employee engagementmampu memediasi hubungan antara work family conflict dengan turnover intention pada pegawai Bank Nagari Cabang Utama Padang.
